I've updated Alathea's profile to reflect taking a level in Aes Sedai! Yay!
Jonasty, is there anything specific you're looking for as to backstory? I've got a few ideas in mind to fill in details about Alathea's family and contacts in Ebou Dar, and I can think up some details about her previous travels as an Accepted, but I imagine that life as a Novice/Accepted is usually pretty uneventful outside of being in the White Tower and learning (Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve aside). I'll do my best to come up with some interesting hooks for adventure, but I see Alathea as an ordinary (at least to White Tower standards) woman thrown into an extraordinary situation, rather than a special snowflake who has had tons of weird experiences in the past.
Off the top of my head, the one "adventure" that Alathea will most certainly be pursuing is to be officially raised Aes Sedai, and barring finding out about the extent of Elaida's abuses and insanity, she'll insist on being raised by Elaida's faction. I suppose going back to the White Tower, dealing with interrogation as to her experiences, actually being raised in light of her associations and actions, subsequently being allowed to leave the Tower, and returning to the rest of the group could be an adventure, but it also sounds unlikely. So, while it's something she'll strive for, I can see why it'd be a problematic thing to run in-game.

Jasper, I opened your character sheet and everything in there looks like you're still level 5 instead of 6. Did you level on another doc and not copy and paste yet?

To clarify the backstory/info request.
If you want to include full-on stories about your past with NPC's I can use in my plotting, that'd be great. But you could just as easily include a simple list of thoughts and opinions your character has. "Doesn't like the Gray Ajah. Has a favorite inn in Tear. Likes to burn buildings. Bitten by a snake as a kid. Has a sister named Sarah. Etc."
I'm really just looking for ways to hook you guys into the story and have there be a drive behind what you do. I don't want this to be a series of fetch quests or the like. When you read the game thread, I almost want you to feel like you're reading a mini-novel written by Jordan. I'm planning on having you guys interact with some recognizable NPCs from the novels. Ideally, in a perfect world, I'm hoping this game lasts long enough and is enjoyable enough to get you guys into the upper levels of play while parralleling the plot of the stories and have the campaign coincide with the last book when it comes out next year. From there, we would then explore our options (as I don't really know how they're gonna end everything). But I want this to truly be a Wheel of Time game and so I want to make you guys as involved as I can in the story.

Likes to burn buildings.
I think we all know who this is...
Cool. Now that I know what you're looking for, I'll focus on that rather than detailing Alathea's story from birth to present. I'll probably have some stuff posted by tonight, and more later. Thanks!

Fia is updated with another level of wilder. I also added the weaves she learned from the others.(forgot to list them when we were teaching each other). I will try and type out her backstory stuff hopefully this weekend.

So I found a list of (un)official errata based on comments and answers from one of the game's designers. That being the case, I would consider it official enough for me.
Not gonna go through the whole thing here but one of the changes that I'll throw out there for you guys is that some of the PrC's have updated Requirements sections. Please use these going forward. Now that being the case, some of you might qualify for these earlier than you might have planned for and if you want to adjust your build for this last level up to take one, that's fine. Not offering a rework of your whole build but if you could now qualify for the PrC with what you already had, feel free to change your level up choices.

The myrddraal blade doesn't exactly track with the standard rules for disease even though it causes one. Here's the breakdown.
Most diseases have an incubation period and then you get hit with bad stuff. They then have a secondary line of bad stuff that gets you every day after until you're cured or make enough saves. Usually the secondary damage isn't as bad as the first round.
The myrddraal disease has the incubation period and damage, which has been rolled. However there is no secondary damage listed. One could argue that you would just keep rolling the same Fort save and taking the same damage each day. That could be fine or it could kill you all outright if you're taking 1d6 Con damage each day.
Here's my take on it and how I'm ruling it. The regular damage of a myrddraal blade doesn't heal naturally. I'm going to say the same holds true with the disease portion as well. This kind of fits in line with the books. So for the disease, there is no secondary damage and no more saves needed. However the Con damage you took will not heal naturally at all. Only the healing weave Restore (out of the Prophecies of the Dragon book) can heal this damage.
Chime in with your thoughts, I'll listen to other proposals although I kind of like this way of dealing with it so far.
Also, since this is coming up now, if anyone wants to swap their weave learned at 6th level for Restore instead that is fine.

I will certainly swap Alathea's 6th level weave for Restore. Thanks for the opportunity!

So, uh, I don't have the Prophecies of the Dragon. Could someone who does post the details of the Restore weave? I'll do my best to obtain it by...one way or the other, but for now, I don't know what it does exactly.
EDIT: Uh, nevermind. I "found" a copy of the book, so I can look up the weave on my own! If anyone else needs the details, let me know and I'll post them.

Finally updated my character sheet!
Jasmine: Note that my fortitude is now +9.
DM: My next level will be Warder, hurray! So, DM, you said you were okay with the change to the 4th level of Warder. Would you prefer Iron Will become Lightning Reflexes or Great Fortitude? I might end up taking whichever feat isn't represented for next level, so it is relevant now. Thanks!

Hey Jed, I'm writing some background on Jasmine and wanted to see if you wanted to put together your daring rescue of her from the Seanchan. She would have been captured and imprisoned for at least 1 month and I'm working on the circumstances of that capture. We also need to come up with how exactly we met and when you were bonded to me. I was thinking that since I couldn't have cast it I would have had another Aes Sedai prisoner that we rescued on the way out of Falme cast it on us as a form of payment for you rescuing her. Let me know what you think and maybe some ideas for how we met.

Sounds good! Here's an idea:
Later on, I was sent to Falme to investigate, as before, and during a skirmish with some of the Seanchan, Jed recognized Jasmine as one of the collared damane. *cure epic rescue mission*

I've posted some backstory on Alathea's profile. I stole Jasmine's questionnaire and filled it out for Alathea, and put up descriptions of some of the important people in Alathea's life. Thus far, it's mostly her family members, but I'll fill in at least a few more people in the next few days.
You're all welcome to read Alathea's backstory stuff. I've put it in spoilers, but that's more of an organizational thing than anything, like the rest of the spoilers in my profile. Just don't act on them in-character if you haven't learned them in-character! Enjoy!

My only suggestion for the Forkroot would be to change the duration of the channeling effect to something like 2d4+4 hours or 1d6+6 hours which gives you the same maximum but makes it more like the books. I can't remember anyone shaking off the effects of a strong dose of forkroot in as little as an hour. Other than that I think it's perfect.
