M Elf Hexcrafter 5 (AC18/12/16), 51/51HP, F7/R4/W7+9vs enchantment, Per+10/ +2Thrasher, Init+4

Misfortune (Su): The witch can cause a creature within 30 feet to suffer grave misfortune for 1 round. Anytime the creature makes an ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, it must roll twice and take the worse result. A Will save negates this hex. At 8th level and 16th level, the duration of this hex is extended by 1 round. This hex affects all rolls the target must make while it lasts. Whether or not the save is successful, a creature cannot be the target of this hex again for 1 day.

Cackle just means I can keep it going indefinitely as long as I spend a move action every round.
It IS NOT mind effecting and Hexes do not provoke.

This will let me go
1-spellstrike+move to close
2- Misfortune, hex
3- stand there and standard attack+ cackle while enemy has toroll twice and take the suckyroll.
Repeat!

M Human Oracle 3

JuJu Oracle perhaps? They can cast Reminder of Death to paralyze undead and also command undead.

Male Human Fighter(Two Weapon Warrior)/4 - Monk of Many Styles/2 - HP: 58/58; AC 20, FF 17, T 13; F+9,R+8,W+6/7; Init+5; Per+10

Mind effecting stuff usually does not work against undead unless it says that it specifically does. Cackle simply makes hexes work longer - if the initial hex does not affect undead, then the cackle would simply continue something that does not work.

Male Human Ranger 1

OK
Which is fine because Misfortune is NOT mind affecting.

Evil eye is. Misfortune is not.
So it works.

found a good photo that suits my image of Adriel.

Metagaming concerns:

The PbP format makes it easy to metagame and provide information that is not really available to some characters. Let's all try to avoid commenting, or providing suggestions, on information that your character does not know. I don't want this to become a problem.

Init +11, Perception +12 (+15 vs. traps), Disable Device: +19 (+22 vs traps), AC 21/16/16, CMD: 15, HP 58/58, Fort: 6, Ref: 12, Will: 5

Agreed!!

Male Elf Magus 11 AC27/T16/FF23,+4 spell, HP23/81, F14/R11/W12 +2vs Enchantment, Init +4, Perception +22

woke up to 11 new posts. Yay! let's go.....awww right. Dead.
*Twiddles thumbs*

M Human Oracle 3

* Karzak nibbles on the well seasoned elf.*

M Human Oracle 3

Since there is probably only about a cupful of of Varrel left we can probably move on. Go back up? I think that is a good idea since we don't really have an effective way to deal with the ooze.

M Elf Hexcrafter 5 (AC18/12/16), 51/51HP, F7/R4/W7+9vs enchantment, Per+10/ +2Thrasher, Init+4

Adriel could kill it with Acid Splash in like, Ave 25rds...

HP /, AC 18/12/16, F +4, R +4, W +6 Init. +8, Perc. +6

I think that is a decent plan. I don't think we can hurt it badly enough to dispose of it as is.

M Human Oracle 3

Acid against an ooze? Let us bash it and have Shine mend our weapons.

Male Human Fighter(Two Weapon Warrior)/4 - Monk of Many Styles/2 - HP: 58/58; AC 20, FF 17, T 13; F+9,R+8,W+6/7; Init+5; Per+10

I was trying to shoot it. If it moves slow, I can fire my bow for 2-3 rounds and then just move back more. As long as you all stay out of the way, this is what I posted in the IC about 15 posts ago.

Evil GM

to make it a bit easier on you the ooze is no longer there.

F Gnome (Lava) Cleric 6 (HP 48/48, Current AC 26/26/15, F +8, R +4, W +9 Init. +1, Perc. +9)

You killed it with a single mighty arrow. Good job! ;)

F Gnome (Lava) Cleric 6 (HP 48/48, Current AC 26/26/15, F +8, R +4, W +9 Init. +1, Perc. +9)

I'll be out until mid afternoon or so tomorrow. Baldwin, Please bot me if you need to.

M Human Oracle 3

Oooooo! Get your back-up ready. ;)

Evil GM

Once everyone gets inside the manorhouse it will be difficult to use a back-up.

Male Human Fighter(Two Weapon Warrior)/4 - Monk of Many Styles/2 - HP: 58/58; AC 20, FF 17, T 13; F+9,R+8,W+6/7; Init+5; Per+10

Two magic picks plus a 20 strength and someone who can cast enlarge and bull's strength - I could always dig my way out.

HP /, AC 18/12/16, F +4, R +4, W +6 Init. +8, Perc. +6

Apologies, but I will be out most of the day today. I'll be out until roughly 8 pm eastern time. Please run Riggs as necessary. Thanks.

Evil GM

I don't have time to post today, I'll try get something up tomorrow.

Evil GM

Sorry to do this but I'm going to put this game on hiatus. Real life has me busy and I'm having trouble keeping up running two games.

Init +11, Perception +12 (+15 vs. traps), Disable Device: +19 (+22 vs traps), AC 21/16/16, CMD: 15, HP 58/58, Fort: 6, Ref: 12, Will: 5

Understandable. Please pm me if you start back or have an opening in your other campaign. I hope life slows down for you soon.

M Elf Hexcrafter 5 (AC18/12/16), 51/51HP, F7/R4/W7+9vs enchantment, Per+10/ +2Thrasher, Init+4

Awww...

Ahh well. I guess I have my backup now if Duncan dies in the other game...

M Human Oracle 3

You won't die! Andrea will get you raised!

Hope things slow down for you some Baldwin. You are a great DM.
