M Elf Hexcrafter(AC22/13/20), 50/50HP, F8/R5/W7+10vs enchantment, Per+10/Thrasher+8, Init+3
Misfortune (Su): The witch can cause a creature within 30 feet to suffer grave misfortune for 1 round. Anytime the creature makes an ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, it must roll twice and take the worse result. A Will save negates this hex. At 8th level and 16th level, the duration of this hex is extended by 1 round. This hex affects all rolls the target must make while it lasts. Whether or not the save is successful, a creature cannot be the target of this hex again for 1 day.
Cackle just means I can keep it going indefinitely as long as I spend a move action every round.
It IS NOT mind effecting and Hexes do not provoke.
This will let me go
1-spellstrike+move to close
2- Misfortune, hex
3- stand there and standard attack+ cackle while enemy has toroll twice and take the suckyroll.
Repeat!

Mind effecting stuff usually does not work against undead unless it says that it specifically does. Cackle simply makes hexes work longer - if the initial hex does not affect undead, then the cackle would simply continue something that does not work.
The PbP format makes it easy to metagame and provide information that is not really available to some characters. Let's all try to avoid commenting, or providing suggestions, on information that your character does not know. I don't want this to become a problem.

Since there is probably only about a cupful of of Varrel left we can probably move on. Go back up? I think that is a good idea since we don't really have an effective way to deal with the ooze.

I was trying to shoot it. If it moves slow, I can fire my bow for 2-3 rounds and then just move back more. As long as you all stay out of the way, this is what I posted in the IC about 15 posts ago.
