B2 Will: 1d20 ⇒ 3
The bandits are unprepared for Telsyn's magic and fall to the ground as they are hit by the Color Spray.
Unconscious/Blinded/Stunned for 2d4 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5 rounds; then Blinded/Stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds; then stunned for 1 round.
Holt grabs his club, holding it close to his chest. "It seems like you have this well in hand. I'll protect the cart just in case..."
Holt goes into Total Defense.

Orym hops off the cart as well, greataxe resting on his shoulder. "What d'ya think we should do with 'em?" he asks as they lay helpless. "Oh, do any of ya have some rope? No use spillin' blood if we can just tie 'em to a tree or something."
Move to F:3 (move action).

"I have about 50 feet of rope." Missea pulls the mentioned hemp rope out of her pack and tosses it to Orym. She then picks up her sling again and stays with the cart, in case more bandits arrive.
"We could bind them and bring them with us? Perhaps they will have a better chance of rethinking their life in custody."

"The Dawnflower teaches that we must give even the most wicked a chance to change. We have the fortune of having taken them alive, for better or worse." Missea smiles as she speaks, but their is strength behind it.
Orym |
"Fair enough, then." Orym begins to tie the bandits up with Missea's rope. "A li'l help? I ain't so good at this, but if ya take their weapons an' such, I'd feel a lot more comfortable."

Very well.
Telsyn helps with the hand tying and looking for valuables. They can pull the thugs behind the cart.
He'll cast detect magic on the off chance that they've got anything magical, and look out for more bandits. perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Thank the gods for our sharp-eyed cleric!

Welp....getting angry and screaming at them doesn't seem to be helping either of us. LOL This is sooo unbelievable the others will make it into town and be settled in before we ever finish this spider. LOL
GM Dust |
Still need to make another Fort Save, Tosom.
The lucky spider attempts to bite the fighter again, but fails miserably.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Round 6: Tanna, Spider, Vishanti, Derika, Tosom

2d8 ⇒ (8, 2) = 10
All the bandits have on them are a morningstar, a light wooden, leather armor and a light crossbow each, 20 bolts and 10 silver among them both.
Holt seems a little uncomfortable with the idea of dragging along bandits, but goes along with the idea. "I'm sure they'll have a place for them in Vinse. It won't be too long."
After a minute, the bandits come to and find themselves tied up. They eye the three of you angrily but say nothing as the cart moves on. Soon, you arrive in Vinse. Taking a look around, you identify the main buildings of the town: a sawmill, an inn called "The Gilded Axe" and a common hall. The rest are small cottages and shacks.

"So this is Vinse? I somehow expected it to be... larger, I think." Missea looks around as she steps off the cart. "Oh, thank you for taking us here, Mr. Holt. It isn't much, but I would be fine with you taking my share of the bandit's gear in recompense for your time... and for your compassion in taking the bandits here too."
She smiles, bright as the sun, and looks around.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Missea Reinobese |
Missae looks at Telsyn with gratitude and a smile. "Well, where do you think we should take our new 'companions' for their new 'lodging?'" She asks, gesturing to the two bound ill-tempered bandits.
Derika |
Awweee that's so sweet. And Henry is gonna swap phones with me tonight since wayfinder is working on his but not on mine. But I've been informed that if I curse his phone, I have a bad rep when it comes to technical devices, I'll be in trouble. LOL Hims loves me lots! Hehe Ooohhhh brother it's gonna be interesting at work tonight, but I'm sitting with a patient on a different floor tonight....so I'm gonna have to stay awake. Looks like large quantities of caffeine it is. I just gotta be careful not to overdo it like I did last night and make myself feel sick. LOL
Missea Reinobese |
Missea nods and turns to Orym. She doesn't say anything to him, but rather raises an eyebrow inquisitively.
I wonder where he would suggest we bring them. If he has no ideas, then I guess to the common hall.
Derika |
Seeing what was happening to her new....companions and with the increasing frustration of apparently not being able to hit the broad side of a barn, she screams and throws down her warhammer. "I said ENOUGH!!" As she throws the hammer down her hands come back up as vicious looking claws seem to grow from her fingernails. She lets out another primal scream as she slashes at spider in a fit of rage. Derika Mad!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 Derika Slash!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
In her wild fit of rage, she slashes violently at the air.
Lol....next? We'll get this eventually. Next?

"Thank you again, Mr. Holt. May the blessings of Sarenrae shine upon your journeys."
Missea waves to him as he drives off.
"What a kind man. Well, let us take these gentlemen to their new home."
So saying, she starts heading toward the Common Hall.

Orym nods, making sure his grip on the rope is secure. "Sounds like a plan, lass," he agrees, following after her, his greataxe tapping against the ground as he uses it as a makeshift walking stick.

"Oh, I am sure things will be fine... they will be happy to have two less bandits on their roads, and will probably have something they need two indentured servants to do... some mine or quarry to work off their crimes in."
Missea says cheerfully, sunlight practically dripping from the words, as she opens the doors to the hall.

Missea smiles warmly at the men as they greet them.
"I certainly hope so! We have traveled a ways to get here. Sadly, we did run into a bit of trouble about an hour's journey from town. These two gentlemen," here Missea gestures to the bound men, "attempted to rob my companions and Mr. Holt, our guide. We managed to take them alive, thanks to the quick actions of Telsyn here, and we were wondering if you had a place to incarcerate them while they learn the errors of their ways."
Missea's smile is almost infectuous, her gold eyes sparkling in delicious complement to her red hair. "By the way, I am Missea Reinobese, humble priestess of Sarenrae, the Dawnflower. May her light shine brightly upon you. My two companions are Telsyn and Orym, who can introduce themselves more thoroughly I am sure in better words than mine."
GM Dust |
"Aye," one of the older men says with a genial smile. "Well met, travelers. I am Martin, one of the five members of Vinse's council. It's been a rare day for visitors and now we're graced by a servant of Sarenrae."
His face hardens as he looks to the bandits. "Do you two have anything to say for yourselves?"
One of the bandits gives the man a cold stare. "It doesn't matter what you do with us. Firean'll come down here and sort you all out."
Martin sighs. "I suppose we'll have to put them in jail. It's near the sawmill. If there's nothing else at the moment, I shall go with you and deal with them."
Orym |

Orym bows his head in greeting, a calm grin on his face. "Greetin's. I'm Orym, just a simple traveler, brought here by tell o' troubles," the half-orc says, being purposely vague.
When the bandits threaten their companions will come from them, Orym sighs. "Will they? Far as they know, you fellas are a'ready dead. You had the good fortune that we decided to tie you up and bring you here, 'stead o' bashin' your heads in and throwin' you in a ditch, but that don't mean you're off the hook," he warns.
