It takes her a minute before Derika gets the meaning behind Jerrica's words, "Ooohhhh I see...you little minx you. Don't go distracting him too much now." She laughs as they run out into the rain.

You could cut them up, I'm sure the material is well suited for soaking up other people's messes." She can't help but giggle a little bit.

The group sets forth again for the keep. The rain does not slacken one bit and the game trail is quite muddy.

She sighs, "I guess I better get used to being dirty. So....you're gonna do that spell stuff to me when we get to that tower, or right before we reach it?" She asks as she pulls the hooded part of her cloak down a little further over her head, while splashing through a large puddle.

Vishanti is quiet as the group makes thier way to the keep, enjoying the rain.

Orym soon looks like the half-orc equivalent of a wet dog in the downpour, but manages to keep a calm smile on his face. His weapon makes a strange noise as the wooden haft digs through the mud in time with the sorcerer's footsteps.
You find the keep as you left it, though the goblin corpses from yesterday have been cleared off. You see flickering lights through the arrow slits of the watchtower.

They just laughed at you last time, right? If they think we still can't get in, they probably won't shoot at us. Let's just walk up there like we're going back below, then go up there, instead.

Orym first chants and gestures to cast the spell on himself, a faint opaque field forming over his skin and clothing before dissipating. He then does the same for Derika, resting his hand on the woman's shoulder to channel the magic into her. "Ready when you folks are."
Orym casts Mage Armor on himself and Derika. 2/4 1st level spells remain today.

Telsyn casts Mage Armor on himself, too (1 hr). That might help, Tanna. Let's see if we can get inside, first, and get an idea how many are in there. You and Orym can use your spells to subdue as many as possible, then we'll deal with whatever's left.
Sound good? Telsyn looks to the others for affirmation.

Derika grins as she approaches the door and calls out an old nursery rhyme she remembers as a taunt right before attempting to kick in the door.
In her meanest sounding voice she calls out, "Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!!" As she says the last word she gives the door a good kick.
Strength check to kick in door: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
I think that's right. She's pissed off at the bandits and raging to boot so, lets see what happens. Hehehe

Actually, we miscalculated in the group's favor, but I'll let it stand.
After beating on the door three times, the iron-bound door collapses in a heap on twisted metal and splinters. You clearly see that you've been expected: a singular bandit hunches behind a table near the far end of the room with a crossbow aimed at the doorway which Derika cannot fit through.
Initiative:

Orym leans around the door frame, casting a spell. When his incantation completes, a bolt of acid lances through the air towards the bandit.

Orym's attack goes a little wide, melting a small hole into the wall behind the bandit. The bandit drops his crossbow, draws a flail and attacks Jerrica.

She curses as her swing goes wide, missing the bandit entirely. Frustrated by her inability to hit anything except a door with her hammer she drops it as she prepares for her next attack.
