Mmmmm....this sweet and sour stuff ain't bad. It woulda been better if I had bell pepper, onion, and pineapple to put in it....but the broccoli and carrots are good too. :o)

OKay....meds are starting to kick in, I'm gonna go lay down with Henry...who's probably already passed out. Hope everyone else has a good day. *sigh* I get to be home all by myself for the next few days...won't that just be great? *sarcastic tone*

Relax? Lol Do you know who you're talking to? I'm the girl who (in Henry's terms) "bulldozed" my way through recovery after I had brain surgery so I could go back to work. I'm not sure I know how to relax. I woke up to call work to make sure they had me off the schedule. They did, but even though the Dr put me off for an extended period of time, I still have to call in every night. Ain't that stupid? Anyways, the medicine is a lot stronger than I'm used to, so I'm still pretty loopy, but Henry's gonna wake me up before he goes to work so I don't completely screw up my schedule.

Just realized we have no rogue, this might be a problem though the solution will probably me taking Trapper Ranger lvl,or third so I don't lose a feat.
Wow...okay I've been up since like 1am yesterday morning, so I think now is time for me to lay down. Acid reflux or no...I don't think I can keep my eyes open much longer. I never was able to go to sleep today...but I gotta try...I'm so tired now.

The dog has a whole bowl of food, yet when I decide to have a couple of my ginger snaps, she's all over me and up in my grill. She's practically trying to climb up into my lap to get at it. What the hell? Lol I'm wondering how she's gonna handle the move to New York? (If we somehow manage to even pull it off) She's not the greatest on car rides when we just go to mom and dads. I'm gonna need to find better tranquilizers and put her in the back seat somewhere. Lol
I would almost suggest marijuana for that dog...
Absolutely not....Lol She's laying on the floor right next to the chair now and looking up at me with those sad pathetic eyes of hers. I hope she doesn't need to go outside, cuz I don't want to go out there in the cold.

Thank you very much! It has been one of the best ones I've had in a long time. My boobear took the night off so he can be at home with me. He's not feeling too good right now though. I think maybe some of the rich foods we had didn't agree with him too well. I hope he feels better after a while. I feel bad that it upset his tummy though. :o(
He brought the sweetest card home to me this morning that he got on his way home. Then after we ate we went to the store and I got a Nora Roberts book, and tootsie rolls for my birthday. All in all....it was just a really great day.

OH yeah....before I forget. *Returns high five* In other news:
Got a call from the fertility clinic. My Dr's nurse called me and apparently my Dr is on vacation and won't be back until the 27th, so this means they won't be able to start my treatment until next month. She said something about needing to do another ultra sound....I don't know why. It was too late when I woke up to call and ask her, but I plan on doing that tomorrow. According to them, my last ultra sound came back without any abnormalities.....so, I don't know why in the hell they would need a second, but I plan on finding out and it better be a damn good reason or they ain't gonna be doing nuthin. I'm not paying more money out the ass for them to dick around....and that's exactly what I plan on telling them. Anyways...waiting a few more months to get pregnant won't kill us...it means I can have the babies in the cooler part of the year...so there's that. We've waited almost 12 years for this...what's a few more months right?
It's not a horrible thing, and it'll take a while for the progesterone to build up anyways. I guess they have to make sure that everything is where it should be and they probably want another look at my uterus as well as other stuff to make sure that it's primed to cook up a baby. Lol
Everyone, my mother-in-law is in the hospital after having suffered a heart attack. I do not know when I will be available to post. When I learn more I will keep everyone updated.

I'll be praying for her recovery.
Game will be on hold until Tanna gets back. I won't bot unless I get the okay and a list of actions.
I feel like when I'm gone my list of actions will be just this, speaking of which thats coming up in a few weeks WOOOOOO!!!!
Status update: she successfully had angioplasty and a stint put in. They checked for a stroke and found no signs of such. She sleeps for the most part, though she is not recognizing anyone and is not very coherent.
The surgery being a success was most welcome, though there is still more yet to come. We still have to see if her body rejects or accepts said stint, which will come with time. That's about it for now.
We will continue to keep her as well as the rest of your family in our thoughts, and sending much love and prayers for the best outcome. Just keep in touch and let us know how everything is going. Best of wishes to you all.

I hate being put off of work it totally throws me out of whack. I'm going to try and lay down and get more than 2 hours sleep. I need at least six more hours....please please, at least six.
Okay, I'll try to make this brief. Basically the space between my disks from the L5-S1 is narrowing with associated facet joint hypertrophy. There were degenerative changes that it showed of the Sacroiliac joints and osteophytes along the acetabula.
Pretty much means I can lift anything heavy anymore. Ummmm, the dr pretty much told me that I can't be lifting patients anymore. This time I just strained a lower lumbar muscle, but the spine isn't going to get better and it will continue to slowly degenerate. If I keep lifting and pulling on these people with my spine degenerating like this, I could end up fracturing it eventually.
So, since he refuses to send me back without restrictions, I can't go back to work. That's pretty much it, in a nutshell. I was planning on changing my job, but not quite like this.
However, it's out of my hands now so I just have to take things a day/step at a time and learn how to deal with it.
Now about an hour or so ago I took all this pain medicine he says I need to be taking so I've had, Percocet, Maloxicam, and Flexeril and I think I'm about to fall over so I'm gonna go pass out for probably quite a while....I hope so at least. I don't think my mind can take much more right now.
Okay, better news today. Things with my spine are not as dire as that last Dr made them out to be.
New doctor says that amount of degenerative change in my spine is normal for someone over the age of 25 that does the kind of work that I do. He said the injury had nothing to do with my spine and that it was in fact a lower lumbar muscle strain. It will heal, just takes time and exercise.
I still can't go back to work, nor can I lift anything over 20 lbs. Not for a while at least. Five days a week of PT, plus some extra stretching exercises he gave me to do at home with the PT exercises and he said walking is good for it. Walking....not hiking and climbing over rocks. So, there's that at least.
Since he disproved that my condition was 'pre-exisiting', workmans comp still has me as well as my medical bills covered. So, we can still afford to pay our bills and stuff. Which was one of my main concerns.
So, it went okay and I didn't have to club anyone to death. He was actually a really nice doctor too and wasn't a foreigner which made it much easier to understand him.
I have to go to PT for the rest of this week, and then see him again this next Monday for re-assessment.
James, I was just thinking about you and wondering how things with your family were going.
Things are well. Mom was discharged and is back in the rehab facility.
As for me, I am getting ready for my trip. I don't know when they will have me travel as of yet. I had hoped to be on the road tomorrow, but the hotel reservation has not been sent to me. So I wait. Although payday is tomorrow so that's nice.
I will begin resuming my PbP games once I get settled up there.
