This Special is meant for everyone to gather at certain points at the same time. it certainly sounds better in face to face gaming then Pbf. While it does make sense for Natula to have a single pounder take down the door, unfortunately we need to wait for other tables to catch up.
Also, the artifact with sparks have to go first.
Once Overseer has announced the next part then only can the table GM proceed the next phrase so as to speak. Closest thing I can describe is, the party has completed Stage X, map loading. You see yours has completed but there are several other bars still incomplete.

VC - Sydney, Australia

Pretty much. It wasn't so much making three saves because you were standing still, it was more a case of you have avoided engaging with the device and simply pushed through a crowd of people as you shoot to the door on the far side. Moving through a corwd of ninety people who are also trying to both disable a device and avoid being blasted is rather difficult - somehow we are to assume that the whole party managed to get from one door to the other door (with 84 other dudes coming through at the same instant), through a wildly moving crowd and past a zapping device and have time to check the other door and find out it is locked and have a discussion to that effect in under six seconds.

With that picture in mind, those tendrils are firing off at up to fifteen tendrils a round if we look at what is taking place - so what is happening is you have been tagged by multiple tendrils as you moved through the space - where the abstraction is in your favour is that the system is not randomising which tendrils are hitting you - the high end tables tendrils are 9d6, but magically you only get tagged by tendrils 'in tier'.

Now by scooting past the door (and eating a bunch of tendrils, you sort of have the option to cut scene - whilst the rest of the tables catch up to where you are in the story - in around 12 seconds (in game time) for the rest of that crowd to get sorted out - and remembering you may be having to move some lunk out of the way to interact with the (locked) door as well

Bypass was an option, but at the day it is actually the mechanically worst one - but those without a disable device capable member have a significant disadvantage

Hope that helps...

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

Chronicle Sheets GM Busy At Work........

And there we have it!!!! Final Combat Encounter. Folks!!

Overseer:

With a supernatural roar of fury, Charvion Eater-of-Bones raises his arms to the ceiling and screams in an ancient, guttural tongue. A nimbus of white flame erupts about him and then explodes, sending several different versions of Charvion flying about the room. Each Charvion stands and laughs, and in one loud chorus they say, “Come and fight me, Pathfinders. Your days are numbered!”

Init Rolls:
"Bottles" Lazuli 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Lumpii 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Natula Icosagon Thako 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Professor Dario Westone 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Charvion 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Round 1
Natula Icosagon Thako
Grayscales
Charvion 'BBEG'
Lumpii
Professor Dario Westone
"Bottles" Lazuli
Fundir

Dressed in wildly flapping robes as his hands cackle with arcane tendrils of power. The one standing before is obviously crazed and is out for destruction.

Yours!

3 Fort Saves vs Dc 15

Sucessful Saves, dmg halved.
1) 1d6 ⇒ 5
2) 1d6 ⇒ 1
3) 1d6 ⇒ 4

Good news. Any damage rolled for the tendrils of energy is halved.
Dmg is now
1) 2
2) 1
3) 2
Half of the above if you saved.

So, 1,0,2.

The spiked and stuck door lasts mere moments as the horde of Pathfinders simply blow through it, part fleeing the cage, part fueled by visions of revenge!

The walls and floor of this room are made of pale, roughly finished sandstone. The walls curve upward to an almost dome-like structure above, and the level of the floor is slightly lower than that of the entry door. Squared arches of polished sandstone are cut into the curved walls, creating fantastic columns. The walls are covered to a height of 30 feet with enormous bookshelves full of tomes, scrolls, and leather-bound books. Several ladders, used to climb to the higher shelves, are scattered about the room. At a half-dozen points throughout the room, the rough, sandstone floor has been breached—smashed open as though someone were looking for something—and from somewhere in the room you hear an angry pounding.

"You! The idiot! I can't imagine you are bright enough to burn yourself with a bonfire let alone be responsible for this!" Really should have joined the Aspis Consortium. At least they're reliable.

Knowing what she would do in this situation given a nice plump group of targets in an enclosed space Natula moves out into the open and casts mage armor on Fundir before she leaves. Nothing else currently has the range. I'm guessing the other hims and the holes in the floor aren't 'real' enough to warrant placement on the map. Or are the copies of him clustered close like mirror images? Any idea what he's saying?

I think the idea of multiple copies of him are to satisfy the narrative of the multiple tables. Each party gets to face one. Weaker parties (like ourselves) face weaker copies. High level parties face stronger copies. That's how the other multi-table special I played used some things. In fact, I remember that if you defeated your boss quickly, another one stepped up to keep you fighting until the end of the scenario. All the victories factor into how successful the entire group is (e.g. only 50% of tables won: baddies win; 75% of tables win: minor victory; 85% of tables win: average victory; 95% tables win: huge victory for PFS), so the more victories you get, the less everyone else has to do.

Dario rushes forward, flicking a small glob of butter at Charvion. "You and your insane contraption! You could have killed us all! And you brought the dragons and goblins here too!" He draws his rapier to face off against the maniac.

Cast Grease under him. DC 13 Reflex save or he falls prone. If he succeeds, he still needs to make a DC 10 Acrobatics check to move at half speed out of the area. Failure by 5 means he falls.

Holding his falchion in one hand, Grayscales moves forward into the room drawing a chakram as he advances. Having reached a spot with a clear shot, the Nagaji's muscles begin bulging as he enters into a controlled rage just before flinging the deadly ring weapon at Charvion.

chakram w/-2 range increment: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 - 2 = 3 (Just 5' past the first range increment of 30')

But the attack goes wide striking the wall behind him.

Natula once more derides the Insane Charvion even as those seam lips shaped the words of a spell that shimmers and settles upon Fundir, enveloping him in a protective force.

Charvion himself casts a similar spell while a chakram from Grayscales falls short of its mark.

Dario himself casts a spell to make Charvion slip but the Insane mage grins and capers off the patch of floor, avoiding the slippery patch.

Nvm, I think we can just handwave that grease spell.

Charvion screams as images of him overlap each other briefly and disntergrate in a bright flash of light, leaving him none the worst for wear but looking aged with his brow furrowed. The lines in his brow looks as if it was the pain of exertion of some other reason.
