Silfir hacks the flier out of the air and it flops to the ground. The party moves up and Dyrant tries to stare down one of the fliers, but is unable to find its eyes. It goes dark (darkness) as one of the creatures tries to strike Silfir again, but misses. Both creatures continue their flight, provoking from Silfir and Finneas, as they attempt to get 15' up.
Toffitt is on total defense and does not get an AoO. The darkness eminates 20' from flier #2. No, they didn't turn into goblins. I just haven't had time to reinstall the creature tokens. If the fliers survive they will be in the 5th vertical square. The darkness will not stop if killed.

Silfir cuts down a second creature as it swoops away. The two creatures reach the ceiling and swoop down once again on Silfir, tentacles writhing viciously. One never reaches Silifr as Finneas cuts it down. The other attempts to slip through the swings of Silfir and Glimmil...

Evidently more skilled then their brethern closer to the surface, these goblins turn Cog into a pincushion. Eight arrows pierce Cog's barding and drop him to the ground (31 damage total). The goblins on the ground pull out their swords while the ones above keep their bows out.

The goblins laugh and mock the party as Cog goes down and the Doctor's bow shot bounces off the ledge.
The goblins on the ground rush the party screaming in glee. Lost in the fervor, they do not even realize their swords clang off everyone's armor. The archers fire at Dyrant and one manages to get hit him. That is just a pinprick though compared to the scorching ray that slips past the goblin and Silfir to catch him in the chest. The goblin now standing at K8 in robes holding a shortspear then retreats 30' down the tunnel into the darkness.
