This will be the Shackled City adventure path using the Pathfinder rule set. However, the existing deities (i.e. St. Cuthbert, Pelor, Wee Jas) will not be converted to similar Golarion gods.

Finneas is still around the corner on the wall at J14 unless I missed a post. This means the woman would have to join him on the wall for his ready to go off. He can only see a bit of the ledge.

Toffitt manages to catch only part of the blast. He then moves in to threaten her, moving in an arc that takes him against the wall. Mid-move, he drops his bow and quick draws his blade. He then strikes defensively.

Could I forego the first Acrobatics check if I opened up for an attack when leaving my square? He's not really trying to avoid AoOs. He's just trying to get through her squares.

In any case, here is third check if you won't allow that... 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19. Sigh.

After their first leap, Glimmil sizes up the next leap Cog would need to make and frowns when he realizes there's not enough room for another running start.

Glancing upward, he sees Finneas's open shoulders and wonders to himself.

It's times like these, I really should be riding Finneas and not Cog... Hmmm...

Returning his attention back to the webs, Glimmil pats around his body searching for something with which he could start a fire.

Spoons. Puppets. Chocolate Eel-Monsters. Nada.

Hearing Atol cheer him on, he glances back at the priest in frustration.

"I can't get up there! I don't have any flint or tindertwigs? Do you have any fire, Atol? Any fire to burn these webs?"

Glimmil will defer to Atol, hoping the priest can toss him a spare torch or something with which to burn the strands. If he receives one he'll start to clear squares of the web.


Toffitt tumbles past the woman and waits for Finnneas. Finneas approaches and is about to strike when the woman fires another lightning bolt. This time it catches Finneas and Dyrant.

Toffitt stabs with Finneas in the flank but misses. Finneas has much better luck though and carves a big wound into the spider half of the body.

After resolving all the readied actions, Glimmil and Atol have two actions still and Dyrant has one.

St. Cuthbert's Favor:

Fortune (Su): The witch can grant a creature within 30 feet a bit of good luck for 1 round. The target can call upon this good luck once per round, allowing him to reroll any ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, taking the better result. He must decide to use this ability before the first roll is made. At 8th level and 16th level, the duration of this hex is extended by 1 round. Once a creature has benefited from the fortune hex, it cannot benefit from it again for 24 hours.

Dyrant will fly to H15 to check on Atol and Glim/Cog.

Ah I missed that edit on the backpack. Yeah with the reminder, and if I had actually looked to see Glimmil had no fire-starting capabilities, he would have gladly amended his inventory to include to the sunrod and tindertwig.

This should save Atol from lobbing an alchemist fire at... er, to Glimmil. Instead Glimmil would've pulled out the tindertwig and gone to work for the 3 rounds of clearing a square of web each round - north along the wall to the others. It needs to be done anyway to get the horses free after combat.

"Dyrant, here take this and banish the darkness beyond! If you cannot, I'll try to shoot into the darkness next round, but that's less certain..."

Atol beams almost as brightly as the bolt. I had the perfect scroll ready to go!

He's oblivious as to the luck that he's outside the darkness and can read it...

Dyrant smiles as he flies closer to Atol (move action...fly 5' up from Atol).

"Good thinking Atol! You're becoming a stronger Cuthbertine by the moment! However, that was Finn's voice complaining at the darkness, not the Doctor's. He voice is a bit higher pitched." Dyrant corrects and thanks Atol.

Dyrant takes a moment to touch himself in the matter that he requires.
