This will be the Shackled City adventure path using the Pathfinder rule set. However, the existing deities (i.e. St. Cuthbert, Pelor, Wee Jas) will not be converted to similar Golarion gods.

Thanks for the invite Glimmil, but one PbP is all I can handle. So it's socks first huh? I've just gone without socks 'cause I keep screwing that one up. Easier to just wear shoes over bare feet!

Meh. The long long application process and the chaos in the bar has me worried for the intentions of the judge. It's been too long and too odd. We'll see what happens.

Even though there's a dozen or so submissions, there's many with very little depth and some have had so many typos I'd say it's hurting their odds. Coming in late would be a boon since you'd avoid association with some of the chaos.

I saw in another thread he was running five (5!) games total. That makes me...wary. Although I have a social rogue I could drop in easily.
Actually, I think it was Patcher who was currently running 5 games while also opening up recruiting for Kingmaker and CCrown recently.
I declined to engage in those. I appreciate GM_Chris because I know this game is his sole reason for being (or primary escape from work...same thing) and dedication he puts into it.

Dyrant recalls that they are the names of adventuring companies or mercenaries, but can't recall any of their exploits aside from The Endgamers. They had a glorious career before their leader, Monsieur Montoya, convinced the entire party to buy matching red and white boots of flying with flames embroidered on the side. He then led the charge into the lair of the Elizalich to the cry of "Fireball Formation!"
Someone owes me a new keyboard. Damn that's funny!

I had confidence in GM_Chris's process. Oh wait :)

It's funny you should say that, since this guy looks older than your previous one to me. :)
Oh yeah. I think they could be about the same age, however, this one *appears* more youthful and alive...and if he's looking to the skies for patience, which he shall surely need.

How are we handling the money? Split up, carried by one guy, or maybe Skie will set up a credit account with us and we track shares equally?
I suggest we leave a chunk in the group fund and split off individual shares as we get nice clean chunks. The real question will be how do we handle magic splits, but that's later...
Also, don't rush on my account. I knew I'd have a day off or so waiting for your triumphant return!! No worries. :)
I like the bank it idea, if Skie handles most of the magic item purchases then I imagine most of our transactions will be through her anyway.
As for Atol, I think a quick trip to the snake oil, er, antique salesman and we should be ready to rock Jzadirune again. Once everybody else buys provisions of course. Maybe a tent. And some lockpicks. Battering ram. Small army of gnome "trap springers".

I could use a bit of time/money to scribe some new scrolls.
Also, I *love* the idea of the gnomish/atol-ish trap springers. Brilliant.
Unskilled labor is 1sp a day. For 1 gold piece we can get 100 people to run through the tunnels and spring every trap and ambush. Oh wait, we're the good party.
How much time do you need for the scribing? I'm sure we have time to spare. It's dark in the dungeon anyway, and we if we only get about 1 hour into it before needing to retreat we'll have plenty of spare.

Meh. It'll actually take me two days to make that work.
In fact, I don't even have the Comp Lang scroll from last night.
According to the rulez, this is the process:
1) I need to know the spell that I want to scribe.
2) I need 8 hours of rest + 1 communing with my familiar to learn a spell
3) It takes 1 day per 1000gp of scroll that I scribe. It's not clear that that can be cut down for cheaper scrolls, i.e. 41gp of crafting per hour, so a CL1/Lvl 1 scroll takes 45 minutes.
So, to redo the scroll of Comp Lang, I would need to:
1) Go back and talk to my familiar for an hour, learn Comp Lang and the other spells that I want to scribe.
2) Scribe for the day.
3) Rest for another 8 hours, relearn spells for the delve.
I'd like to do that as another scroll of Comp Lang and others might be helpful, however, I suppose we want to get back down.

Yerp.

Dyrant thanks the nice gnome and turns to leave...
...but then spins about to ask one more question.
"Miss Skie, are you sure the vanishing actually happened? We've visited with you and a master gnomish locksmith and neither of you were able to help us much to get into the city. It just seems more likely, having dealt with you and Glim here, that your city went out on a gnomish picnic and the one gnome with the key got lost looking at pretty rocks. Ever since you guys have been locked out of Jzadirune, too embarrassed to admit the truth. Isn't that what really happened?"
It just seems more plausible. Geez...no one has a key?
I post this here as to not ruin your chances with the fair maiden, Glim.
