Shackled City (Pathfinder) - GM_Chris
Game Master
Chris Shannon 719
This will be the Shackled City adventure path using the Pathfinder rule set. However, the existing deities (i.e. St. Cuthbert, Pelor, Wee Jas) will not be converted to similar Golarion gods.
Map is looking good! Like the shadows based on line of sight. Was this map tools? I couldn't find if you mentioned it in this thread.

Seriously great maps. I know it's a lot more work, but it is totally appreciated. Chris you are a master!

I found this map online, but had to do the visuals, etc. Just finished piecing together one of the dungeons from about 30 scans and crops. It's time consuming, but satisfying.
Can't type that without thinking of this recent bit of Conan silliness:

And you come back on with fire.
Well stated. Good post.

I fear Glim's life may be both bright and brief!
Thanks, I'm really enjoying this game - I was wringing my hands all afternoon away from it.
Need... gnome... fix...
If that clock is a mimic and it eats you I will never stop laughing. I will honor your sacrifice but I will laugh the whole time.

If Glim were wiser, he'd be using his shield and hook-hammer. An assortment of shiny locks to distract him may be necessary if any future subterfuge is required.

Well done :)

In true gnomic tradition, you've baffled your own ally.
I'm not sure I should be acting in the first round as I try to make sense of your action. ;)

If I meta-gamed a little more, I may have deferred initiative to Dryant for a tasty Ward hex, but that was just too out of character!

And there it shall stay until something changes.
There is no time limit on it, from my readings so it stays on Finneas until he fails to believe enough in St. Cuthbert.... ;)

Dreamy he is, but I believe the ward's up for re-applying unless I'm overlooking a trait or something special that let's it stay up past the warded target getting hit?

Weird.
Just confirmed with GM Yahoo something weird: on my computer, the post from GM Chris that says "post in progress" never updates though we've had several actions after. So I completely miss Finneas getting pwnd. :(
However, checking it on my iPhone, it shows the update.
Sorry for the confuzzlement. I wonder if this is a new thing with Firefox. Anyone else having this issue?
I'll post soon.

Yeah, I didn't have much else to do from where I was, but I wanted to contribute something. :)
Finneas action resolves
Finneas stands up (move action), embraces his faith in Kord rather than Cuthbert and casts a spell (standard), but does not have time to pick up his sword (another move action).

I have considered going oracle/barbarian/rage prophet, but if we need someone for traps I'll switch to oracle/ranger. We have enough divine magic that I'm not worried about my spellcasting. Thoughts?

I'll keep putting points in Disable Device if nobody else has it.
Just, someone else will need to spot them.

I'll be gone much of today, so if you need to, please just have me swing my cudgel. One hit though and I back up to heal it feeling my own poor mortality. If anyone else is also hit, I'll backup and heal them or channel if I can't reach them.

Semi-Bluff (to convey Glimmil hammered the spike versus is simply telling Finneas he "understands"): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Although I also don't speak Gnome.
