i have a decent idea of how to keep the spellcaster occupied. Between dazing effects and reading spells/wand charges to disrupt spellcasting, I believe I can tie him up for quite a while--maybe even off him in the process.

Question for DM: is there anything saying I can't copy a 3rd level spell into my spellbook, even though I can't cast it yet?

It's more difficult, isn't it? Don't you have to learn it in order to scribe it? Or am I pulling out my baggage from playing D&D for 25+ years?

I can't quite make out what you're saying. It's hard to understand you when you're whining like a little child. Please use your big boy voice.
:)
In all seriousness, I'll drop it. The only reason I brought it up again was your rolling of a six followed by the, "Bazinga".

Odric wants to trade traits, since he quit drinking. I think we talked about this over email... the plan is to trade out Iron Liver for Killer. Can this happen now?

So, what constitutes the "end of the adventure" when our harrow points go away?

I'll do it. I've had success in other PBP campaigns with the following setup:
on Morkeleb's profile, I'll have an "undivided treasure" spoiler, which will include a running total of undividied stuff with resale value attached. As folks cliam items, and/or we split them, I'll keep the list updated as much as possible. If I think an item is obviously going to be used, I won't bother with a resale value.
I suggest we also keep a "group pot" spoiler--but only for items that anyone who needs them, can use, like potions, alchemical items, magic items that are "general use." Stuff we actually *want* to share and have everyone be able to use/know we have, savvy? I'll try to keep who is actually carrying that stuff updated as well, as much as possible

Ok I went through every page and tallied up the xp. I have a google doc posted here
Looks like everyone except for myself is 4391 and I am 3644
Question for DMS. I didn't see any xp for the Taskmaster Also, I didn't see a story bonus xp from between Vallay to the execution. Not complaining just making sure I didn't miss anything.
Odric if your Falchion is masterwork you can take it to a mage and have it magicked keen for his/her price. Unfortunatly I won't be able to craft those kinds of weapons till later levels. Just remember that Keen doesn't stack with Improved Critical Feat, so if you plan on getting that don't take it with the Falchion if it is a Keen weapon.
Ohhh and I found my mistake on a previous post. Items are avail if they are under 8k and then it is a 75% chance.

Mike... that post about the books that I thought I didn't post here it is
Excellent, thank you sir! I must have missed it.
Here is Morkeleb's reply.
Well, sir, I'm glad we can reach agreement here. My issue was your immediately resorting to burning the entire library, before I got a chance to sift through it for useful information beyond the distasteful abonination of necromancy most foul. Note that I have no problem destroying the blatantly foul notes and knowledge. Also note that, even though I find necromancy as an artform distasteful, it is not in and of itself evil--even though many of the spells in the discipline ARE actually Evil. Some of the more innocuous knowledge may well be worth something, in trade or in coin, to practitioners of the art--without necessarily resort to cobbling corpses together!
.
In the future, let us agree to at least examine possible treasure troves of information before immediatley resolving to destory them? Are we agreed?

Chris: Were you able to go through the module and find anything that I missed in XP or mistakes that I made on the spreadsheet.
Everyone: Here is the link to the above mentioned spreadsheet. I like an idiot kept the sheet private. If you would like your name added to the edit list please let me know. I will also need your email addy.

does anyone else think there is anything to be gained by exploring the hulk of theship? It would be an expensive proposition to do an underwater adventure... with possibly little or no benefit.
anyone have any ideas?
