I miss the days of not knowing what the hell is going on. It was kind of cool to legitimately not know what a certain type of magic item did. I guess liked the mystery involved, when all my level 2 buddies and I didn't know what to expect from a level 4 anti-paladin or what a bag of holding was or how it could be used.

Anyway, our characters are cursed with having jaded PCs. Oh well.

I hate to interrupt the 50 Shades of Gaius, but I leave for Canada today. I will not have much in the way of computer access, and I'm pretty sure if I bring a module with me, I might come home in a body bag.... That being the case, however, I do have ONE more big post to make that moves the timeline forward, and not a lot of time to post it.

Can one of you guys do me a HUGE favor and sift through to calculate the date? I can't find it in my notes for the life of me, but the date was posted before heading out to Valay sometime. Reconstructing it from there shouldn't be too bad.

Everyone sum up their vacation in a post. Anything that needs follow up from me can be done either offline or via messaging!

For gallantly helping out the Field Marshal through these tough times, each character receives and additional 416 XP

Does this help?

I propose default marching orders:

Dungeon or other dark place: Sandor, Gaius, Grym & Bucho, Morkeleb, Ferox, Odric
(Put dark vision up front, Morkeleb protected, Ferox back due to ranged attacks)

Well lit place: Odric, Grym & Bucho, Gaius, Morkeleb, Ferox, Sandor
(Meat shield and tracker up front, Gaius and Ferox protecting Morkeleb, Sandor on rear guard)

Outside: Grym & Bucho, Gaius, Odric, Morkeleb, Sandor, Ferox
Tracker and Gaius up front, Fighters guarding Morkeleb, Ferox ranged attacks from the rear)

Dusty street at high noon: All abreast (from left to right): Bucho, Grym, Odric, Ferox, Gaius, Morkeleb, Sandor

Suggestions? Approval?

If it helps to speed things up I am not opposed to Chris grabbing a d20 and rolling stealth and perception checks while he posts. If that doesn't work maybe open up a new tab and post our skill check modifiers and 20 rolls to be used when necessary redo the post and rolls each level

Not sure Odric but if you want a heavy armor meat shield who can track (urban) I am your dude. Plus with a slower move every square helps.

good thought. I can deal with anything... except waiting 4 days to post a marching order.

So default marching order is the same for all situations:
Gaius scouting ahead of the group, then Sandor, Grym & Bucho, Morkeleb, Ferox, Odric.

Any other input? This is not set in stone - just a default if there is ever a question nad it has not been otherwise specified.

Okay, my sick kid is passed out so I just spent my free time going back through the game adding up XP. This is how I counted it.

Gaedran Lamm mission: 587

Guard deserter Verik: 560

Ambassador black mail/Devargo King of Spider mess: 576

AntiPaladin tunnel exploration: 521

Catching Trina: 240

This current mission "Recover dead kid": 548 so far...

So the grand total is: 3032 XP

Third level here we come baby!

You know what's funny? Even after playing Pathfinder for so long, I have no idea what the XP totals are for levels. I could tell you each class/race of Basic edition still, but in PF the ONLY characters I've ever had are Society play. They need 3 XP to level up, and you get 1 per successful mission....

House rule suggestion:
Auto-pilot rule invoked at 24 hours from the last substantive post under normal gameplay.
Auto-pilot invoked after 24 hours from YOUR last post in initiative.

This would mean that at a minimum, each day would include 1 round of combat.

Anyone second this motion? Can I get a "Hell Yeah!" ???
