Having released his rage, Ivar moves a little slower, but walking up to the prone arsonist, "We already have a prisoner." He shifts his axe ready to strike, at the last minute he shakes his head and slams the handle toward the mans temple, attempting to knock him out.

The halfling stops to check if he can hear any trapped person that needs a pint-size heroic rescue before speaking "Where was I? The halfling seems surprised "Wait. Slave lords? Oh mate, I think we dun f*#!ed..." Randy says as he starts going through the different things he stores in his pockets and backpack's puxhes: a half-eaten roast beef sandwich, different kinds of alcohol and finally his holy symbol.

"I should probably keep it showing or something." explains as he puts Cayden's holy symbol around his neck "Ya see? I'm one of his Paladins, me hearty! If I had known you were fighting slavers I would have tried to stop the fight before."

"Now hear me, mate, I'm no imperialist whatever and you can't believe me when I say I hate slavers with a passion, they are just unaf#%@ingmerican. So first, sorry about your pals... Should have shouted the part about slaves before, though. And second, help me help you with those slavers."


Ivar looks from Randy to the man he tied up, "I've no love for slavers. Do we let him go or kill him or turn him over to the authorities? I think death would be kinder than turning him over to the authorities."

He then begins to search the other arsonists for anything of value.

But if he lied to us, that mark will make recognise his sorry ass very easy." the paladin then approachs the arsonist and touched the man's chest as his little hand glows.

We are in open air? What will you feel inside a building or underground? You know there are vasts underground areas all around, which mostly harbor the greatest treasures?
She looks at Malok mischiviously.

The burning warehouse was the Pathfinder one which was being used to prepare your expedition. It had nothing to do with the city government.


The tied up man starts to look perplexed, especially once you heal him.

You head into the warehouse. There's the evident preparations for the expedition and scorch marks on the walls. The people present look rather beat up.

One of them comes up to you and explains that your buddy Gelik was taken by the attackers, the Freemen. (they explained to be rebels opposed to the Sargavan government -it should be noted that the locals who they side with are slave owners as well, so nobody is clean on that score).

A messenger shows up and informs you that the Freeman have your buddy captive at the South Arcadian Whaling Company in New Haliad.

There the Brotherhood’s leader Umagro is calling for the slaughter of foreigners and the overthrow of the government.

is the location of New Haliad obvious or do we need more information or a survival check?

OK, so you folks head for the whaling company site you've been told about.

At the end of Whalebone Lane, on the west side facing the beachfront, stands a large complex of whitewashed stone and brick, easily located by the pungent stench surrounding it.

The compound is walled on all sides, including the beachfront.

What you assume to be Umgaro is on the roof of the flensing house, 30 feet above the ground, holding Gelik at knifepoint and issuing his demands for the abolition of slavery in Sargava to the gathering crowd below.

Well you have a buddy being held hostage. I suppose it depends on how good a buddy you consider him to be.

A Paladin would probably be in a rush to save him, but what do I know?
