Any chance the kukri could be +1 training with Weapon Proficiency (kukri) as the connected feat? ;) I might actually not mind getting the kukri regardless, if no one else has any use for it - it's at least a way to threaten, even if I'm not proficient. I wouldn't mind the headband of vast intelligence either, although it'd just be more skill points for me. And I completely understand if we'd rather just make both of those into money, too, since they're pretty ancillary benefits for me.
I'm fine with Kwesi claiming both...especially as the kukri has a story significance to her. Intelligence is probably a good pickup for her, as the kineticist isn't suffering from that choice for other mental stats right.
Can't use the pearl myself as a spontaneous caster...say that would work for Shearwater though right? If I had to pick something for Dima, I'd say it would be the neutralize poison wand.
I would prefer selling stuff that we don't need, but I'm not totally opposed to making claims based on sentimental reasons. Just as long as one person does not claim everything, and we sell something. I'm the only one who can really get any use out of the pearl of power, so I'll grab that. The wand of neutralize poison could be more useful for Shearwater as well, since I don't know how much time Dima is going to have for running around healing people.
Kwesi, if everyone agrees I think it would be alright to substitute training for keen on the kukri.
Selling gear is also viable here. I'm sure we can arrange a trading vessel to brave the storm and arrive at the enclave at least once before the adventure is over.
Fine with me, I suppose. I'm generally of the opinion that a keen kukri is a keen kukri, regardless of whether or not anyone in the party can use it, but far it be from me to deny Kwesi her Cool Thing.
We could also barter the items, rather than for trade them for money, assuming we want to stick to a more post-apocalyptic feel. I'm sure we're not the only ones who've found Cool Things lying about.
Training just lets you attach a feat to the item via enchant - I'd just be attaching Martial Weapon Proficiency (kukri) to it so I can use it without a nonproficiency penalty. (Which story-wise kind of fits the memories Kwesi has of making it.) But if we'd rather keep it keen that's fine too, and I'll just keep the extended threat range and eat the nonproficiency penalty.

Kwesi, do you have combat stats for your trained animals? Particularly the narwhal, which is currently set to guard you in the open waters.
It's just Bestiary stats for them, since they aren't class features - I'll get links put into my profile.

The target of slipstream is "creature touched," so unless the boat somehow qualifies as a creature, it won't affect the boat.
If at all possible, Shearwater would make sure that he knows roughly where Eryssala is going to be at any given time of the day, so he can reach her by whispering wind when needed. I was writing a related post in the gameplay thread, but the moment passed me by. :S

I haven't taken any burn past what I'll keep as a matter of course, so I'm good to go if everyone else wants to. If we'd rather refresh completely, that's fine too.

Hi all. Hope everyone has had a good week. Just checking in to let you know I'm back from my trip. It will take me a couple of days to get back in the swing of things. One of my games had nearly two hundred posts! I need to catch up as a player, then I'll turn my attention back toward my GM duties, so expect an update from me later this week.
Looks like we're set for a visit to the Ocean's Pearl, then looking to explore the library this evening.
