N'Djamena starts up the ladder, but in a piece of bad luck has one of the rungs brake sending him sliding to the floor. Ayish moves closer and keeps up her song. Larrs moves across the knotted beams with great leaps to stand at the entry to the chamber and bit at the hammer wielding pugwampi only to have it easily duck his attack

starts her ways slowly across the beam as Mamood starts behind her, passing up the gnome but unable to slip past the lion, Xerxzayas moves toward the ladder

Standing in the door Larrs is an easy target but somehow evades the hammer blow, yet can not avoid the arrows 3 hp

Ok ayish I guess is still singing, I moved her close enough to help the folks in the fight however

Xerxzayas attempts to climb the ladder.
Acrobatics 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Acrobatics 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

Mamood continues into the nest, keeping to the rafters if able.
Acrobatics 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Acrobatics 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Male Human Cleric 5

N'Djamena glumly tries climbing again.

1d20 - 2 ⇒ (8) - 2 = 6
1d20 - 2 ⇒ (14) - 2 = 12

Markhet attempts a fast dismount to get behind the warhammer pugwampi to harass the archers behind him.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Okay, that's not going to do it, so Markhet takes a double move, provoking AoO from anyone with melee weapons.

GM

Marlhet keeping to the rafters on the side or simply gonna cross the "floor"?

Across the floor I guess, she's all of 43lbs (including her gear and weapons), if she goes through the floor nobody else is gonna be able to walk across it!

Celena continues her slow walk across the rafters

I think Celena is over-penalizing her Acrobatics checks; the penalty for having a slow land speed only applies to jumping checks, not balancing checks.

Stabilize check 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (9) - 2 = 7

N'Djamena wrote:

Huh? She is not jumping she is walking the beam at the edge of the "chamber" a beam that is covered in knots and bulges of the "nest" making it hard to walk on. As it is hard to walk on she needs to make an acro check, as far as I know she is not jumping. So she is moving her ground speed of 15

GM

Ok Mamood can make the doorway or rip his way though the wall, or even walk the beam to get to an archer. Being the weekend and the norm slow time I am gonna wait to advance this until I hear from Ayish and Mamood or Sunday night , which ever comes first

Female Suli Bard 3/ Wizard 2

Happy with actions, continuing to bolster courage

Celena decides to try a more direct route by going through the paper walls.

GM

Onward then! Oh and I misread Hogarths comments on Celena , he is correct she should only have a -6 or -6 with the shield.

N'Djamena starts to climb the ladder, making it to the balcony, Ayish continues her song, bolstering Allys as Lars reaches out and grabs the hammer wielding puwampi as Celena plows though the "wall" of paper and cloth , running along the beam toward Larrs. Markhet slips from Larrs saddle and starts across the "floor" only to make a few steps before it gives way and tears, she grasps at the flooring only to have it tear away as she falls to the ground 10hp, Xerxzayas close on N'Djamena's heels makes it topside as well, Mamood c easily steps across the rafter as if he were some great blue cat, and rips another Pugwampis head from it's shoulders with his claws

The pugwampi in Larrs grip can not brake the great ats hold as the last archer fires at Mamood in terror, but it's panicked shot goes wide, the one Vrealk wounded, cuts its way though a "wall' and tried to flee

Notes, I used a double move for N'Djamena and Xerxzayas so they could reach the top. I was guessing this was what you wanted. Larrs have the hammer wielder grappled as well

Seeing the small form of the Gnome fall to the floor and land heavily, Ayish's song is interrupted by a gasp of shock and horror.

1d20 - 4 ⇒ (9) - 4 = 5

GM

N'djamena I am unsure which beam you are trying to cross the first broken beam(which needs to be jumped) or the 2nd unbroken beam (has a hole in the floor you can walk around) The first you can reach this round and it takes a jump check, the 2nd you can not reach this round but like most of the beams is wide enough not to need a check. So I am guessing you do not want to try and jump with a -4 if you do not have to, so we'll use the long way and no need for a roll yet

N'djamena runs across the runined balcony headed for the unbroken beam as Ayish runs over and knees before the dazed Markhet, healing pours from her hands with a few arcane words, closing up many of Markhets wounds. Markhet cheers Larrs on as the lion, standing over the bleeding form of Vrealk shacks the pinned pugwampi sinking his fangs into the now shirking creature. Celena strikes at the trapped beats but unluckly catches herself on some of the "wall" throwing her aim off. Mamood leaps at the last archer, crashing though the floor and pluming below to land hard on the floor 4hp crushing the pugwampi beneath him. As Xerzayas makes his way toward the unbroken beam.

The last free living pugwampi runs along the beams looking for an escape. In larrs jaws the Pugwampi drops his hammer to the "floor" and vainly tries to free himself from the lions jaws.

As are now stable! Goblin friend can't do anything I will go ahead and update as everyone else has posted

N'djamena moves across the beam cutting off the last free pugwampi escape rout. On the floor Ayish keeps singing as Markhet yells encouragements as Larrs keeps biting the trapped screaming Pugwampi. Celena again tries to attack but once more unluckly gets entangled with the "wall". Xerzayas lobs another glob of acid at the pugwampi in front of N'djamena but his aim is off and the orb flies into the damaged roof above.

The Trapped pugwampi struggles to free himself from larrs while screaming "You let Mokknokk go stupid cat!" In a high pitched whiny voice as the last pugwampi runs back town the beam away from N'djamena screaming "No kill! No kill!" As he flees from the cleric down the broken beam

Might as well use it; he'll still have two left (plus one spell), I believe.

Unless I have miscounted he has 3 left total + 2 spells. If ya use both this round and the spell that will bring you to 1 channel and a spell

My count: channeled energy three times, then cast True Strike, threw javelin, climbed ladder, cast CLW and channeled energy two more times. That means he used 5 channels and has two left. Are you missing his Extra Channel feat, maybe?

GM

No not the channel, but I counted 14 cha as +1 it seems, so my count was 6 channels not 7. Sigh Ignore me and carry on. Everyone at full health

With the pugwampi subdued Larrs suddenly realizes that he's surrounded by humanoids, and not the good kind like Markhet, He emits a threatening growl (as if to say "my kill! Back off!") and quickly snatches up the dead pugwampi and moves away from the others.

"Larrs," Markhet calls up, "You behave yourself. No eating or scratching Markhet's friends!"

Male Goblin Fighter 1 / Rogue 4

Vrealk opens his eyes to the sight of the large priest standing over him. He feels much better now, and realizes that N'Djamena must have healed him. "Thank you, friend-priest! Me owe you one. Stupid vermin hit much harder than usual rats and bugs, that for sure!" He gets up, and realizes something. "You know, rats and things sometimes collect shiny things. Me wonder if these do, too?" Vrealk begins poking around the nest and on the dead pugwampis, looking for anything of value.

Well they seem to carry no usable item, even the big one (which larrs seems to be eating} had armor, but two small for even you. The hammer he dropped however seemed to be well made and usable by someone gnome or goblin sized.

After crossing the beams and making your way back to the "throne" you find a small chest. Inside the chest lays a golden ring made in the pattens of feathers and a tiny box on a leather cord

As the oppressive feelings from the Pugwampi's fades along with them, Ayish breaths a sigh of relief. She stand quietly upon the floor of the temple looking up ito the rafters and darkness that holds most of her companions, shifting slightly with nervous tension. She looks to Mahket,

"Perhaps you should climb up and help Larrs get back down?" She smiles warmly at the little Gnome.

Just adding a small post to show I'm still engaged. *bows*

Markhet looks up at the balcony and rafters.

"Markhet could never climb up there!" The gnome gasps, "She isn't strong enough, plus after her accident this tiny gnome is terrified of falling again. Perhaps later. Markhet will allow Larrs to feed but she suspects that Pugwampi doesn't taste very good so Markhet thinks that Larrs will soon give up on that."

As if reading the big cat's mind Larrs looks up from his meal, checks if anyone is interested in fighting him for the Pugwampi, and when he sees that no one is, Larrs spits the gremlin out allowing the tiny corpse to fall to the chapel floor. Larrs then comes to the realization that he's trapped in a tree.

"Wrowl," the lion says, sounding more like a big cat then a powerful lion. Larrs is only teenager in lion years after all. He looks down at Markhet, seeming to demand the tiny gnome get him out of this tough predicament, "Wrowl!"

"You gets down the same way you gots up you silly cat!" Markhet calls up.

"Wrowl!"

"Over here," Markhet commands, pointing to the ladder, "Larrs should go over here."

"Wrowl?"

"Markhet says that Larrs is being silly!" Markhet roars, "You heard her! Larrs is big and smart enough to figure this out, after all he got himself up there, so he can figure out how to get back down!"
