Lantern Lodge

Male

Let's talk about the characters we will be taking through the journey as Pathfinders.

Male Dwarf Nerd 15/Engineer 5

Well I have one already made, Tiasar the elven conjurer who I consider my 'main' or my favorite character. I also have Logan Baccus (Captain Baccus) who never got to see action. Also a fire/ice cleric, Drelsh, who's very blasty

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

Ok I'll give it a whirl but I have no idea as far as what is legal and what's not.

Lantern Lodge

Male

I would like everyone to be on the same level if at all possible that way we can go seemlessly to round robin the GM position and all characters are getting progressing at the same rate.

Both of my pfs characters are currently in games, so I will have to start with a brand new 1st lvl character.

Scarab Sages

Noting built yet, just checking in. My two favorites for characters are a bard or a reach fighter/magus.

Lantern Lodge

Male

hey imimrtl we are all here to help.

I will be building a mounted combatant to play the other scenarios. He will be a reach character and will have high utility use through use magic device skill.

Sczarni

Male Half-Orc Barbarian 4

Ok, let's all do level 1 than, to make things easy. I'll bring in my barbarian pirate captain, Logen

Sczarni

Male Half-Orc Barbarian 4

Just realized Logen is level 2. BRB lol

Male Tiefling Magus/Rogue 5

Ok, here is Drelsh, my spell focused fire/ice themed cleric

Scarab Sages

Logen Baccus wrote:

Might want to change those dashes to colons. It looks like you have -4 ac, among others.

Scarab Sages

How did youall get those characters info pages so nice so quickly?

Sczarni

Male Half-Orc Barbarian 4

yaaa, one of my first characters. not the best formatted lol

Male Tiefling Magus/Rogue 5
Choon wrote:

I copy and paste one of my previous characters, changing things as appropriate. Go to my account and look at Yix, he's a good one

Scarab Sages

Too bad I can't copy/paste the code. :P

Scarab Sages

Because I'm going Osirion for my faction and their whole thing is "knowledge is power" I'm gonna go bard.

Now, to archetype or no?

Sczarni

HP 10| AC 15| T 13| FF 13| CMD 11| Fort 2| Ref 4| Will 1| Init 2| Perc 5| Sense Motive -1| -=- Female Gnome Bard (Sound Striker)

I over format my PFS sometimes. Check out the bard's sheet. I will make a Druid of indeterminate style. Bards and Druids rock in PFS because of the versatility, but the need focused types around them.. Huge team players.

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

So is there a niche that hasn't been filled yet?

Grand Lodge

hp 50/50; AC 24, 19, 22 (22, t19, ff 20), fort +7 refl +8, will +12;, bab 4, melee 7 (flurry +4, +4, -1), ranged 6, cmb 9 cmd 26; init +2; ki 6/7, ef 6/6, move 50, 1d8+3+1d4 unarmed dmg; csw 6, clw 35, mg armor 47; wih 46; folio reroll 1/1 | oni-spawn tiefling monk of the four winds 6 / sorceror 1 | -3 *

I created a monk, so we have another semi-fighter....

Lantern Lodge

Male

Please be aware that by August 14th all Lantern Lodge and Shadow Lodge will have to change factions.

Also, is there a particular arc that people want to follow? Such as the Shadow Lodge, the Ruby Phoenix Tournament, The Year of the Risen Rune, the World Wound that is coming out soon.

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

Don't really know enough about any of those to give any feedback.

Scarab Sages

I know nothing about them. I say roll it. :P

Lantern Lodge

Male

Andoran - Freedom and democracy for all
Cheliax - Establish order, no matter the costs.
Grand Lodge - Loyalty to the Decemvirate above all else
Osirion - In the secrets of the past, we shall find today's triumphs.
Qadira - Dominance through trade.
Sczarni - Use Pathfinder missions as a front for personal gain.
Silver Crusade - Use the Pathfinder Society;s resources to do good in the world.
Taldor - Gain control of Absalom through political manipulation and intrigue.

I guess I'll have to change factions already, eh? ah well.. I'll go with Grand Lodge I guess... too bad... was hoping to have fun with the LL.

No special arc in mind here, and I really don't know anything about those.

Scarab Sages

Intit +2 AC 14, T 10, FF 14 HP 9/9 Fort +0, Ref +2, Will +3 CMD 13 Perception +5

Here is the empty shell of choon's Osirion bard. I'll be filling him in as I build.

Male Tiefling Magus/Rogue 5

Well I'm completely focused on casting, 18 wisdom and 10 strength. Ill swing a sword if I need to but I like to keep combat at a respective distance

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

So we have a bard, a druid, a monk, anything else?

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

and a cleric. lol

Grand Lodge

hp 50/50; AC 24, 19, 22 (22, t19, ff 20), fort +7 refl +8, will +12;, bab 4, melee 7 (flurry +4, +4, -1), ranged 6, cmb 9 cmd 26; init +2; ki 6/7, ef 6/6, move 50, 1d8+3+1d4 unarmed dmg; csw 6, clw 35, mg armor 47; wih 46; folio reroll 1/1 | oni-spawn tiefling monk of the four winds 6 / sorceror 1 | -3 *

We don't have a front line fighter? ouch! maybe we can recruit someone?

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

I've been playing lots of magic users so I think I will go tank/front line

Lantern Lodge

Male

I will also be a a front liner when it becomes my turn to play.

Lantern Lodge

Male

Can everyone play the Scenario the Goblinblood Dead or The Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment?

Scarab Sages

So,
-divine caster (cleric)
-Arcane Support/skills (Bard)
-Divine Caster (Druid)
-Combat support, skirmisher (Monk)
-Front-Line (unspecified)
-Front-line (reach mounted)
-Front-line (Barbarian Pirate)

Looks good excepting two things: full Arcane caster and trapfinder. Would the loss of Inspire Courage be too big a thing to drop if I were to go Archaeologist for the trapfinding?

Scarab Sages

Assume I have played nothing. Because I haven't.

Lantern Lodge

Male

CampinCarl9127-Drelsh (Cleric)
Imimrtl-
JAF0- Kenji Nishida (Monk of the Four Winds?)
Choon- Rahsuel (Bard)
Akinra- Amme Wobblecog (Soundstriker Bard)
DaWay- Antall (Dragoon Fighter)

I really hope that when the next season comes out, they allow the drawbacks introduced in the Ultimate Campaign book.

Imimrtl I would recommend a Magus to get a solid damage output and the arcane down.

Male Tiefling Magus/Rogue 5

take out the barbarian pirate, that was mine and i forgot he was lv 2

Scarab Sages

wait, if there are two bards then I can switch to my other character concept (fighter/magus). No use in that much overlap. I'll also switch factions probably, if that's the case. How set are you on the bard, Akinra?

Grand Lodge

hp 50/50; AC 24, 19, 22 (22, t19, ff 20), fort +7 refl +8, will +12;, bab 4, melee 7 (flurry +4, +4, -1), ranged 6, cmb 9 cmd 26; init +2; ki 6/7, ef 6/6, move 50, 1d8+3+1d4 unarmed dmg; csw 6, clw 35, mg armor 47; wih 46; folio reroll 1/1 | oni-spawn tiefling monk of the four winds 6 / sorceror 1 | -3 *
skills:
Acro +10 (+24 jump), Disable +14, Disguise +10, Escape +7, Heal +6, Intimidate +0, Know arcane +4, Perc +10, Prof (cartographer) +8, SM +8, Spellcraft +10, Stealth +6, Survival +4, Swim +7

I have not played either of those scenarios, so both are fine with me.

Lantern Lodge

Ah my bad. So updated list.

CampinCarl9127-Drelsh (Cleric)
Imimrtl-
JAF0- Kenji Nishida (Monk of the Four Winds?)
Choon- Rahsuel (Bard)
Akinra- (Druid)
DaWay- Antall (Dragoon Fighter)

I could make a Magus to take up the slack when it is not my turn to GM. I have one ready to go, who has only 2 xp of credit.

Female Halfling Master Summoner 2 | HP:14/14 AC:13 touch 13 flat footed 11 F: +2 R: +3 W: +3 Per:+2, Init:+2

Nah, I am not playing the bard, just someone said something about too much formatting on the character sheet, and that is my overkill version of a character sheet.

I am leaning towards a Druid, Witch, or Wizard (in that order). Mostly waiting for the outcome of the rest of the party.

Right now we have:

Cleric
Bard
Monk
Fighter
??

once Imimrtl is decided I will make a final decision.

Male Tiefling Magus/Rogue 5

well when I am DM'ing you guys won't have a source of healing (outside possibly some from the bard), so I think a druid is a great idea Arizhel

Lantern Lodge

Male

Let's not forget everyone will probably have their own wand of CLW after the first scenario.

Scarab Sages

Intit +2 AC 14, T 10, FF 14 HP 9/9 Fort +0, Ref +2, Will +3 CMD 13 Perception +5

Ok, he's nearly done. Just a few touchups to do. What's the next step in this process?

Lantern Lodge

looks like you need another trait

Scarab Sages

DaWay wrote:

Yes. As I said, a few touch-ups. :)

Scarab Sages

How do regional languages work in PFS (Kelish, Taldan, etc)? Are those considered separate languages?

Scarab Sages

Intit +2 AC 14, T 10, FF 14 HP 9/9 Fort +0, Ref +2, Will +3 CMD 13 Perception +5

Upon looking at some bard guides, I realize that I need to change some stuff up due to misconceptions on my part. *sigh* This always happens to me...

Edit, 53 mins. later: And, done... I think.

Yes they are. If you are a Human, you get your regional language free. No other race gets the free bonus regional language regardless of where they are from.

You can still learn then via Linguistics as normal, if you like.

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

Well if we have front line people I will go with my ninja I guess. Will work on a concept soon.
