December 26th Update

Meghan leaps into strike, dancing around Unbeaugsam as a pivot, letting the mountain of a dwarf be her attacking point. Her rapier pierces through one of the shoulders of the thieves, who falls to the floor with a painful cry. He whimpers to himself but lets out a yell of surprise as one of his comrades falls dead beside him, one third of his head completely caved in by Unbeaugsam.

Tural is quick to cycle to another eagle into the fight, keeping his distance and the pressure on. However, its attacks are still easily repelled, by a skillful but annoyed thief.

The injured thief begins to crawl away, critically injured and close to death

The thieves each attack their target, some moving in over tables and chairs to reach them.

December 26th Update

I'll message Ryssa tomorrow. Hopefully, a faster pace will get her back soon. I'll bot her next round.

Unbeugasm easily fells the fleeing thief permanently and turns back to see how the rest of his team is doing.

Amboy tries to get the drop on one, but is detected and dodged deftly. Meghan strikes a deft blow, critically injuring one, but he still yet stands, though his limp left shoulder is bleeding profusely. Tural, having created distraction and now in the range of danger, retreats to not be in the line of fire. Taton hurries forward and strikes quickly, but his haste telegraphs his moves and his blows are parried easily.

Most of the thieves turn to fight who are attacking them, and the one flanking Ryssa presses his attack.

Unbeugsam swings his mighty hammer, but the thief dodges, but just barely. Even he seems to be sweating with how close his head was to being cracked open.

Amboy, changing his stance mid fight finds new success in altering his style and wounds his opponent to prove it. He withdraws his blade from the thief's midsection, who then collapses to the floor.

Tural, you can repost. The map shows a new squad of five thieves/thugss who are blocking the way to the kitchen.

December 26th Update

Understandable Taton, pretty much like me and my source materials that I can't haul with me.

The poor thief utters a helpless yelp as Unbeugsam's axe embeds itself in his head killing him instantly. Tural's summoned creature does its best as it sweeps in for two strings of attacks. The first attempt is brushed aside easily, but the thief's relaxed nature is turned against him as a claw embeds itself deep in his face and he curses trying to fight the bird off. Amboy's attack drives home, though the thief manages to not let the blade slip into his innards too fast. Taton attempts a couple blows himself but is fended off with quick feints and a swift dodge. Meghan almost get's a good blow in, but is parried at the last moment.

With the remaining thieves moving up to combat their opponent of choice, they each let loose attacks, each aiming for weak spots and dropped defenses when possible. Some even scramble to flank moving around the combatants to get to the right spot to lunge at a weak point.

Taton continues the latest verse of 'I can't hit for s***' and tries to stab the nearest foe once more.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Of course this time I might actually hit...

December 26th Update

Five more bandits burst from the kitchen. One rushes for Taton but is easily slain by his bladework.

Meghan slays her foe as does, I can't believe, the bird who rips the thief to shreds.

The thieves use their turn to move out of the kitchen, splitting up and going for who they perceive to be the easy kills.

Players up!

Attack Unbeugasm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Tural quickly retreats, returning to the safety of his allies.

Withdrawing

His eagle, blood trailing from its talons, flies forward ferociously at one of the attackers, swiping with a powerful claw at its target. However, its deadly skill seems to have died with the last robber.

I can't move the bird on the map, for some reason, so I just drew a line to where it charges. Not that it really matters, as I have the worst luck when it comes to rolling.

Still bleeding from his wounds Amboy decides against confronting any of the bandits directly.

He grips Taton's shoulder, "I am going to try and get behind them.

With that said he bolts for the bar.

Taton studies one of the nearby assailants but feels that he makes a more deterring target when taking blows vice dealing them. He takes a standard defensive stance.

As the bird vanishes, Tural quietly curses, using the majority of his remaining magical energy to call a final bird from the heavens. He also loads his crossbow, preparing for a more mundane form of attack.

Meanwhile, the summoned eagle cries a challenge at its villainous foes and joins Taton in an attempt to dispatch his foe!
Put a circle on the map for it. While it'll be torn to pieces once the bandits come around, at least it can be a flanking buddy for Taton in the meantime.
