If you aren't full already, I'd like to apply as Ragrimm Thundershield, a dwarven druid. I'm relatively new (about 6 months experience) to pathfinder and this would be my first pbp game so I may have done stuff wrong already.

background:
Unlike many dwarves in his homeland,The Five King's Mountains, Ragrimm preferred the surface to the underground, mainly because of his fascination for storms. The crack of lightning, the rumble of thunder and the raw power behind wind, hail and snow were things that could not be found in some darkened mineshaft. He wanted from a young age to be able to harness this power for himself and spent many years of his life in hermitage up an isolated peak in the Five King's Mountains, communing with the spirits of nature and learning to control the weather. After years of training, he developed druidic magic, similar to that of the dwarven earth-lords of old but with a power over wind and thunder. He now had this power but he lacked a good cause to wield it for. He had heard tales of the orcs of Belkzen, his race's ancestral foes and great defilers of nature and tales of Lastwall, a nation dedicated to driving them back.

He now had his cause, he hopped on a boat across lake Encarthan and enlisted himself in the military in hopes of wealth, glory and perhaps greater power over nature.

If there's still room, I'd like to chime in. I've no PbP experience whatsoever, I just learned how to roll online today. I do have Pathfinder experience though.

I'd play Tolbert of Vigil, a human cleric of Desna, Domains Luck and Travel.

I'd go for a longspear and reach, with Combat Reflexes as my first level feat. Second (human) feat would be Improved Initiative.
Channels would be used to heal the party, spells to buff mostly, though if needed thay can be used to Cure.

Prime attribute Wisdom (18), low attribute Intelligence (8).
Strength: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Dexterity: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Constitution: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Charisma: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Hm, those are way too good. I'll try it again:

Those are too bad, I need some Dex for my idea... Third try:

I'd go with those third stats if nobody minds :-)


Introducing Tolbert.
Tolbert is a cleric of Desna. He's from Vigil in Lastwall and, like many clerics of the Song of the Spheres he got restless barely after finishing his basic instruction, dreaming of the stars and the roads. He's not the learning type, often betting on his luck, which got him into trouble more than once - and also out of trouble more than once. He did even find a holy symbol of Desna in pure gold on the street (if we start with maximized money). When Lastwall's Militia called he carefully weighted the pro and cons of signing - and signed roughly three seconds later. Tolbert relies on his spear to keep his enemies at bay and his good constitution to survive if they still close in. A typical quote from him would be:
Don't worry about those angry scores of orcs running in our direction and crying for our blood, my friends. Desna smiles on me and surely on you also. Lets play a game of dice until they are in reach. Oh wait... you did all behave in church, did you? Offer prayers and stuff? Guys??

Here is my submission

Radhika bears a strong resemblance to her Vudrani mother. She has nothing of her natural father, except the distinctly elven ears that show he is plainly not the kindly man married to her mother. She can't even shoot a bow. And her cousins have not passed up the opportunity to see her disinherited. Rather than stay in Lastwall and have to see their glee and her step-father's sorrow, she has come here to make a new start.

Magic is her solace, magic and Nethys, the God of magic. All they care about is knowledge, and power. She will never be a disappointment to them: they will never cast her off.

Background:
Brother Davco is an adept from the church of Sarenrae. He has been sent to Castle Firrine to help with the healing of the troops stationed there that are holding back the orc hordes from the Hold of Belkzen.

He has received the blessing of Glory and Healing from Sarenrae and found that they are best used on the battlefield.

He has developed a friendship with the soldiers there and they have provided him with some martial skills so that he can protect himself and the wounded while on the battlefield. They have shown him how to wear his armor, use a shield, and strike down foes with his scimitar.

He is currently waiting on orders for the next campaign against the orcs.
