Patricie tells Melaphi that she respects his decision, but that she has more responsibility than just herself.

After the sunlight explanation she adds, "And therefore, if we wait until morning, go in, find that the vampires are too much for us, we can easily retreat into the sunlight. But if you guys want to go into enemy territory when they're at their strongest and least vulnerable, be my guest. Trilby and I will live on to tell your heroic tale." She pauses before continuing, "I want to rescue her as much as anyone else, but dead people can't rescue anyone."

She accepts the whistle, and nods in agreement with Melaphi's advice about using it.

Are you two planning to sleep? If so, are you keeping any kind of watch? Also, do you plan to build a fire, keep a torch lit, or use some other source of light, or just bear with the darkness unless something happens?

"Well you'd better turn in," the cave druid says, "Trilby and I will take first watch."

Fethryth walks out of the keep. She looks like she's talking but no sound is coming out. Out of frustration she starts pulling items out of her pockets and throwing them across the clearing while yelling at the top of her lungs...or at least it looks like she's yelling.

That's a bit premature. Climbing is very slow. I'll try to get an update in to explain what goes down.

In the darkness beyond the little recess Patricie, Payet, and Trilby have chosen for their camp, a pair of glowing red eyes flash. Moments later, a large wolf walks into view, its hackles raised, lips curled back over snarling teeth as it stalked forward. Then a second canine form walked into view. Wolf after wolf stalked into the clearing, forming a semi-circle in front of the opening, all twelve quiet, stifling their usual hunting howls. Their manner can't be mistaken for anything less than threatening and imminently violent as they get ready to lunge forward toward the two aasimars and the bear.

The pretty blonde woman rises from a nearby hiding place. She steps up behind the wolves, placing a hand on one of them comfortingly. Her husky voice carries over the still night air to Patry, a wave of magical compulsion behind it.

Can I use my scroll of Gallant Inspiration to boost Payet's will save? Or does it only work on attack/skill checks?

If I can:

Patricie produces a scroll and reads its celestial words, and Payet briefly glows with a white light. GI: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6

Otherwise:

Patricie swings her quarterstaff at the wolf which wounded her the worst wolf 9; unless it's threatening an ally in which case, a different wolf. Quarterstaff: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Well, two things:
1) it's not on your spell list so you can't use it without a UMD check.
2) casting from a scroll requires a minimum of a standard action, so it wouldn't apply.

1/2 & 1/2 Wolf Wolf 1 AC 14/12/12| HP 13| F +5, R +5, W +1

Trilby leans forward, her great teeth bearing down and snapping the neck of the wolf that inflicted the worst wounds upon it. A powerful swipe of the bear's claw brings down the other wolf the animal companion had already wounded.

The two wolves flanking Payet leave his side suddenly and inexplicably, filling the void left by the two casualties. The bear seems unaware of the new additions, able to fend off all the original wolves it faced but getting bitten by the new ones, one almost managing to catch the beast off balance and drag it to the ground.
