As the party enters the tomb, they find a staircase leading deep into the earth. After some minutes of carefully descending, they find an old chamber of hewn stone, roughly twenty feet wide and forty feet long. Rusted chains nailed into the stone walls still hold hanging skeletons from a bygone era, with cruel hooks and spiked chains indicating that this was once some form of torture chamber. At the far end of the hall lies an iron gate. It is not yet clear what lies beyond it.

Garroth halted his advance at the bottom of the stairs, signaling for everyone to stop. Stood still, only the faint dripping of moisture from the ceiling breaking the silence, he squinted as he scanned the faint edges of the darkness. "Well..." He said, pausing for a moment. "Looks safe enough." He took a few strides inside the chamber, moving the light from his shield around. "Unless this hall is trapped, or those fellows on the walls intend to spring to life, I think we are good."
He looked back at the group crammed into the stairwell behind him. "Refresh my memory, which one of you was it that was good with mechanisms?"

Aurora lets out a small gasp as they enter the chamber, tears cascading down her cheek as she sees the hanging skeletons.
"You poor souls. I promise once this place is cleared of whatever vile thing this tomb is hiding that I will be back to properly lie your bodies to rest." She whispers to herself, the smile vanishing from her face.
"Let us be quick about this. These poor soul's bodies have suffered enough." Aurora intones through a grimace.

@Garroth "That would be me, my pointy toothed friend. Why don't you guys wait here a moment and let me take a look, it will only take a couple minutes". 3 minutes 12 seconds to be exact, by my calculations. Ransaq moves into the room and casts detect magic, then starts searching for traps.

As Orald, Ransaq, and Aurora all crowd around the gate, Melaphi stands some distance back. While the others heave and grunt, Melaphi glances casually around the room. Then something makes him take a second look; it's almost as if he saw...

As the gate creaks unwillingly against its hinges and swings free, the loud clanging of metal continues on for just a moment too long. Glancing back, the party sees the skeletons on the walls suddenly rushing towards them!

With a look of focused rage on his face, orald takes up his banner and axe. As he begins to recite a great epic, you can almost see lines of ancient Ulfen warriors in the distance. In moments they close on you and reach out to touch your weapons. They begin to radiate a faint golden glow.
Each of you has your primary weapon enchanted to +1. If by some means it was already +1, it now has Flaming. Also remember the +1 to hit, damage and fear saves from the banner

Looking around at the proceedings with annoyance and bewilderment in equal measure, Garroth moved to extricate Melaphi from his predicament. "Bah, I knew I should have just smashed them! Some cleric once told me I shouldnt. Disrespectful to the dead or some such. Well next time, forget about it!" The last words were spoken through clenched teeth as he kicked at one skeletons shins.
Im gonna go ahead and assume, given the rooms dimensions and the likely tight formation of the party, that Garroth can take a 5 foot step and attack (He needs to full attack for Flurry of Maneuvers.)

Only managing a glancing blow, the connection was still sufficient to upend the abomination, sending it crashing to the floor. Before the skeleton had even finished its fall, Garroths blade flashed towards another of the shambling undead.

Melaphi blocks the first attack with his shield, ducks beneath another and lets the rest grasp uselessly at his armor.
The thin, nearly invisible, golden tendril of light connecting Melaphi and Ransaq pulses once and Melaphi winces. Nearly surrounded he remains on the defense.
Life link heals Ransaq for 5, deals 5 to Melaphi.
Continue to use full defense.

"Oh well this is horrible! those poor soul." Aurora cries, reluctantly pulling out her morningstar.
She quickly skirts up near Melaphi and swings at one of the skeletons.

Having seen the scenario play out a hundred times before, Garroth was waiting as the skeleton attempted to stand. Swinging his sword in an arch at hip level, he cleanly decapitated the bony monstrosity as it raised itself into the blades path.

Taking another claw on the shield, and dodging several more attacks, Melaphi is to slow to jerk his face back from one and a streak of red appears across his cheek. He lets out a hiss of pain.
He wipes at his face with his free hand, and sees the smear of red when he pulls his hand back. His eyes glow golden for a moment, then suddenly his entire form erupts in golden white flame, except for his hands, which burn an angry red.

Any skeleton successfully striking Melaphi this round takes 1d6 + 2 damage. AC is only 17 this round.

Theater of the mind and all, im not a 100% on whether Garroth can attack two again, but gonna assume so. If not, he will simply move to attack with a regular power attack. Also, I just realized ive been messing up rather badly. Garroths weapon is already masterworked, so wouldnt get a to hit bonus from Oralds +1 weapon ability. Even worse, since he power attacked, he should have had an additional -1 to his trip maneuver, meaning he would only have gotten a 12. I suppose if he had a flank that would go back to 14, but technically, he didn't actually trip the skeleton. Recon however you see fit.
"Fresh outta weapons trainin'?" Garroth said to Aurora as he raised his sword for another swing. "Dont worry, the real thing can be kinda unsettlin'." He added as he swung his blade again.

The golden flaming form of Melaphi reverts back to his true self, and he lets out a chuckle. "Only a few more nasties to deal with." Holding his shield he takes again to focusing on avoiding the skeletal claws.

With a mighty huff of effort, Garroth bisected the last skeleton, ribs and vertebrae bouncing off party members and walls alike.
"Well! That was a good start wasn't it?" He said, leaning on his sword like a cane, his breathing slightly labored. "Good warm up." He sheathed his blade and made his way back to the front, patting Orald on the shoulder as he passed. "Nice upliftin' tale there Orald. Really brings out the best effort. And that banner." He tugged at the cloth. "You sure it aint magic? Was mighty inspirin'."
Back at the front, he turned to Melaphi with a wicked grin. "Too bad you cant give it as well as you take it Melaphi. Quite the warrior you would be then. All the same, lets see if we cant pursuade the next ugly monster to have a go at me instead eeh?" He winked at Melaphi as he turned back towards the gate with a chuckle.

"Ever been in an ambush?" Garroth asked, as he made his way cautiously through the gate. "Its not that great when you arent expectin' it, but when you are...Oh boy, the look on the ambushers face when you are ready for him, pure gold."
Giving everyone another few moments to get ready, he then proceeded forward. "Nice and slow does it now."
