"I reckon I could get a job in the kitchen." Garroth said, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "I can cover my armor up with a fake pot belly, stove my weapons in a bag. Id be able to come to your aid fairly quickly then." He smiled. "Best of all, they wont likely get to see me, bein' in the kitchen. Even so, I shall try to arrange for my work day to begin shortly after the meetin' is set to happen. I wouldn't put it past them to case the whole place beforehand."

Garroth, you'll need to make that diplomacy check to get an interview first.

Fethryth enters the tavern. A few questions to the bartender and she's given a room number; not many people travel with a bear. She knocks on the room's door twice then opens it. Seeing her companions she nods at them before starting to talk. "I cannot believe these people. First they're taxing everyone, then they're rounding up half orcs and that oversized walking tin can nearly cuts me in half." She lifts up her shirt to show her bandaged side. "I went through all of my aunt's healing potions fixing that wound. What is this city coming to when you can't walk down the street without someone trying to chop you in half?" she rants.

"It wouldn't be an exciting place to live without blood thirsty warriors walking the streets." More seriously he adds, "You needn't have used your grandmothers healing potions, and judging by the amount of blood in that bandage I wonder if they haven't expired. Let me help with that."

Melaphi will heal and or life link plus channel to get everyone healed back up. I'm assuming this is a non-issue as we have two days till Wednesday, and everyone will be back to full health and spells.

With Feth joining the gathering Melaphi fills her in on the latest details. "You feeling up to some discreet snooping about or observation?"

As Melaphi continues to exchange missives with Crystal throughout the evening plans begin to form and roll around in his head.

"Sounds like everyone is on board to go forward with this?" Despite his cheery demeanor during the evening as he exchanges notes with the woman, his talk with his companions is of a serious tone and nature.

"Here is my thinking. We need someone able to watch the outside entrance from the third floor, and someone able to watch the windows of the private dining rooms. When I first enter I shall cross to the window to signal which room we are in. If she has any others in the room with her I will indicate it by turning my head to look back at her once for each person besides herself, before moving away from the window. If she is alone I will simply walk away from the window after gazing out a moment."
This might be the same person depending on where the windows and the stairs are?

"Oh, and of course someone to watch the ground floor entrances from either inside or out."

"Likewise, if I spot any of her friends in the tavern itself while heading upstairs, I shall brush one hand across my brow before turning away from the window."

"While Payet should be safe enough in the casino, anyone else they know would want a disguise if they intend to be inside somewhere, or a long hooded cloak pulled over the face sitting down in the common room."

"Most of the team should probably arrive well ahead of time, by a few hours minimum, if not morning or early noon."

"Tomorrow I'm going to stop by an alchemist shop and pick some some antiplague and antitoxin. Last think I want is to be carried out of there with my muscles paralyzed, or so weak I can hardly move."

"But now here is where things get interesting. If her pet wizard shows up, I should like to see the fiend unmasked, and left for all present to behold. There is something dark and loathsome beneath that covering. How we manage that, I don't know, either the opportunity will present itself, or it may not. Thoughts? Alterations to this scheme? Additions?"

"And if there is trouble, where do we group together so as not to find ourselves scattered and outnumbered individually?"

I read the description slightly wrong, the casino is on the third floor, so it won't be a private dining room, but rather a private booth of sorts on the casino floor.

"We should regroup on the ground floor if anythin' goes wrong." Garroth said matter-of-factually. "Lots of people around, and we can decide where to go from there.

He smiled wickedly at the next. "As for old spooky, if I can get my hands on him he wont be going anywhere. Gettin' that mask of will be about gettin' me close to him." He cracked his knuckles loudly as if to cement the certainty of his statement.

Garroth is unfortunately unable to acquire a position, with the manager citing two new hires in the past day alone. He does tell Garroth that he is free to audition for a performance gig in the common area, where skilled performers often make a week's wages in a single night.

"No luck." Garroth said with a scowl as he returned to their appointed meeting spot, kicking his boots of angrily and sitting down to scowl. "Two new hires just the other day, what are the odds?" He sat for a moment, fuming, before his brow suddenly rose in realization. "You dont suppose that could be them? Doin' the same thing we are doin'? I mean it really is weird timin'"

He shrugged, as if dismissing the idea, though he didnt say as much. "At any rate, I think ill just wait with Patri nearby then. How will we be alerted to come for you if somethin' goes wrong after your little window mime?" He pondered his own question a moment. "Flynn used to use this little magic trick with me, called it a Message spell. Did what it said on the tin alright." He looked at the other three spellcasters. "Dont suppose any of you got somethin' like that?"

Stood behind Feth, up against the wall, tugged against a support beam but not making much other effort to be inconspicuous, Garroth kept watch, scanning the streets as much as the appointed window where Mel had been stood several minutes ago. Patiricie enters the tavern where Feth and Garroth are, and sits down next to Feth. "Sorry I'm late," she wipes some slobber off her shoulder, "I had a hard time telling Trilby to stay in the alley. We don't separate very much..." It's clear she's tried to look less conspicuous, having stuffed her full copper locks into an unassuming brown hood, and was actually wearing shoes...well, sandals, but footwear all the same.

Feth is only just able to see Melaphi in the casino, as the window does not offer a spectacular view. She does note, however, that the windows seem fixed in place (not the opening kind) and are too small to exit given the wooden cross-bars. It seems unlikely Melaphi would be able to use them for a hasty escape.
