Tribim found the corpse bore only well-made leathers, with an eight-pointed star on the breast, and a silver ring. Nothing about it appeared to be magic, though each of the slabs showed the emanations of conjuring Art.

I was sort of waiting to see if anyone else wanted to do anything...

'Hhhmmmm, an eight pointed star, I wonder what it means.' Trib calls back to Regin Ald, "There's a nice leather armor here with a star on it, an' tha slabs emanate conjuring magic."

ZuCo has seen that star before. It's on Kassu's ring. :)

Tribim knows the eight-pointed star as an emblem of the Stargazers. Officially, they sought to recover lost glories of Unther and return them to their proper place of honor. Most take them as an organization of tomb robbers with pretensions to history. He vaguely recalls their being active about fifty years ago before becoming embroiled in some scandal. He thinks they plundered the wrong tomb and either carried out a curse or brought the hard hand of Gilgeam down on them some other way.

Regin knows that the eight-pointed star is an occasional motif in Untheric religious art, usually associated with the heavens in general rather than a particular god.

Looking at the statue, Tribim notes right off that it sits loose on its stage; a strong person might even push it over. It doesn't show any tripwires, hidden catches, or other signs of danger when he checks. His spell shows no magic about it.

Zummabu's Company chose the southern hallway and found themselves between two niches in the walls. Each held numerous fixed pegs that looked of the sort to hold tools, all now unadorned. Ahead of them, the tunnel descended a flight of stairs. After only a few feet, the stairs vanished beneath a still pool of water.

with your permission Samnell, he will take 20 (28) on perception inspecting where the statue stood and right behind it.

Tribim saw some scuffing on the stage, roughly in line with where the skull-crushed body still floated above the one slab, but the stage and walls were otherwise unremarkable.

Pointing from the scuffing toward the body floating above the slab, Tribim, thinking out loud, as much as asking a question to the others "Do you's think that the statue here whacked tha stargazer and put him there first? Or did the stargazer lay down for a nap and then the statue whacked him?" Shrugging his shoulders, Tribim, starts to move out of the room. "Guess it don't make no never mind either way."

Turning to his Namtar, "It looks like the room with the bugs is our next destination. Do you have anyway of killin' em?" Smiling broadly, as he starts fishing out his two flasks of acid. "I mean other than those giant elephant feet of yours."

Amarekashu, I assumed we were taking everything of value, not sure if the statues scroll is worth anything or not.
