Round 4
This time the earthen Warhammer connected, bringing all the Dommer's strength with it. The eyeless man staggered, blood gushing from his new head wound, but refused to fall.

Seeing things well in hand, Arundel turned to the bodies of the fallen. He finds their bodies marked by patches of scalelike scars, occasionally embedded with bits of glinting stone. Their only clothes are close fitting, snakeskin breechclouts and smocks.

As the elf looked at the bodies, Regin struck and added the last man to their number...just as Tribim suggested keeping him alive for questioning.

The cave proved disappointingly bare, boasting only rocks, dust, and the usual. He found a few spots where it looked like someone had cleared spots to sit, but nothing of any value.

I was being rather facetious in the discussion thread, because banter is fun, but really I'd be OK with going blind and having hands on shoulders or something. Having the light be there but further back means we still stand out to the bad guys, but we can't see them - like a window at night, I'm guessing that even though the lights only illuminate 40ft, the light would be visible to those in the darkness for a larger area than that. The other option would be to have Dommer scout out the noises and report back, but I'm not sure how comfy we are with that idea, since he isn't trained in stealth, though he does have the owl aspect available for a +4 to stealth.

Or we could just go along with the lights, and trust in our awesomeness to deal with whatever nasties try to get the jump on us. That could be fun.

Light in the darkness would be visible from very far off, assuming a clear line of sight. The tunnel's a bit windy so it's not a pure matter of giving the opposition all week to prep, but they would have lead time if they got a straight shot.

Gay Male Inhuman

Resolved all of this before realizing I didn't have Arundel's action. Ordinarily I would wait, but since the fight basically ended before he got to go again it all works out the same and the thing was already written, so may as well move ahead. :)

Round 3
Namtar locked his bulging arms about his foe's arms, pinning them to its sides as he slammed his forehead into the brute's nose, crushing it. Blood rained down his face and Namtar laughed in the sheer joy of being physical and reveling in the strength of his mighty thews!

"The Father of Victories will smile on us this day as I give to him this offering of glorious battle!"

'lets see if we can't give Regin Ald some help with the dog.' Tribim tapped Regin Ald on the leg as the tumbled past. "Keep him distracted, I'll lop of his tail." As Tribim tumbled past the dog he ejected his dagger from the spring loaded wrist sheath, landing behind the dog he slashes at the tendons in it's legs. The dog's life bled out in seconds.

Dommer steped forward and once again an infusion of pure earth formed on his hands, taking the shape of a dwarven Warhammer as he lets it go on the closer dog. Once more, his strike flew clear of the dog entirely.

Regin pivoted and moved around Arundel's grease on his now wounded leg, bringing his mace down on the other dog's head. fell dead to the ground.

Regin's intended target was dead.

An instant later, Amarekashu burst forward with inhuman speed, dashing open the skull of the eyeless man that Namtar held fast. The ledge fell silent.

'Well the spring loaded wristband worked well.' Wiping the blood off of his dagger on the dead dog, Tribim reloaded his wrist sheath winking at Regin, "It's nice when tha gear works tha way it's supposed to." Then whistling a happy little tune, moving his fairy lights around he inspects the room and then the ledge, lowering the lights to there length to try and find the bottom.

Trib will take 20(27) on perception for the room and the ledge, his lights will go down 100 ft.
