Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

Garhan isn't looking well...He isn't sure how long either of them will last...

Attack Roll:
1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 = 9

1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Woden prays that Garhan will be okay...

CHP: 1/12

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

Welp. Dimly, Gird wishes that she could go on a spirit journey like Omelet. It seems so much nicer than bleeding to death...

Stay alive, damn you! roll:
1d20 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) - 2 + 1 = 1

CHP: -2/11
Welp.

ROUND

Secret Rolls:

Boar3 Attack Roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Boar3 Damage Roll: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

21 Gird:
Gird continues to bleed out, mumbling something that no one can quite make out or understand.

18 Boar:
The Boar leaps and knocks Garhan in the face, causing the Tiefling to collapse and fall to the ground coughing and bleeding like the rest of them.
The pig snorts again before turning its head in the direction of Woden, and its eyes narrow.

15 Oomlowt:
Oomlowt is still unconscious.

15 Garhan:
Garhan coughs up a little blood, and begins to die.

7 Woden:
Woden stares in shock, and the arrow he was preparing to fire misses by a long shot as a result.
Everything is going wrong so fast. The Stolen Lands really are living up to their reputation...

Updated Map

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

Woden looks around at his fallen friends, their bodies bleeding profusely. He looks down...Maybe he should run away with Calanthe? Live to fight another day....

"..No! I have lived for over one hundred years. I have lived a good life. And in all my years on this land, these companions of mine. Were some of the bravest souls I have ever had the privilege to journey with. And you, you monster, will die one way or another!!"

An unrivaled fire in his eyes burns as he knocks back, perhaps, his last arrow. Ready to fire.

"Know this beast, whatever may happen, I will not flee. I shall stay. I AM WODEN CERNNOS!! AND I AM A WARRIOR!!!!!!

He lets loose the arrow.

Attack Roll:
1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 2 = 24

1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

CHP: 1/12

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

And we were doing so well... Gird bemoans the fact that the last thing she'll have done is dedicate a missing blow to a dog. Hey, Erastil, you big bastard, wanna help one of your chosen few here? And why are guppies getting wobbly?
...it's for the best that we stop listening to Gird now.

Well, things sure aren't looking good right now roll:

1d20 - 3 + 1 ⇒ (8) - 3 + 1 = 6

CHP: -3/11

ROUND 10

Secret Rolls:

Garhan Stabilization Roll: 1d20 + 1 - 6 ⇒ (10) + 1 - 6 = 5

21 Gird:
Gird drifts closer to death, and she begins to slip into incoherency.

18 Boar:
The boar stumble towards Woden, its eyes ready to finish what it started. It stops in front of the elf and pulls its head back to swing with its tusks.
It was going to kill this intruder, and there is nothing the filthy creature could do about it.

15 Oomlowt:
Oomlowt is unconscious, but so far he'll live.

15 Garhan:
Garhan is bleeding out on the ground, his eyes glazed over in pain. Calanthe is getting antsy about whether or not she should risk running over to him.

7 Woden:
Woden slays the boar in a fit of heroic divergence.
This fight is over.
But his companion's battles are still ongoing.

Updated Map
Derp derp, Garhan's CHP is -7.

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

1d20 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (14) - 4 + 1 = 11

CHP: -4/11

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

The beast falls, Woden doesn't have the time to revel in his victory but rushes over to his comrades. Garhan seems to have the worst of it right now.

"Hang on Garhan, the boars are dead now. Don't you dare join them!!"

Unsure of proper first-aid, Woden tries his best to stabilize Garhan.

Heal Roll:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

CHP:1/12

Woden:

You have successfully stabilized Garhan.
You are now the lord of your domain, and all of your subjects are unconscious on the ground.

Now, I'm sure you are all excited for XPs!

XP Rewards:

Your battle against the boar has granted you 200 XP each.
This brings each of you up from 276 XP to 476 XP!
Sometimes, almost being gored to death by angry boars can really pay off.

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Oomlowt's body desperately tries to recover!

Trying To Heal Roll
1d20 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) - 4 + 2 = 0

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

Gird attempts to regain consciousness. Wish her luck.

1d20 - 4 ⇒ (7) - 4 = 3

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

Luckily Garhan is stablised and not, you know, bleeding to death thanks to his good man Woden.
It would still be good for him to wake up, if he can muster enough strength for that.

1d20 - 7 ⇒ (13) - 7 = 6

Calanthe, seeing the battle end, slowly moves up to investigate all the unconscious heroes.
Looks like the elf did a pretty good job not falling unconscious.

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

Relieved to see Garhan in stable condition, he turns to the next dire situation. Gird.He can see her desperately trying to regain consciousness. He rushes to her and begins to apply first-aid again.

Heal Roll:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

CHP: 1/12

Woden has successfully stabilized Gird. She no longer has to roll to keep from losing hit points.
Oomlowt is still in danger of dying.

And hour has passed again, the sun is beginning to dip, and Woden's keen ranger senses tell him that it will be nightfall soon.

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

Garhan's desire to wake up perks up again, clockwork-precisely.

1d20 - 7 ⇒ (13) - 7 = 6

...It looks like his desire is pretty weak.
Maybe he's dreaming about something nice?

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Kobolds, being well known for their physical prowess and durability, can- oh, gods, he's preety screwed, ain't he?

Kobold Biology Tries Really Hard! Roll
1d20 - 5 + 2 ⇒ (19) - 5 + 2 = 16

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

Turns his attention to Oomlowt next, him having been the first to fall. Once again Woden tries his hand at healing.

Heal Roll:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Unfortunately, his luck is not so good this time around.

CHP: 1/12

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

Gird attempts to regain consciousness. Wish her luck. Again.

1d20 - 5 ⇒ (4) - 5 = -1

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

Gird attempts to regain consciousness. Wish her luck. Third times the charm?

1d20 - 5 ⇒ (12) - 5 = 7

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Oomlowt groggily opens his eyes. Kobold biology came through after all!

"Hey Woden," he said as the elf came into view. "Did everyone make it?"

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

Garhan is totally working on this waking up thing, honestly! He's just having such sweet dreams!

1d20 - 7 ⇒ (18) - 7 = 11

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

Woden begins to set up camp, laying out bed rolls and such when he ears Oomlowt's voice. His look and voice quickly became very sullen.

"....Almost everyone Oomlowt, I could save Gird and Garhan but...I'm sorry..."

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

Gird attempts to regain consciousness. Wish her luck. This could take a while.

1d20 - 5 + 1 ⇒ (20) - 5 + 1 = 16

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Oomlowt's breaths became labored. "Yeah, I know Woden," he said. "He was beyond help before I fell." The kobold felt like he should say more, but for once the words weren't coming to him. "...Thank you for saving us," he finally said before falling into a broody silence.

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

Gird slowly opened her eyes. Pain, pain everywhere! Groaning, she raises her self to a sitting position and looks around blearily.
"What happened? Did I kill it? Looking down at her chest, Gird snarled.
"And who bandaged me?"

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

Nods at Oomlowt, knowing he must feel horrible right now. His attention then turns to the newly awakened Gird.

"I did Gird...the bandaging and the killing that is.."

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

Finally, the tiefling opens his eyes, and smiles briefly - he seems to have been having good dreams.
But as Garhan wakes up and the realisation of being gored earlier hits his consciousness, he lets out a very displeased groan.
Garhan hears the others' voices, and as he pushes himself into a sitting position, he regains his earlier smile.
"Ughhh... Hey, everyone, you're alive!"

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

Was he claiming HER kill? Gird's nostrils flare, but she forces herself to calm down. Last thing she needs is to bleed out. She can... discuss things with him later.

"Right then, Pretty Boy, guess we're even. Is that the boars cooking?" Gird looks about, seeing if the others are awake. "Oh, did the dog make it?"

Gird never will discuss it with Woden. She just has hunting issues.

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Oomlowt looked at Gird, his eyes huge and puffy with tears. He couldn't vocalize a response, but the almost comically exaggerated sadness etched on his reptilian face spoke pretty loudly on its own.

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

Garhan's earlier smile changed into a saddened expression as he saw his reptilian friend all teary eyed.
"Oomlowt... I'm so sorry..."

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

Gird looked at Omelet. Woops. Need to work on social skills.

Moving her bedroll closer to the kobold's, Gird awkwardly clasps his shoulder. "Sorry. Woofles was a good dog."

CHP: -5/11

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Oomlowt nodded at Gird and Garhan before wrapping his arms around his chest and ducking his head in between them. It was the closest he could get to curling into a ball without reopening his boar wounds. "Good dog," he whispered, "Best friend."

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

Garhan bites his lip. He really wanted to do so much more than just say something to Oomlowt... But what could he do?
Without thinking much about it, Garhan tilts over to Oomlowt's bedroll and hugs the kobold.

And hoping his steaming hot body won't grill Oomlowt or anything.

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

Cooking the boar over the readily made campfire.Looking back at Oomlowt.

"Woofles was the best damn dog I have ever seen Oomlowt. And that he sacrificed himself for you, shows the greatest bond anyone could ever hope to achieve...He wanted you to live on."

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Oomlowt blinked as the tiefling embraced him. What was this gesture called again? Kobolds did not have a word for it. It was some sort of body heat sharing maneuver, right? It certainly felt very warm. The kobold wasn't sure why, but he felt the move conveyed some sort of affection. Probably best to reciprocate the emotion.

"Thank you Garhan," Oomlowt said.

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

Garhan patted Oomlowt's back and sniffed - he almost started shedding manly tears over this tender moment - before he let go of the kobold.
His skin hadn't really burned anyone in a long time, but he didn't want to risk it.
"Woofles... Was one of the greatest heroes I ever met."

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Oomlowt smiled. "Woofles was a fine dog. Very well bred, strong, obedient," the kobold's mind drifted to their recent battle, "...Loyal. A fine dog."

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

The boar cooking finely, Woden turns back to Oomlowt hopefully to cheer him up by devouring his nemesis.

"If you want Oomlowt, I have that bastard boar on a pike. Ready to eat."

Female Half-Orc Level 2 Paladin

Gird lays back down on her bedroll. She isn't even hungry; if anything she feels sick. "I'm going back to sleep, alright? Just leave me some meat, I'll be fine. Not in the mood for eating." Gird lays there, trying to find a good position before drifting off.

CHP: -5/11

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Oomlowt looked at Woden in amazement. How did the elf know of the traditional kobold grief ritual? His friends were truly exceptional!

"I would like that very much!" he replied with a toothy grin.

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

Garhan changes his position from a legs wide open sitting position to hugging his knees, to give his body better support. He'd like to go back laying down, but he's also hungry, and it's always better to eat sitting than laying.
"Wow, did you cook all three boars already, Woden? I'd like some, too."

Sneakily as ever, Calanthe finds her way to the side of Garhan's bedroll - where has she been anyway? Checking the area around our heroes' camp, maybe - and lays down on the ground.

CHP - -7/10

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

"I had plenty of time to cook while you were all unconscious."

Rips off two legs from the very boar that killed Woofles and handed them to Garhan and Oomlowt.

"Here you are, the least I could do!"

CHP: 1/12

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

On that night Oomlowt tasted revenge. And it was delicious.

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

"Thank you!"
Garhan thanked Woden politely, took the large boar leg into his hands and started eating it, first as cleanly as he could, but as Garhan kept eating he realised how hungry he was, and in the end his eating wasn't clean and tidy at all.

CHP - -7/10

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

Not wanting to feel left out, and still in pain, Woden helps himself to a leg as well. Leaving enough for Gird, as she asked. And Woden ate heartily.

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

After Garhan's done eating and cleaning himself up, a question pops up in his mind.
"Hey, Woden... When you skinned the boars, were you able to skin them without damaging the hide?"
Thinking that his question might sound odd, Garhan decides to elaborate.
"If there is some undamaged hide left, I could make shoes out of it."

Male Elf Level 1 Ranger

"Hmmm, I was able to keep the hides mostly intact. I often had to skin hides to make money so I have experience. They're right there."

Woden points to a pile of the boars skinned hides, a coule feet from the fire.

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

"Oooh, that's impressive Woden!"
Garhan exclaims with gleamy eyes.
Garhan had witnessed a fair shair of sheep and goat skinnings himself, but as a herder he hadn't had to participate in the process too much himself.
"I can defenitely make some shoes from those, to all of you as well if you're interested."

Male Kobold Rogue Level 2

Oomlowt looked at the pig skins in between his sloppy chewing of the boar flesh. "I'd kinda prefer a cape," he said.

Male. Tiefling. Level 1 Witch.

Garhan looks at Oomlowt, then at the boar skins.
"I think a cape could be possible too."
