Mardakine- A Brelish settlement of Cyran refugees that does not want to believe the Mournland will stand for to long. They wait for signs of there former home healing itself to help restore her former glory. Mardak the dwarvan mayor and founder of Mardakine.
The town is actually in a huge crater, and the land around them is dry, barren and worntorn. Many of the oddities and twisted undead that lurk within the gray-mists, attack the citizens from time to time. Hunting game is rare due to the strange errie unsettling of the area. The citizens of Mardakine are grim-hardened folk.
Mournland- Formly known as Cyre, the city of Making was the headquarters of House Cannith and their makers. As far as anyone knows none of the head of house were in Cyre on the day of Mourning. The gray-mist domes the whole nation of Cyre's border. Many areas of the Mournland have bodies lay on the battlefield with no signs of decay. Living spells roam the counrtyside looking to affect any living creature with thier effects. Many relic hunters raid the Mournland for magical items that were forgotten in the chaos. Danger lurks with every step taken deeper in this cursed land, many have gone in the lucky few ever leave the gray-mist.

Well let me welcome and thank you, you all to my world of Eberron. I will post the opening of the game on Sunday evening after I get off from work. So be looking for that, also your welcome to peek in on my other game to see my style of DMing. If you havnt already.

You all have arrived in Mardakine for differnt reasons,as if you were drawn here by fate.Life here is gloomy and grim, but the people make the most of what they have. As of late( past two months) strange things have happened. Poeple have gone missing then found torn to shreds by some creature that eludes the justicar,Kandler and his partner Burch (a shifter). More citizens begin to worry that Mardakine is no longer safe to live in. Mardak (a male dwarf and founder) asurres everyone that it is safe and not to wander the town at night.

currency in Eberron:
copper = crowns
silver = sovereigns
gold = galifars
platinum = dragons
I do use these value names in game.
It: When you arrive in Mardakine your skills as a blacksmith catches the eye of Rislinto the local blacksmith hires you to help him with making tools and weapons the town needs to protect and farm.

Vajra: you notice another shifter in town and you befriend him. You assist Burch and Kandler in defending and fending off raiders and creatures that attack the town.
Kalas: You try to convince the mayor Mardak that having an outpost by your house an improvement of the town. But his constant refusal runs you impateint.
Varahk: Given the signs and portnets that a storm coming on the horizen, with an evil that has lead you here. You assist with the livestock and illness that befalls the townsfolk.
You all met and were put up in a house that was built by the townsfolk for visitors.

Also, DM, I was wondering if I could swap out the Tiger Claw discipline (which ironically is a very poor choice for my Dex based shifter), for the Anima River Martial Discipline found here.
It looks pretty balanced, other than this one level 9 ability, which we probably won't get to anyway. :P

Not at all. Many others seem to like the way I set up my status lines and all so take what you need. That's how I came across the idea as it was.
