On alignment: I can change my alignment to lawful evil if it would work better. I only picked up neutral evil, because he's a div-spawn tiefling and it qualifies the character for the Souldrinker PrC past level 6, which sounds all sorts of fun. Gaining a Cacodaemon familiar is pretty nifty and the fluff aspect of being able to turn those recently dead into soul gems that when consumed by an outsider damns their soul to the lower planes (Hell) is nice and juicy.
It would be most amusing to not only slay the forces of good, but deny them an eternity in a peaceful wonderful afterlife by damning them to an eternity of torture and pain in hell instead.
Dedicate your life to peace, helping the infirm, and running an orphanage? Too bad you're going to hell for all eternity anyways.
Otherwise I'll simply go the Diabolist PrC which is probably more powerful and fits better into the theme of the campaign.
In any case I'll be playing him closer to lawful evil rather than closer to chaotic evil. If the PrC isn't allowed or it would fit better he can simply just be lawful evil.
I am fine with whatever PrC you would like Vladimir.
As for submissions: I will be closing submissions when I get home tomorrow (roughly 24 hours from now), and choosing people within the next day. Now to check out submissions and tell everyone if they need anymore.
Also, forgot to mention one personal caveat. While you are villians there are certain things I'd rather not delve into, and I'm sure there are others who will have different levels of squeamishness. If anyone gets in and feels uncomfortable with a scene, I'll ask to close it, and we will close the scene. This means the actions still happened but we'll be avoliding the... messy details.
Here is my gunslinger. Reposting my little background blurb from the profile for ease of reading.
Background:
They took everything from me. Those damn Darius clowns took it all, leaving my family in ruins, our once good name thrown about in the dirt like a stray dog. How could we live like that? We, the Aumarch clan, who had once been high nobles in this country? The only answer my family could find was this: we cannot. So, we journeyed across the sea, finding ourselves amongst new peoples. At first, the histories say, our lives were difficult, lashed with the same misfortunes that had plagued us in Talingarde. We may have lost ourselves there, if not for faith in our words, our motto: "Toward the New Path". It is said that my great-grandfather found the recipe for black powder on accident. That is the rumor. We in the House know it to be no rumor, however. He made a pact, one created from hate, blood, and fury. With these elements, he summoned up hellish beings, from whom he took the knowledge to create black powder, and how to craft a weapon more destructive than any seen before. He created a new weapon, something that would someday allow us to return home, triumphant, and take our revenge upon that damned House Darius.
He created the gun.
For years he experimented, finding exactly the right combinations of elements to make the most stable powder possible. He died before he could finish the weapon to use it to best effect. His notes have been scattered to the winds now, but we still make use of his last version of the weapon.
It is that weapon that I intended to use to assassinate the King.
The bribes had been made, the roof cleared of its guards. I had the perfect shot, the utmost best conditions to blow a hole straight through the traitorous Darius crown, along with the head that wore it. What happened, however, was not what I planned. So much time training, so much effort smuggling the materials into the country. Even the sacrifices I had made to the Seven Lead Devils, those mercurial creatures from the Hells that are said to have blessed our House with the knowledge of our new birthright, was for naught. The shot went wide, striking the gleaming shield above the king's throne. My weapon jammed, and with no other weapon but a dagger, I had no choice but to flee.
The city streets were already resounding with church bells proclaiming the alarm by the time I left the palace grounds. Little wonder that I was dodging guards as soon as I found the streets. As I ran, I found myself thinking about what could have caused such a malfunction in my weaponry. I kept the gun immaculate at all times. How could it have misfired on me at the very moment I needed it most? I found the answer when I returned to my hideout.
The captain of the guard was waiting for me, smiling like the oafish pig that he is. Shackled at his feet was my accomplice, Jureth, the conniving weasel who had gotten my equipment and me into the city. The bastard had obviously double-crossed me, and now he was going to pay the same price that I would. At least I tried to fight back, unlike that coward. I killed one guard, and injured at least two more before they could fully accost me. The last words I heard before they placed the bag over my head were these: "Rest peacefully in Brandescar, traitor. You'll be drawn and quartered the very day you arrive!"
Ekemonis Iadris, male Oni-Spawn Tiefling Qinggong Monk LE
Traits: Infernal Bastard, Kidnapper
Focus: Str, Weakness: Cha
Background:
Born into a minor noble family, Ekemonis Iadris caused quite a stir; the scandal of a child with minor but obvious signs of tainted origins brought shame to his mother, who killed herself when he was still learning to walk.
Lord Iadris couldn't bare to have Ekemonis in his presence and it was quickly decided that the cursed boy should be sent away, and a remote monastary was found that would raise the boy, after receiving a generous donation from the Iadris treasury.
Life for Ekemonis was not easy; the normal people, when he visited local villages, would sneak looks, point, and stare. Eventually Ekemonis began filing down his small horns, and took to wearing a hooded robe, to hide his nature.
Lord Iadris, in the meantime, did his best to forget his past; eventually he remarried, and had a new son, without Outsider taint, who was destined to inherit the family name and fortune.
Ekemonis struggled to understand his nature and embraced the ways of the monks in improving himself, but never forgave his family for, as he saw it, abandoning him. As he grew older and finished learning what he could at the monastery, his resentment of his half-brother who was due to inherit "his" fortune seethed, and Ekemonis decided to take take action; He made his way back to his family estate, keeping his identity a secret. Ekemonis' jealousy overcame him, and he hatched a not well thought out plan to kidnap his half-brother, and ransom him back to his father.
Ekemonis managed to get himself hired as a hunter to accompany a large hunting party, in honor of his brother's 16th birthday. Awaiting an opportune moment, he drew his brother away from the party, before tackling him, binding and gagging him, and starting to make his escape. Unfortunately for Ekemonis, the family was cautious enough to try to cover even such circumstances; one of his brother's bodyguards had followed and witnessed the entire kidnapping, without tipping off Ekemonis. Before he had carried his brother 200 yards, he found himself surrounded by a thoroughly armed hunting party, and had no choice but to surrender.

Tin Cornbloom could easily work in the right setting. Alas, I think she would be unable to carry her own weight (pun intended) in a combat-oriented PBP. Plus RL will limit my posting. I withdraw Tin Cornbloom, she will remain incarcerated and shipped to the saltmines three days hence.
Here's my character I also previously submitted. I don't know how to link an individual post, but here's the page of the thread and it's the post by mbauers:
I took Careful Speaker as my non-combat extra feat. Here's all my info from my profile. Morvius is a synthesist summoner. The fluff is that he summoned a devil and while he was completing the ritual to bind the creature to his will, the white hats showed up and interrupted him. In desperation, he bound the creature within himself, then surrendered.
Description:
Name: Morvius Krupt
Lawful Evil Human Summoner (Synthesist) of Asmodeus
Age: 26 Height: 5’6” Weight: 135 lbs Eyes: Brown Hair: Black
Languages: Common, Infernal, Draconic, Abyssal
Favored Class: Summoner
A slight, quiet man. Unremarkable, he would go unnoticed in a crowded room. He won't raise his voice, but for some reason when he speaks, others strain to listen. He emanates an aura of confidence and intelligence, which only slightly shadows his lust for power and his malevolence towards those that would oppose him.
Background:
Morvius was supposed to be a hellknight, the pride of his family. His father pulled some strings, but the boy had no interest in skill at arms, nor did he have the physical prowess to excel in combat. His family was so blinded by these ambitions that Morvius chose not to tell them of his nightly fiendish dreams--Asmodeus's servants whispering secret rituals. Instead he struck out on his own, leaving his family in disgrace.
After years of struggle, researching, failure after failure, Morvius found the incantations that would bring forth his birthright. He summoned a fiend of great power, but while binding the creature to his will Sir Balin of Karfeld burst into the room, blade in hand. As the knight's soldiers closed in around him, Morvius hastened his spell in desperation.
To the intruders it appeared as though the devil was vanquished. Morvius surrendered peacefully, smiling inwardly. He had bound the fiend to himself, soul to soul. It was only a matter of time before he would escape...

Morvius Krupt: One caveat. The Intimidate usage of Antagonize is banned in my games. Sorry man, but I find it to be a little ridiculous. You may still use the Diplomacy usage, but since your character seems built around it, might want to change that.
I have no issue with leadership so long as a few ruoes are followed. 1) Your cohort doesn't just levep with you, they gain xp. If they're not in danger they're not gaining xp. 2) Cohorts are people too. People with their own hopes, motivations, thoughts and fears. They are not your second statblock. 3) Adventurers have to step up sometimes. Sometimes your cohort won't be available, or won't be willing or something similar. That's ok, you're an adventurer and sometines you'll have to work without them. And 4) Your cohort will come from the game and your interactions with NPCs. He or she will not pop in from the aether the moment you take the feat. If you're interested in an odd sort of cohort, shoot it by me, odds are I can fit it in as an npc somewhere.
Hey guys. I think I'm going to have to bow out of yet another game -.- I think I;m coming down with something and I don't know if I'll be able to post properly. Best of luck to you all!
Here is Dantes Goldforge, a dwarven fighter (unbreakable archetype) for your consideration for markofbane.
Here is his
background:
As a child, Dantes was willful and clumsy, and his father had him sent to a monastery dedicated to Mitra in hopes of correcting these character flaws. The monastery was far off in the distant highlands, more than a week’s travel from any other outpost of civilization. In some areas he excelled; Dantes could be very disciplined and fought with stubborn determination. However, he wasn’t a quick learner, and he had certain… morale deficiencies that concerned the elder monks. These deficiencies came to a head in his second year of training. In a sparring match another pupil humiliated Dantes using clever tricks and the rules of combat as prescribed by the monastic order. Dantes swore revenge against the other student, not bothering to conceal his declaration from anyone else. He was admonished by the older monks for his poor sportsmanship, and then boys were sent on their way. For whatever scruples Dantes was lacking, he was always true to his word. That night Dantes followed the other student until he could confront him alone. Without any sparring rules restraining him, Dantes quickly used his superior strength to dominate the other student, pounding him without mercy, without pause. By the time someone discovered them and intervened, the other student was dead.
The monks punished him with their most severe penalty: banishment. Dantes was sent into the surrounding highlands with only his clothing and just one day’s ration of bread and water. In the remote inhospitable terrain, it amounted to a death sentence. Dantes walked out of the monastery with a smile. The fools, he thought. Too weak to even kill him for his crime. Dantes defied the odds and not only survived, but thrived beyond the monastery walls. For years he wandered, surviving off the land, making his way slowly toward civilization again. When he got closer, he encountered bandits. The bandits quickly saw he had nothing worth stealing, but he was clearly capable and would be a valuable addition to the group. He adapted quickly, excelling in accosting travelers. Years passed and Dantes was comfortable with his transient lifestyle. It wasn’t until more than a decade later when fortune changed for him and the bandit group. Their spies brought word that a golden relic of Mitra was going to be taken on pilgrimage to the very same distant monastery that expelled Dantes. They planned quickly, confident that they had enough men to destroy the escort. All seemed to be going well, and the relic, which certainly contained a hundred pounds of gold, was certain to be theirs. The tide of battle changed suddenly, however, when a large group of monks emerged from ahead. The group, sent by the monastery to escort the relic through the wilderness, closed the distance impossibly fast, moving like the wind and turning the tide of the fight. Some of the monks recognized Dantes and restrained him as other bandits around him were slain.
Dantes roared in rage as he was subdued and manacled. He overheard the guards and monks talking after the battle. The relic had been bait to lure out the bandits so they could be dealt with for once and for all. Dantes was taken back to Talingarde where he would face punishment for the attempted theft of the relic. On the return journey, Dantes caught the attention of one of the monks and told him “I will get revenge, you know.” The monk was non-plussed. “On me?” the monk asked. Dantes nodded. “On you, your brethren, the church of Mitra” he said nodding at the cart with the relic “and Talingarde” he said with a nod at the guards. The monk smiled and shook his head at the absurdity of the claim, but he felt a chill run down his spine. Because he knew for all of that Dantes had serious character flaws, the powerful dwarf always, always kept his word.
I was considering throwing up backround for a character or something that can serve as a cohort once it gets to that if that's possible who might have had experience with Vladimir.
I was also considering simply summoning and binding a lower-level devil if I went Diabolist PrC at higher levels if that fits in the spirit of the game. Racial HD traded out for PC levels standard highly risky dangers of binding outsiders as per normal binding rules.
I'm also comfortable with an NPC or something of that nature. It's all really simply academic unless I'm selected for play anyways in which case we can work something out when the time comes, so I'm not too worried about it. I was just wondering if it wasn't bared because I'm purposing to play a Charisma heavy character so the clarification was nice and allows me to plan accordingly.
Cohorts are a dagger in the back waiting to happen
IC:
Vladimir smirks arrogantly as he brushes aside his long white hair one eyebrow raised in mocking inquiry. "Hah any truly great follower of the dark prince in service to his infernal will knows quite well how to bind and......subject.... those to do his bidding and turn whatever strength they have to serve his own purpose."
"Hahahahah! Any fool who would allow someone beneath him to place the dagger squarely in his back is unworthy of the power he wields over them and quite deserving of the grievous wound and subsequent blood spilled due to his own incompetence. It's part of the eternal struggle for power between two beings, something you're obviously not well educated on." Vladimir states jovially as if lecturing a small child with a mental disability who has amused him with a silly question.
Lorn is ready, I also editted the fluff by the way.
Lorn is missing one language though (from his Int bonus). I'm not sure if I have to choose that one now or if Lorn can pick up a language during his adventures.
Morvius Krupt: One caveat. The Intimidate usage of Antagonize is banned in my games. Sorry man, but I find it to be a little ridiculous. You may still use the Diplomacy usage, but since your character seems built around it, might want to change that.
I agree 100%. I actually would never have used the feat, but when I applied in the other thread the DM was talking about how tough this adventure would be for the players, how each of the characters should be self-sufficient, etc. I was trying to ease the burden of the party's healer by making a self-healing tank. But yeah, I actually think the Intimidate part of the feat is overpowered.
I replaced Antagonize with Improved Initiative, and everything else is the same.
Vladimir hangs his head in lament for shackled to these prison walls Asmodeus shall not find favor in him. His beheading inevitable he cringes, "Infernal damnation! I shall go to the bloc head held high even as a large procession of those loyal to the shining lord wear their torches as my head falls into a basket. I'll be smiling on them from hell as they dance upon my casket!" he spits with fiery vitriol.
Congrats to to everyone happy Rping may you have high dice rolls.
I don't suppose a 3rd recruitment for the wicked way will open up anytime soon <_<
