Step one free the ogre and let him loose on the guards. (Done)
Step two unleash a group of prisoners and have them go a differnt way than we do (window may work here as a decoy
Step three a raging fire, maybe the kitcken or somewhere that'll draw more forces.
Step four with their resources split, GTFO!
Are we talking just a few prisoners beyond ourselves in this place? Dozens or hundreds? We might be able to wear down some of the guards numbers through attrition. If we do, we might be able to hide our escape longer, have more time to get away.
I am having some slight issues with my internet. I am hoping to have them cleared up by the end of the week but until I get my net back I'll be on hiatus. No need to worry amd feel free to continue roleplaying your characters without me.
Bringing the conversation over to OOC so we don't crowd Gameplay with it. Considering we're all evil (so no spontaneous positive energy channeling to begin with) and our group consists of:
Slevin is really the only one who can (Reliably) use Cure wands at present. So healing is definitely going to be an in demand resource methinks. Just a ::hint,hint:: to our Glorious GM when he's rollin' up our treasure :P
Yes, Dantes can stay on his feet through 35 points of damage, but beyond that he is gone. I am perfectly happy with him being used as a meat shield; I have had him holding back in many cases due to his lack of stealth. He's just a bit on the dim side, so he can easily be put to tasks like "I'm reasonably certain I disarmed the trap on this, but why don't we have Dantes open it just to be sure..."
I'm headed to Florida; my mother-in-law is really sick. I'm not sure how long I'll be there, probably a week or a week and a half. I'm guessing I'll still be able to check online with some regularity, but if I'm not please DMPC to keep things moving.
Hope she gets well soon Mark. Real life always comes first.
Also: Congratulations everyone. It seems you've levelled up to level 2 *Confetti*
List changes here so I can make sure to approve of them, and change up your character sheets accordingly.
EDIT: For health you may take half of your hit die rounded up (4 for casters, 5 for rogue types, 6 for warriors) or roll for it. If you roll you're stuck with it, so choose carefully.
Devon is done, took average (6) hp, fighter feat was Crane Style, everything else is done, his profile is updated. Also, took the +1 to CMD vs two manuevers as my level 2 favored class bonus (human fighter).
We are in Fort Myers. She is not doing well at all, but there is a lot of family here from all over the country, so the atmosphere is good. I'll work on leveling up Dantes later; it will be a welcome distraction.
Level 2 Fighter (unbreakable)
BAB +1
+11 hit points
Unflinching: +1 on will saves vs. mind affecting spells.
Bonus Feat: Cleave.
Skill Points, 3: Stealth, Survival, Swim.
Sounds good then. I'll go make a post about throwing up the light spell, then Marius and Slevin can make us some frog leg gumbo (or however you cook big frog).
I threw up the equipment with gp values for ease. If anyone sees anything they can use, mention it.

The only thing I see are the jewelry items. Mostly because 8 strength here, and it's portable treasure for me :) Plus if I want to take advantage of a noble's outfit, kinda need jewelry for it anyway. It'd be around a share of treasure (after stuff gets sold and whatnot), unless someone's opposed to it.
Hey guys, a friend of mine got a surprise military leave and between that and work I've been swamped. However, last night I took the really quick route down some stairs (I.e. I fell) and thus wotk has become a non-issue for at least a day or two, so i will be updating later today.
Take care! I totally get taking advantage of a friend dropping into town like that, or a bout of clumsiness... ;) We look forward to seeing you back when you are up for it.
I love the different approaches, the assasin is paranoid about poison, the manipulator is worried about being controlled, the gunslinger is enjoying luxury and the fighter's like "meh".
Nothing like going into a job interview, and telling your boss to be, "I'm not here for the job you're offering, I'm here for your job, and that's just as a stepping stone for your boss's job." This could so turn out bad.
