I have missed everyone. Let's give everyone a couple of days to find their way back. Feel free to pick up some RP and social interactions to get our momentum back! Don't worry about in-game time... conversations/interactions between now and the next major update won't effect the amount of time left to complete your mission.
No apologies necessary. This downtime has been pretty nasty.
I'll have a post up tonight advancing the story a little more. We are quickly approaching my long international travel stretch and I was hoping to be further along before we hit that. I guess Paizo had other plans!
I have been thinking about how to handle the asynchrony involved in this scenario. Here is my proposal, though I am very willing to listen to other thoughts on how to handle it.
Option #1:
You say what you want to do and we resolve it. You can interrupt your action (like if other PC's call for help), but you are locked into returning to your previous location and finishing the task
Option #2:
You say what you are going to do, and we count the time towards it. It resolves at the end of the stated time. If you leave before the resolution (like if other PC's call for help), you have the option at the end to abandon your previous task or return to finish it.

If you like. I'm fine waiting my 30 minutes especially if a huge fight erupts in the next room that kills everyone else.... Alright, I suppose Solemnia would at least peek around the corner to see who was gettin' killed first, before quietly going back to her research. ;)

Hey everyone. I leave tomorrow for my 2 week trip out of the country, so my posting is going to decrease to once a day and will likely change times to a new timezone. I still anticipate moving the story along, and please feel free to use the extra time to role play and build your characters and relationships.
Starting very early tomorrow morning, I will be traveling for 48 straight hours- so there will be a bit of gap in posting during that time.

Any ideas on this puzzle? Looking back for clue, I don't see anything in the notes we found. The only thing I can see that is common to multiple rooms are the pictures of the prince. It has those saying that go "A cunning lie is never told twice." "Loyalty is it's own reward." I doubt we can ask the guardian to. I am at a utter blank after going through everything. Unless we missed something that all I can think that we can use. Any ideas?

I rolled a bunch of skill checks that might give us an extra clue. Someone better at survival than I am might be able to track where each statue is dragged to.
I thought it might have to do with those words we got at the start that we read not he statue's book, but the numbers don't line up. Paintings are a good guess. Was there one in every room, or were there only two?

only two that we found so far, but we didn't explore the rooms near the entrance
Update is in coming soon- then I will be on a 48 hour blackout while I travel back to the US. I will try to give you as much information as I can so you can push the story along without me! It feels like we are on the closing steps!

Lovissa has a secret talent for finding open tables. She was instrumental in helping me get established here on the boards and find games- once of the (many) reasons I was so glad to see her sign up for this table!

Congrats on what amounts to a near perfect pathfinder scenario. You accomplished the pathfinder impossible- made it through the entire story without a combat encounter (There were three combat encounter possibilities)! You should really pat yourselves on the back!
Thank you all for playing! I hope that you had as much fun as I did!
Please don't hesitate to contact me if there were things that I can improve on as a GM. Every game is a learning opportunity!
A few last house keeping things...
This is a Gameday game so... we get to roll for boons!
Everyone needs to make a d20 roll. If you get a 19 or 20, please roll a d4 to determine what boon you win! If you do win a boon, please PM your email address so I can send it to you!

Yeah I know we could have done more but I guess that's what the time limit is for, for level 1 characters who aren't gaming the system it's hard to know what to do to achieve everything. I knew that book was something I could use but I was too far and it probably would summon some skeletons based on its description lol

hey how do we contact gms for closed games, I recently finished a game and apparently my chronicle sheet didn't save properly

Rorrim (long-winded response):
You'll have to send them a private message. To do so you need to have PMs enabled, which I can see you don't. You can turn it on by going to 'My Account' at the top right of your screen, then clicking 'Account Settings' on the drop down menu, and then scrolling down to the bottom of the page. On the left under privacy settings there's a little box you can check that allows paizo.com members to send you a PM. Click that box. Once that's done:
If you know the GMs name just enter it in the search bar (filter your search by users) and click on them. This will bring you to their profile. Under their name it will say how many posts they've made and some other stats. Right under that will be a link that says 'Send Private Message.' Click it and send them one.
If you don't know the GMs name instead: Click on 'My Account' at the top right of your screen, then in the drop down menu that appears click on 'Organized Play.' (If that doesn't load instead click on 'My Account' then 'Account Settings' and the 'Organized Play'). Underneath the two blue horizontal bars at the top there will be three tabs. Click on 'Sessions.' That will list all the PFS sessions you've played in. Find the right session, then click the GMs name. This will bring you to their profile. Now you can click the 'Send Private Message' link.
If there is no 'Send Private Message' link then they've turned off messages. Check their profile to see if they have contact information there. Or... if they play PBP you can check out their 'Campaign' tab, find a game they're in (and active for) and make a polite post in the discussion tab saying you're trying to get into contact with ___ over __. If none of those options work try going to the Flaxseed Lodge discussion page and make a post there saying what your problem is, and that you're having trouble contacting the GM.
