I couldn't modify the image and then I investigated why and found that IE isn't compatible with Google docs, but after installing the Chrome Frame it works.

Sorry, I haven't connected to a game as a player before. First you have to create an account at roll20.net it's very simple and doesn't require activation. I just thought it might be easier to use an actual VTT to do combat but we still can fall back on the google doc.

I registered, but it just shows the cover of the scenario... no drop down...

I tried on IE, it says it doesn't play well with IE, and suggests that you install Google Chrome Frame or use Google Chrome.

EDIT: Wrong thread.

I was able to see the Old Map after I installed the Chrome Frame, but now it just shows a blank grid of squares.

When I try and download the image, it gives me an error.

The New Map doesn't work for me at all, it just says loading with a random message beneath it and the broser says Done with errors on page.

I installed Google Chrome and they both work fine in it.

Both maps worked fine for me in Internet Explorer (I have Google Chrome and Firefox installed, but really don't use either). I'm pretty sure I have Google Chrome Frame as well.

Yes, as per the taking 10 rules you can take 10 anytime you're not threatened.
