Unwilling to let his friend be a human orcish golian shield all by himself, Dergosh sidled up to edge of the water next to the armor-plated giant.

"Careful, friend. With all that armor on you swim worse than three week dead wugaloo. You fall in you never come up."

Without a fishing pole, net, or even a goblin bomb, Dergosh decided to blast the first skum to show its scaly head.

Ready action to use blare domain power on first skum sighted within range

Excellent thinking. Tigerwolf notices that the indistinguishable noises/voices heard before seem to be drawing slightly nearer and are coming from beyond the veil of vines.

Tigerwolf taps Karoll on the shoulder before she goes to move stealthily to one side of the vines ready to strike should she need to.

Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Any action from Karol? or Garmack? I'll bot by tomorrow if not

Two fishmen surfaced in the swirling underground lake, one right at the shore where Majuba had just climbed out and the other further out in the waters. Dergosh’s unleashed his blast of sound at the first skum as it poked its head out, a blare of noise that echoed around the cenote.

Dergosh blare ranged touch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

No good, the cleric's blast of sound is muffled by the water and does not affect the fishman.

Tigerwolf:
Tigerwolf is tucked out of sight on this side of the veil of vines. She can hear multiple footsteps approaching, now just on the other side of the hanging foliage

Greez misses with his kicks, his large feet dragging though the water just in front of the skum. A spear lances out from the water in return with Odak trying to interpose his shield.

skum attack on Greez: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Meanwhile, the fishman further out in the water fires a pair of small barded javelins at Dergosh who is standing on the other side of the golian (Majuba is behind Odak).

The spear slips past Odak's shield to strike Greez in the thigh.

damage vs. Greez: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

attack 1 vs. Dergosh: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
attack 2 vs. Dergosh: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

The cleric easily ducks the flying javelins, inciting him to bellow out a laugh. "Puffer fish's barbs not so sharp. HA!"

Tigerwolf hears footsteps approaching and know in the next instant something will be passing through the vines, a target for her waiting sword.

ATK: Skum that attacked Greez: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 (It might hit something!)

The nearest skum continues to stab at Greez.

skum attack 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
misfortune hex reroll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

This time Greez is easily able to evade the spear thrust

Dergosh initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 14

Dergosh’s favored tactic was to wade directly into battle, and this was no exception, roiling lake of water or no. He hopped forward to the moss covered islet just in front of him and made a rude version of an arcane gesture at the skum out in the water, unleashing a silent scream at the fishman.

Casting ear-piercing scream
skum save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

The skum ignored the magical blast and swam towards the cleric, a long trident rising out of the water from the fishman's hand to stab at Dergosh's belly.

skum attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Dergosh's breastplate barely turns the attack, as the skum and cleric continue to parry ineffectually.

Over at curtain of vines, another skum bursts hurriedly through the barrier, with more in tow behind him.

Tigerwolf, please make your attack. The skum is expecting trouble, but Tigerwolf is hidden so he is flat-footed to her.

A deep grunt came from that attack. This time would just try to send a punch at that fish thing's face if was still in range but doing it using a Flurry of Blows.

Odak’s heavy sword sliced deeply into the skum’s exposed shoulder while Greez’s kicks to his head sent the creature’s skull violently thrashing backwards. The skum went limp and started to sink lifelessly. Total 38 damage done

skum 2 save vs. Hex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Majuba's hex takes affect on the remaining skum

Tigerwolf cleaved the skum coming through vines, smashing him in the ribs while Garmack loosed two arrows.

Garmack arrow 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Garmack arrow 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

damage from arrow 2: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Between Tigerwolf's blow and Garmack's arrow the skum nearly falls, but he stumbles forward. As he does so, through the vines you catch a glimpse of at least two more of the fishmen if not more.

Ok,please declare actions for the next round. You have one remaining fish in the water, but several also coming from the other direction.

I'm fairly sure there's errors in this but this is the map I managed to reconstruct from the last map along with some of the actions taken after it. LINK. You'll notice that all of you have Health gauges which I'm able to use a script to update them as you take damage and healing. Odak has an empty gauge at the bottom to reflect his Power-Points (which he has none). Spellcasters will have a similar bar to measure Spell-Points (to be discussed later).

I'm also having to ask that since I'm now the DM, to ask you all to post your actions unto a new round so we can do this as a fresh start. If you end up doing the same actions as you were before, you have the benefit of taking the same result or rerolling (in case you got a crappy roll) After which we'll finally be back on track.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 5) + 7 = 15

SKUM D is on the other side of Tigerwolf and Odak, in the interest of Tigerwolf not being flattened and to avoid AoO (ironically, like with Tigerwolf), I'll target the nearest safest enemy, SKUM C. And to everyone, if you prefer to act literally (as you say it) or subjectively (GM's discretion). Please tell me in your next posts so I know how to handle you in the future. If you do choose literally you have to be VERY specific in your wording including how you conduct your movement phases. Being specific even in subjective mode helps avoid issues like with Tigerwolf and me not seeing a clear route to enemies without AoO.

• The hefty GREEZ lumbers towards his foe with a diving roll in hopes to flatten them with a eagle kick. However he ends up falling short and merely dents the ground instead. (He misses!)

I'd post the enemy's round but I'm writing this in the morning before work, I'll do it up next post then it'll be a new round!

[ENEMY ROUND]

The Skum look up wearily at the armoured titan ODAK and at the swift TIGERWOLF and change up their tactics a little. SKUM D takes a quick step next to it's ally and prepares to Aid-Other SKUM C to improve it's next attack roll.

Aid-Other (10+): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 (Critical Success!)
Aid-Other (Critical Success!): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 (Confirmed)
• SKUM D's coordinates perfectly with SKUM C, granting SKUM C a +4 attack bonus instead of the normal +2 attack bonus.

SKUM C with the help of it's ally, targets Tigerwolf in a last ditch effort to slay one of their intruders, thrusting their spear towards her chest! Odak's Saving Shield intervenes by sweeping his wall-like tower shield in the effort to deflect the blow, increasing TIGERWOLF's AC by 2.

ATK: Skum's Spear (+Aid_Other): 1d20 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 4 = 27 (It hits!)
DMG: Skum's Spear: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

SKUM C misses penetrating TIGERWOLF's body but does cut her along her side, only a flesh wound. Meanwhile SKUM A afflicted with various hexes has decided to retreat into the water and out of view.

New Mechanic: Critical Successes and Disasters; like described in an earlier Discussion post. The ability to perform amazing attacks and actions can be yours if you roll a natural 20. Generally attacks get multiplied damage on crits but actions such as Aid-Other triggered by the Skum can provide greater bonuses or additional effects depending on how well it can be roleplayed. Like with crits, a successful confirmation roll based on the target DC is needed to assure it wasn't a fluke. Disasters are inversely triggered if you roll a Natural 1 and can be 'saved' in a similar way by confirming that you didn't fail twice as hard. Players are given the freedom to choose their lucky Critical Success but it is the GM's discretion on what happens in a Disaster.

As it happens, the Critical Success of the Skum wasn't even close to being useful due to SKUM C's unnaturally high roll, but thems the dice.

[NEW ROUND BEGINS, FIGHT!]

Female Half-Orc [HP 43/43 | AC 12 ACR 14 | T 11 | FF 14 | Fort 3 | Ref 6 | Will 3 | Init 2 | Per +8/+10(hidden items) Skulking Slayer Rogue/4

Cleave: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Dmg: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 6) + 5 = 16

Again Tigerwolf swings to cleave them starting with the one on the left, swinging to her right but the wound knocks her aim off.

Silver Crusade

Spells Active:
Orc Scarred Witch Doctor 6 | HP 10/10 | AC 13(17) | T 12(16) | FF 10(14) | Fort 10 I Ref 2 | Will 7(+2 Saves vs Spells with the pain descriptor) | Init 1 | Move 30
Skills:

Doctor Majuba Moves up 10' and unleashes the misfortune hex(Will 20) on Skum C.

Is there any way for individual players to move their own character, like say Roll20

Giant Male Orc HP 72/72, AC 19 T18 FF14, Saves Fort+9 Ref+8(evasion) Will+9 (+2 all enchant spell/effects), Init +4, Acro+17, Percep+10, Climb+10, SenseMotive +8, Heal+3, Ki 5/5 Monk/8

Will move in closer to the one and attack.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (1, 5) + 7 = 13

Giant Male Protector, 15ft tall, 3,960lbs. ||| •HP: 84/84, •PP: 28/28, •AC: 14 (ADR 13), •Saves: +11/+1/+5, •ATK: +7, •DMG: 3d6+7, CMB/D: +13/22

• TIGERWOLF's cleave swipes a few inches short of the Skum she was swinging at and missed.

• MAJUBA takes one long stride towards SKUM C to inflict Misfortune Hex upon it. It is successful and now the Skum is under it's effects.
SKUM C: Will Save (20): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 (Save Failed)

• GREEZ picks himself up after his athletic roll and lifts his leg up to stomp on the Skum's head. Squashing the fish underfoot with an audible crack. SKUM C is dying and unable to battle.
