Ooh, even on swapping the feats? That's disappointing, as they seemed to enrich his story, and they're both the kind of thing that makes sense at first level rather than later on (Fey Foundling can only be taken at first level). And I hadn't even heard of Tribal Scars until I started looking today.

It would be fun to be able to swap one or both of the feats that every melee character picks up, just for the flavor of the other ones, but if you're saying I can't, I'll live with it.

Cool, thanks, I will do that. I'm curious to see how Fey Foundling ends up working in play, glad we have a cleric in the mix. And I see your point about the monstrosity, it is a mighty feat, kind of combining variations of Toughness and Alertness in one feat. I might have to take it later...

And, Sven, I completely agree about Grigsby, he's a perfect gnome. The moment where he adjusted the stick in his hair before attempting to leap to the roof was brilliant.

GM - Looks like I misunderstood your statement in the spoiler in the very first post, where Kalt & Sven were waiting to get their axle repaired by an eccentric gnome. I thought that meant Bugsby was doing that work, but through some judicious peeking at Bugsby's spoiler, I now see that it was some other eccentric gnome.

Which is why I imagined we already knew Bugsby and bugged him about the repair job. Sorry for any confusion. That's what I get for forgetting that all gnomes are eccentric.


No issue on my part, I assumed Bugsby would correct you if he had an issue. You know those Gnomes, they all look alike!


So, my apologies to everyone, but it's going to be a slow day here. I'd suggest not waiting to see what Lachna does, for the rest of you high on initiative. My computer monitor failed to turn on this morning and all my attempts at a fix failed. I can't see the map right on my phone. So, it looks like my actions will have to wait until after work when I can get out to buy a new monitor. :(

Hey GM, it probably doesn't matter now but here's the description of Protoplasm. Similar effects to Tanglefoot bag, but things like duration, range, are different.

Protoplasm:

Protoplasm (Sp): At 1st level, you can create a ball of entropic protoplasm and hurl it at targets within 30 feet (Not 10' range like a tanglefoot bag, also no roll attack roll needed as I read it, similar to Magic Missile). This protoplasm acts as a tanglefoot bag that also inflicts 1 point of acid damage per round to a creature entangled by it. The protoplasm dissolves within 1d3 rounds. You may use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier (so 6/day for Bugbsy).

I know that there are no ill effects in the game mechanics from her injury, but I consider RPing to be creating a story, and the story becomes more believable if Avora suffers from her injury until it heals (or is healed). Hence, I willingly accept any penalties the GM may feel are appropriate until her leg is healed.


Bugsby, I would still say you need to make a ranged touch attack to hit the thing you are throwing your goo at. Magic missile specifically states it flies unerringly at its target.

Hey guys, just checking in to say I'm alive and well. Just started a new job and getting a laptop from them, and getting it to work, etc... has been a treat. Also lots of orientation and trainings at the new job, plus the site being down last night didn't help. Anyways! I'm here now :)


I know the issues with the site yesterday threw off a lot of people. Do you guys want more time to heal/distribute loot, or should I just hand wave it for now and move on with the game?

Kalt: 9/13
Lachna: 10/10
Sven: 14/20

1 good channel should just about top everyone off.
