Frowning down at where the long dark nails of the cloudy creature had managed to find a gap in the elbow joint of his armour, the blue clad knight responds with a flowing counter attack, his blade whirling towards the central mass of his foe in a sudden surge of fire and ice.

Sir Allumbris kills the soul eater attacking him, Varian and Gallus have seriously wounded theirs

Allumbris:
Yes, you know that soul eaters are immune to criticals, poison, sleep , stunning , paralysis. These do seem a bit more hardy than usual.You are regenerated to full befor this encounter.

As the blackened arms shudder and jerk their last, the smoky cloud that forms their essence seems to coalesce around the dark blade Sir Allumbris wields; the energy of the creatures flowing down the weapon and into the knight's hand.

Using the life drinker quality of the Black Blade to regain the arcane pool point just spent, so long as the soul eater has at least 10HD.

As the creature falls at Lillies feat she instructs her lessor minons to help the others and asks her companion to keep an eye out for anything else that might be arriving. She has a feeling these are merely a distraction and she doesn't want to fall into a trap. Lilly will move to help free up Varos and swing her hammer at one of the creatures attacking him.

Her companion will nod at the instructions given and will keep an eye out for anything else that might be coming to attack them or might have to be dealt with.

The Plague ogre zombie, Tough human Zombie, and fast goblin zombie all rush in and attack the soul eaters that are attacking Gallus, Allumbris, and Varian respectively. The one fighing Gallus will aslo need to save against Zombie Rot DC 13.

Oh ya I get to go again!, This fight got a bit messy going to have more organization on the next one.

Soul Eater full attack on Varos, only one left 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30
to hit with one claw 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (16) + 18 = 34 to hit with second 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 damage per claw if hit.

After that you Finish off the Soul Eaters. This was obviously the scout party, and already you can hear the tormented crys of a hundred undead approaching from the south.

As the battle ends Lilly concentrates for a second and her wounds close up and the bleeding stops. Lilly sighs as she looks around at the carnage. "Mearly scouts as I figured. What a nice little diversion but it will take more than that to distract me from my true mission."

Lilly looks to the south as she hears the all to familiar sound to her. A large smile creeps across her face for a brief moment but then she remembers her parties warnings about her negative energy and the smile fades. "Sure...hundreds of undead coming this way and I can't take control of them...This cloud sucks..." She then casts Effortless Armor(no more armor penalty or reduced speed)and then will cast Detect Undead. She concentrates for 3 rounds so that she knows the strength and location of each undead aura. She will then turn to her companions.

"I've found the strongest aura in the group of undead. I have a plan on how to try to take it out but I need to be able to get through the rest of the hoard. Does anyone have the ability to cast invisibility on me?"

Lilly:
The strongest Aura is from one of the Daughters you suspect, it is twice as strong as the other daughters which are the next strongest. This is surprisings since most Daughters of Urgathoa can barley handle controlling one large undead, let alone an army.

"I am able to do so only for a few moments;" Allumbris admits with a shake of his head, "but in any case, if I recall correctly--which I cannot guarantee I do--many of the undead do not only see with their eyes."

Havandrier utters an incantation to summon forth a shield of force. "Given the options, I say we charge over them to the source. I can summon forth speed to quicken my pace, and am able to carry two of you with little effect in the air."

Moments later the sounds of undead are getting closer, you believe them to be just beyond your sight in this deep darkness. I was allowing for any other preparations, if there are none I will roll initative on my next post and begin the large battle

"We are getting close... I could use that enlarge person about now, thanks." Varian closes his eyes for a very brief moment of contemplation before combat begins, then opens them again with a look of determination on his face.

Preparing for the fight Varos begin to cast all his supportive and enchantment spells on his allies

As he cast his spells in furious speed and the massive amount of energies begin to gather on his finger tips on his command people begin to shine like suns in Varos eyes as he examines them with his Arcane Sight

Before we fight I will just warn before we advance to the daughters that I will freeze them all... literally at their places. We have a little bit time after that which I will be using to cast my most potent and powerful spells I posses to weaken them as much as I can. I suggest you to do the same and when this wears off... lets hope that they are weakened or dead when it ends. I advice you to not get close to it or you will also be frozen in that place

and beginning to chant his last spell and just as a last measurement I will cast Invisibility, Mass to try to give us even some chances to succeed and with that Varos finishes and releases his magical words.

When ready Varos draw 3 different stick from his backpack, 2 resting on his belt and one in his left. All of them carved from the bones and shaped to resemble some ancient creatures

Everyone, please check the used spells in order to know the benefits + especially the Hostile Juxtaposition, Greater to know what it will be doing

Wasn't sure how long we'd have, so I thought it would be best to keep it to one round at a time. If there is more chance for preperation, then Allumbris will also cast true seeing, blue, then mirror image.

Once aloft, the blue-steel wrapped knight retrieves a thick ointment from a pouch at his waist, spreading it over his eyelids as his intones the arcane syllables of a spell.

Varos:
I noticed a few things about your spells. You might well be aware of these, but I thought I'd point them out, just in case:
  • You're casting a couple of personal spells on other people there (mirror image and false life), do you have a feat to get around that, or were you just handing the scrolls out for them to cast on themselves?
  • I'm guessing that the haste from the scroll will get cast last? If it's cast in the order of the list, it'll have 1 round of duration left by the time you've finished casting.
  • Speaking of the casting order; you'll need to make sure hostile juxtaposition, greater is cast before the enlarge person on Varian. (You are aware that it can be used on enemies too, right? Albeit with a will save to negate)

Yes, I had to learn this through hard way before so thanks for notice :) Indeed the scrolls are given out before hand to some party members: reason I have them as a scrolls and not as a spells. as I remember there are no feats which could enable to cast them on other persons or at least I think so.

Those are indeed NOT in a casting order: just a relevant way for me to place them according level what I did cast. Haste will go last due to round restriction + with hostile juxtaposition, greater is better to keep on the teammates. If some though undeads or daughters appears to target me I can always swap with someone tougher member(i.e with you or Varian or Havandrier)

Before they go invisible Lilly will cast Spell Immunity, Communal to block out any use of Invisibility Purge. It will last 10 minutes for everyone except her. She will then instruct her lesser minions(everyone except her companion) to attack the army and press on as long as they can.

Lilly will tell her companion to head towards were she feels the strongest aura's are coming from. Her companion will use his Gaseous Form ability to start heading there.

She will then head out with the rest of the party.

Don't you just hate when you have a big 200 damage spell picked out and the creatures your up against are immune to it...well hopefully they like being set on fire instead lol

Is there a map available or a possible description? I'm having trouble visualizing what exactly is happeneing and what my options will be. Are we able to just target the sisters or are they deep within a mass of undead that we have to get through first. Distances and placement are throwing me.

You are only able to see 30' in this darkness(those of you that have darkvision). You hear sounds just beyond that 30' range. You are about to charge through the horde to get to the center and attack the Sisters is my understanding.

You pushed through the undead horde. You meet an invisible resistance, some of you overcome, and you see the daughters 30' away. They failed their save and took some fire damage, as did the older fey though less than youd expect.Two of the Daughters are larger than usual, some of you discerned why, and another one holding a fey said something in Necril.

If possible, Havandrier will charge the nearest daughter with his gore attack.

Havandrier makes his will save and is able to break through the repulsion spell, which he realizes from his spellcraft roll. Daughter 2 is damaged, but gets an AoO from natural reach. 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (9) + 22 = 31to hit
1d12 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 Claw damage 1d6 ⇒ 6 cold damage if hits.

In retaliation the Daughters attack those that have made actions to get them out of invis, as do the undead horde around them.

Daughter 1 turns to gas In Varos' arms , and he is engaged by countless undead I am not going to make rolls, at this point consider yourself surrounded by various undead, you have not taken damage at this point, but it takes all of your concentration(though it does keep this portion off your friends)

I assume here you mean Varian not Varos, since it is Varian that was grappling the Daughter. Let me know if I am misunderstanding.
