You can start by asking him how many are at the fort. Then ask him how many other bands are out patrolling the forest and are they heading towards the ferry. If he isn't helpful show him his fate!
I will cut a small green tree to make a pike out of and mount an ogre head on it. I will plant it in the ground here at this crossroad. I will then prepare another pike to carry with us with his head on it.

The Rangers have traveled this road hundreds of times and navigate the party in about four hours within a couple of miles from the Fort. Here you must abandon your horses (hiding their saddles, bags and bridles in a hidden cache). Cela transforms into a pony and tells them to make hast back to Turtleback Ferry. With the Rangers leading you stealthily make your way to a hidden cave entrance behind a waterfall. Cela helps conceal your entry with her horn of fog.
Area B12:
The floor of this cave is dotted with puddles. Patches of pale moss and fungus grow in sheets on the wall, while to the north, a five-foot-wide
passageway angles up into darkness. A walkway of soggy planks leads from this opening southeast to a second opening curtained by cascades of falling water.
