1d20 + 12 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 12 + 1 = 29 Got it.
MiniGM |
so LOTS of stuff happens now. Bear with me
First as Vinny approaches the caster he hears a barking, then he gets bitten 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17 for 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 1) + 5 = 10
Then the man with the great sword attacks bears bear
2d20 ⇒ (18, 8) = 26 it hits once dealing 2d6 + 25 ⇒ (2, 3) + 25 = 30
Vinny is shocked when another man with a great sword appears and attacks him
2d20 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9 he too only hits once 2d6 + 25 ⇒ (3, 3) + 25 = 31 but he leaves a massive gash in his thigh
A naga appears in the corner and sends a lightning bolt through tarin and down the hall hitting Tarin, Unalaq, Bear and Darin 7d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 3, 5, 5, 1, 6) = 29 DC 16 for half
Finally the mage focuses and defensively casts DDoor which i am pretty sue i don't have to roll, i will check though
GO MAKE SURE YOU MAKE THAT LIGHTING BOLT SAVE
Darin the Cheerful |
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Reflex Saves, my most hated foe. Move up after I can check on the map for all craziness outside of work.
MiniGM |
oh i need to make some reflex saves in order to do that cause bear might be down.
Bear 1d20 ⇒ 2
Unalaq 1d20 ⇒ 4
Tarin 1d20 ⇒ 5
Wow all fails. Bear falls, but wakes up immediately.
Round 2 continue, Bear you are prone
EDIT sorry you are not prone bear, I was looking al the stats for the summoned Bear, you are fine, just singed.
Vincente Valentino Valdemar |
I'm just confirming: They greatsword person has a +21 to hit on their first swing? I am sitting at a 26 AC, which I did post earlier...
Fernus Stonecall |
Fernus moves next to Tarin and casts Magic Missile, hitting four different targets.
Assuming I could see the mage, else the first one is on 4 as well.
Magic Missile at 1 +Trip: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 31d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28
Magic Missile at 2 + Trip: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 51d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
Magic Missile at 3 + Trip: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 51d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34
Magic Missile at 4 + Trip: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 51d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32
Darin the Cheerful |
Darin will move up and attack 3.

Tarinhilliberanavius |
Reflex (Ward): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31
Actually, Mini, at +11, I'd make the save v. the lightning bolt, even on a 5. Sadly, I don't have evasion, so that's 27 damage, then 14 back from Phooka. (So: 56/69)
Tarinhil spreads his wings and drifts slightly back from the naga, then growls, "My turn.", he says as his hands rapidly mix an explosive and a tanglefoot bomb, hurling them both at the large snake-beast.
(+1 to attack and damage from PBS, +1 trait bonus [Monster Hunter] v. aberration)
Tanglefoot Bomb: 1d20 + 13 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 13 + 1 + 1 = 24 (v. touch)Damage: 5d6 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5, 1, 4, 1, 2) + 6 + 1 + 1 = 21 Ref DC 20 or entangled and glues to the floor
Explosive Bomb: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 8 + 1 + 1 = 13 (v. touch)Damage: 5d6 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6, 2, 4, 2, 6) + 6 + 1 + 1 = 28 On fire, d6/round, Full Round DC 20 Ref to extinguish
Unalaq |
Brain fart by me. I was thinking I could draw as part of the 5-foot step, but of course I can only do that on a move action (without Quickdraw). I should have retconned, moved further into the room and thrown the club, but we're too far down the path now.
With the caster teleporting away, Unalaq shifts his attention to the naga and fires three arrows at the serpent-like creature.
Swift action to smite the naga (which drops the smite on the caster). Five foot step closer to naga too.
Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
Damage: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20
Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17
Tarin, are you counting your haste bonus?
Mini, I believe my current hp should be 67/92. 17 lost from the trap. 22 lost from the lightning bolt. 14 back from Phooka.
MiniGM |
Both of Fernus's missiles get absorbed by broaches the great sword wielders are wearing, meanwhile Tarin's tanglefoot bomb hits while the other misses 1d100 ⇒ 47 misses due to displacement
2d20 ⇒ (15, 10) = 25 not pinned and half damage from the blast, while two arrows find the mark from Unalaq 2d100 ⇒ (7, 65) = 72, but only one hits while Darin possibly hits once 1d100 ⇒ 48 but he misses
just waiting on bear and his prone bear
Bear the Bear |
Posting from phone.
Bear moved in after he cast so I updated his position. The bear rises drawing am aoo then attacks the swordsmen.

Tarinhilliberanavius |
Well, a direct hit and splash ain't half bad. And no, thanks for the reminder Unalaq.
Tarinhil uses the magical speed boost to mix up a third bomb and hurl it at the naga, I can't keep this up for too long, so I sure hope it's worth it..

Vincente Valentino Valdemar |
Vinny takes a quick step back and then winks...then he proceeds to slam his spear into the fellow repeatedly with all his strength.
1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 11 + 1 = 20
1d8 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 11 + 1 = 17

1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 1 = 14
1d8 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
Wow...just...wow. Also, it occurs to me, that Vinny would probably not fight defensively at this point, so yeah.
Darin the Cheerful |
Darin will join in the attacks on the bad man.

Grumble, grumble, grumble.
Bear the Bear |
Large creatures can move through 5' squares, just costs double the movement. Sorry when I looked at the map originally I thought I was large and actually I was enlarged when I started to destroy the first rune and was still enlarged when we started to enter this room. If it is a major concern we can say I am a medium sized Bear, just reduce the damage by 1 on any attacks. I overlooked Heroism from my attacks so they would actually be 1 better than the above rolls.
I am attacking the Naga.
Unalaq |
Confusion is a 15-foot burst. He may have gotten one of his guys too and got more of us.
Will save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18
Guess that means I make it...
Unalaq drops the bow, draws his sword and steps up to the swordsman engaged with Bear, attacking him with his club. He also prays to Tolc for healing.
Swift action to lay on hands.
Lay on Hands: 5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 2, 5) = 18 HP 85/92
Move action to move 5 feet and draw. Please move me since I'm on a mobile phone.
Standard action to attack. No smite.

Before I start gutting my party: I should have gotten an attack of opportunity on the other, yes?
1d20 + 11 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 11 + 1 + 2 = 22
1d8 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

not that it matters.

Did he catch us all Mini?

OK then, back to smashy smashy.

Fernus Stonecall |
Will Save Fernus: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Phew ^^
Fernus casts Mage Armor on himself and then tries to get closer by moving behind Unalaq.
AC is bumped to 21/16/17

26–50 Do nothing but babble incoherently
51–75 Deal 1d8 points of damage + Str modifier to self with item in hand
76–100 Attack nearest creature (for this purpose, a familiar counts as part of the subject's self)
Injured and dripping with blood, the embattled grizzly turns on the the person that attacked, seeking to exact vengeance. The Bear shifts onto the other side of him then attacks.
5' shift north into the flank then attack.

Vincente Valentino Valdemar |
1d100 ⇒ 91
Attack Nearest, I assume that would be the guy directly since angles are odd.
Changing his grip on the spear, he slams it into the face of the greatsword wielder.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 11 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 11 + 1 - 4 = 18
1d8 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

I assume I would not be able to 5' back to spear the guy. If I can, then add 4 to each of those rolls, in which case the second one was hopefully a hit. If not, then I don't think 22 has been seen to hit...

I hope his name is Greatsword, and he really wanted to be a ballet dancer but was pressured into become a greatsword wielder by his parents because it would make sense.
