Eloviel |
"Excuse me ladies... nice song Vanea, it makes me wonder how long it too you to compose it." says Eloviel as she moves in front of Natalia. Then, without a clear shot, she holds her bow ready to shoot if any enemies breaks through the others.

The quasit commands Max to flee, and on his way out the eagle tries to attack him but misses. It then turns it's attention to Rohan while the elemental turns focus to Blue.

Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |
Fearing much further action from the quasit, Nic draws upon the arcane energies within his blood, summoning forth from his family ring via his Arcane Bond a last set of Magic Missiles shaping these bolts like the draconic heads upon it's crest. Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 2) + 4 = 7 including the bonuses from his Intense Spells and Vanea's Bardic influence. Leave my friends to be, you prikazash.
Vanea Lothmatis |
damn it Ditzie. Can't move my token again...Am i the only one? I was supposed to be between Max and Rohan at the preceding round.
Now that the eagle is dead,Vanea rushes to the battle, lowering her mace on the quasit and trying to keep enough breath to continue singing

That will get her attention..

Sigh... the people blocking my way are too large to shoot past...
Eloviel gives up aiming her arrow and simply drops her bow. She draws her gladius while moving forward (just below Max) and thrusts it up at the quasit.

Blue and Nu |
Some confusion occurred with the map. Blue was magically transported back to his space before he became frightened and ran away, incurring two attacks of opportunity, and then stealthy advanced slowly back down the corridor. He was not there for the elemental to attack this round, because getting back to that square would have subjected him to another two attacks of opportunity. I've rectified Blue's position (eight squares from the north-south corridor on the left) and moved him forward for this round.
Blue abandons his stealth and moves back down the corridor into the room until the quasit is in view. There he places one of the tangleshot arrows in his bow and fires.
tangleshot: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 8 - 4 = 5
Still deeply fearful of the demon, Blue fails his aim and sends the arrow into the ceiling, where the alchemical adhesive leaves it sticking fast.

Vanea Lothmatis |
Still determined to put an end to the quasit wretched life, Vanea throws all her force in the next blow.
At least, she hits an high note.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Bardic Performance 4/7. Just a question for the GM: if the quasit was casting a spell (Daze on Rohan), shouldn't i get an AoO?
jimibones83 |
The beautiful cleric steps forward and connects with a mighty blow, a connection shes use to making no doubt (gigitty) and Natalia scorches her with another bolt of energy. The quasit fights on, though she does appear to be in bad shape.

Though the quasit has taken a pounding, it has failed to fall. Nic starts to worry as his magical energies wan low. He calls out to Erastil for support, Old Father, let my aim be true, your favor my strength as he hurls a Force Missile shaped like an arrow at the she-witch for Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4.
Nic holds tight to his staff, fearing he may soon need to take the fight to the demon toe to toe.
jimibones83 |
Blue and Nu |
Blue attempts to make up for his poor display by firing a regular arrow at the quasit, but first he moves forward five feet to get past the valiant Vanea.
arrow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Fearful of seeing another ally fall to the monstrosity, Blue burns a hero point to roll again, hoping for better luck.
arrow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Alas, there is no room for the Green Faith this far down in the tunnels below Sandpoint where the mother of monsters reigns.
Vanea Lothmatis |
Natalia may be too far maybe to get the bonus from my bardic song, but Nicolae forgot 1 point of damage on the preceding round. And sorry GM, but I had no answer about the attack of opportunity earlier when the quasit cast a Daze spell. Bardic Performance 5/7
Vanea's beautiful voice becomes strained and hoarser, but she manages to keep on singing while attacking the quasit
attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
But the spawn of Lamashtu easily dodges the clumsy attack
Vanea Lothmatis |
AoO attack on same round: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

another wild swing miss totally the quasit, and Vanea gets even more furious, full of a religious fervor.
Can't you stop moving so I bash your womb out of your c****! We'll see if you keep Lamasthu's favor after that, fiend!
Yes, the half elf is vulgar.
But then, Lamashtu and her servants ARE a vulgar insult to Calistria playful lust.
jimibones83 |
"My cunt carries no womb mortal. And soon, neither will yours!" With that the quastit goes into melee attack mode on Vanea. The elemental continues it's assault on Rohan.

"Last one, gotta make it count." Nic takes aim at the quasit, calling upon Desna for help. Lady Luck give us your blessings casting his last Force Missile shaped like a starknife at the demon. Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 including the Intense Spells and Bardic bonuses. Like Vanea said, Nic did forget to include the bardic bonus once previously.
Nic then moves a 5' Step up diagonally along the wall, staff in hand, to aid Rohan against the elemental. Hope a flanking bonus will help.

After many attepts, Rohan finally lands a blow on the elemental, and a devastating one at that. The elemental becomes furious and strikes back in anger. Nic and Natalia both land addition energy missiles but her focus remains on Venea, who is struck repeatedly despite her defensive stance.

Nic tries to follow up on the opening Rohan created, wanting to aid the warrior. He calls upon Desna again, Needing your blessings o' winged wonder. He swings his staff hard at the elemental, aiming for the fractures Rohan created.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Flank bonus only, did not add bonuses from Vanea, not sure if she stopped singing
A hard swing, but not as true nor accurate as hoped, only chipping the creature's stony exterior.
Vanea Lothmatis |

attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

The flurry of blows from the quasit cut lightly the beautiful half elf smooth skin, but the vile poison take its toll, making her moves less fluidly.
Nevertheless, she still seems possessed by a religious fervor and an hateful rage, and her mace hits the foul fiend on the side of a wing.
Vanea emerald's eyes flash with a grim pleasure, but she don't dare taunting the quasit, keeping her sparce breath for singing the last verses of a battle hymn
Sorry, just noticed my light mace should have done 1d6 damage per blow, not 1d8."Fortunately", I hit it only once, for 7 damage including my Bardic Performance bonus, so here's my new roll for damage if you want it:1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Blue and Nu |
Blue drops his useless bow and his backpack, steps forward and attempts to grapple the quasit.
cmb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
If he succeeds, he holds her tight and calls out, "Someone 'and me my backpack... quick!"
Max Willard |
Max swings at the creature with his great axe hit: 5 + 1d20 ⇒ 5 + (7) = 12
damage: 6 + 1d12 ⇒ 6 + (8) = 14
edit: oh take two rounds worth of actions, okay strike again hit: 5 + 1d20 ⇒ 5 + (7) = 12
damage: 6 + 1d12 ⇒ 6 + (11) = 17
not sure if his attacks count as flanking or not, which would mean 14/14 for attacks.
jimibones83 |
Winded, the group fails to make any gain, but their foes continue their assault, dropping Rohan in the process.
Slam: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

You take 1d2 ⇒ 1 more Dex damage.

Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |
Nic cringes as the stony creature takes another shot at Rohan, felling the unfortunate warrior. He sidesteps 5' Step to provide a flank bonus for Max as he moves that warrior wades into the fight, defending his fallen associate. Abadar hear me, judge us worthy of victory, we need your aid.
Failing previously and seeing just how hard it was for Rohan to hit this thing, Nic tries to draw it's attention while taking a Total Defense stance, AC increased to 20

Vanea's song eminates but the recognition of the final notes wake Eloviel from her reverie. Listening for a momet to pick up the rhythm, Eloviel also starts to Inspire Courage.

A miracle happens...
As she hears Eloviel's voice, picking and carrying the song, Vanea smiles.
But there is always a barb hiding under the smile...
It's about time, Eloviel! What took you so long? Hey, what note was that? You're not supposed to sing that song like that!
Facing the quasit with a renewed determination
Now you're doomed, Foul creature! You should have surrender earlier... Now we must use the heavy weaponry: suffer the horror of Eloviel's singing!
