No, he has a small wooden box. Open it, mabe there is a spell book inside!
Captain Albrecht |
I don't expect diplomacy to work all that well, I am just working for a change from murdery to less-murdery. :)
Rhea Stardust |
Klrorak answers Ivar: Splendid question, Ulfen. You look like a sailor. List the planets for me. There is Aballon, Castrovel, Golarion...
Rhea Stardust |
Ivar would know them, right?
Rhea Stardust |
Klorak rolls his eyes at Ivars. Do none of you know? He smiles at Tusara as she eyes the box. Stayin IC. Tushe Ivar...haha!
Captain Albrecht |
Albrecht looks up at Ivar just a tiny bit mischievously.
{b]I sink he means for you to list zem big guy.[/b] Looking back at Klorak
No vee can't blame you for protecting your pursuits just like zee others can't be blamed for protecting zemselves from crazy wizards. But zat is behind us now and you say you vill accept allies. So all is good zen.
Albrecht holds out his hand before he remembers about the bindings. Heh, sorry. Then he looks back and forth between him and Ivar listening to the explanation about planets.
Bayani Nishou |
A wizard with a home base that he plans to return to will probably leave his spellbook there instead of carrying it around with him. Bayani has his with him because he has no way of knowing where -- or with whom -- he'll be sleeping tonight.
"Let's be reasonable here. I'm as annoyed at you that our devotions were interrupted, Merelinda, and I think Klorak needs to make it up to us in some way. On the other hand, he was here first and does have a certain degree of primacy. I think working together to gain knowledge would help us all." He takes the tengu's hand and says, "I am prepared to swear by Nethys that we will work with you to find what is in this tomb, and share it with you fairly." Edit: removed threat, since he seems to be working with us now.
Bayani Nishou |
Taking 10 on Knowledge(arcana) for 17. I think that ought to do it, since I'm sure astronomy is a part of an ordinary wizarding education.
"I can't think of one called the Traveler, but Triaxis is known as the Wanderer -- is that the one you mean? Your astrological traditions may differ from those I was taught. The seventh -- or sixth depending on how one counts Eox -- from the Sun."
Merelinda Falvian |
Stupid forum ate my earlier post!
As the crow continues to squawk, Merelinda smirks, an auburn eyebrow arching. "And I am a pissed off woman, but not so pissed as to reject allies, should any allies present a reasonable bargain. I have yet to hear your bargain, bird. Can you tell us of these traps? Tell us of what you hope to find down there? Spare the astronomy lesson, speak plainly!"
At Bayani's words, she relaxes a touch, nodding to him. "Perhaps he has a better claim...but chose instead to attack us without explanation. We owe him nothing. Let us hear what he has to say before we release him." She stands close by, arms folded, waiting.
Rhea Stardust |
damn work. I read you'lls posts hours and hours ago but just now sitting down to respond. *sigh*
Klorak answers: It goes: Sun, Aballon, Castrovel, Golarion, Akiton. There are afew other celestial bodies after that. And then the big ones. I believe this "traveler" was from Akiton - it is said he had six arms! Exhuming the body will verify that... And I believe you can still get there from whatever portal or device he used centuries ago - in the tomb! Power from alien artifacts such as these is bound to last, don't you agree?
Rhea Stardust |
of course this is DnD, so if you guys don't want to bother with a side quest to Akiton, it shall trouble me not! I have plenty of other evil dangers prepared for the likes of you...
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
more curious about the tomb than the entombed Ivar draws out the tengu's dagger and cutting him loose, then returning the dagger, he asks
so how do we get in the tomb, and how do we get past the traps to get to the treasures?
Once the bird is standing Ivar reaches out his hand to shake and says
I'm Ivar, you know our guide Zamoozi
edit: bite your tongue, its pathfinder I say pathfinder, no DnD here at all
Merelinda Falvian |
The priestess glares at Ivar as he releases the tengu-thing. She makes no move to give the bird-man back his spell components, going so far as to tie them around her own waist.
Once that is done, she crosses her arms once again, waiting for the reply on how to get in the tomb.
Rhea Stardust |
Set free? I should TPK you now, mwahaha! Except it would be very unfun. Long term.
Klorak ignores Zamoozi. He walks to the door. Placing his hand on the concentric circles in a certain pattern, they begin to glow and a golden-sounding hum is emitted from the door. Then in a sparkle of light, the door simply VANISHES.
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
Ivar extends his hand in the international sign of after you hoisting his axe and shield he says to the bird-man
after you, Zamoozi and I will be right behind,
he then, smiling, asks Aerys
Aerys, would you be a dear and keep one of those pistols leveled at Klorak, please
perception: 1d20 ⇒ 3
how wide is the Hallway? Never mind, I think Ivar walked into a wall
Captain Albrecht |
Good now if Klorak turns on us he will take 1d8 damage before immediately killing us all. Ahh the wonders of hit points :D
Albrecht, mounted on Bartimaeus, Ivar and Zamoozi. He begins questioning everyone in general.
So zee man in zee tomb is from zee sky? And vee are lookink for treasure but also lookink for a vay to go to vere he is from?
Bayani Nishou |
Bayani draws two Chakrams and walks behind Klorak, keeping a close eye on the wizard as well as looking around for any danger.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Is it apparent how far ahead the tunnel leads?
Rhea Stardust |
yet another busy day. Gotta do some map work then we will crawl the dungeon.
Rhea Stardust |
You can see down the tunnel all the way to what looks like a natural cavern. In the center of this cavern is a block monument of some kind. MAP UPDATED. Klorak walks with you, he seems to be a bit nervous and excited. Aerys trains her flintlock on his back. Don't be trying anything, Kaw-man.
