@ All: I guess I didn't realize that heim applied the 1/2 dragon template which is needed for his toon and story when he created him.
So: to even the playing field we have several options.
you may pick one:
1) add a template that brings your total ECL to 1 (1/2 dragon, 1/2 celestial, fiendish, and the like.
or
2) you may take an additional level in your class.
Just let me know what you decide and adjust sheets as needed.

but half Dragon is always two levels lost to the temple
means wile we are all level 3 in class the half dragon in the party is level 1 in class as two levels of XP are taken to the template

with 13 points, means he can be that shape and look, just have a race name. As it is hes PC is way more powerful than ours as a build.
Tiefling is a 13 RP point build.
creating-new-races#example-tiefling
Drop half Dragon and have Dragon like race in its place.
Dragon (10 RP)
A dragon is a reptilian creature with magical or unusual abilities. A dragon race has the following features.
Dragons have the darkvision 60 feet racial trait.
Dragons have the low-light vision racial trait.
Dragons are immune to magical sleep effects and paralysis effects.
Dragons breathe, eat, and sleep.
Normal Speed (0 RP): The race has a base speed of 30 feet.
Weakness (–1 RP): Members of this race gain a +2 bonus to one physical ability score, a +2 bonus to one mental ability score, and a –4 penalty to any other ability score.
So +2 Str +2Wis -4Cha
Xenophobic (0 RP): Members of this race start with their racial language only. Races without a racial language cannot take this array. Furthermore, choose up to four languages (except for Druidic or other secret languages), one of which must be Common (or Undercommon, if the race is native to the Darklands). Members of this race with high Intelligence scores can choose from any of these additional languages.
Flight (4 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race have a fly speed of 30 feet with clumsy maneuverability.
Special: This trait can be taken more than once. For each additional 2 RP spent, the race's fly speed increases by +10 feet, and the maneuverability improves by one step.
13RP
its some thing like the above or you gave us all 2 more levels
What I am saying is all our PCs come in at llRP wile Heimdallr Kralkatorrikson comes in a 40+RP that 4 times as power full.
Dragon (10 RP)
A dragon is a reptilian creature with magical or unusual abilities.
A dragon race has the following features:
Dragons have the darkvision 60 feet racial trait.
Dragons have the low-light vision racial trait.
Dragons are immune to magical sleep effects and paralysis effects.
Dragons breathe, eat, and sleep.
Medium (0 RP)
Medium races have no bonuses or penalties due to their size. A Medium creature has a space of 5 feet by 5 feet and a reach of 5 feet.
Normal Speed (0 RP)
The race has a base speed of 30 feet.
Advanced (4 RP)
Prerequisites: Advanced or monstrous power level.
Modifiers: Pick either mental or physical ability scores. Members of this race gain a +2 bonus to all of those scores, a +4 bonus to one score of the other type, and a –2 penalty to one other ability score of the other type.
Xenophobic (0 RP)
Members of this race start with their racial language only. Races without a racial language cannot take this array. Furthermore, choose up to four languages (except for Druidic or other secret languages), one of which must be Common (or Undercommon, if the race is native to the Darklands). Members of this race with high Intelligence scores can choose from any of these additional languages.
Advanced Strength (4 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race receive a +2 racial bonus to Strength.
Special: This bonus can be taken multiple times, but each additional time it is taken, its cost increases by 1 RP. Its effects stack.
Fiendish Resistance (3 RP)
Prerequisites: Outsider (native) with ties to Abaddon, the Abyss, or Hell.
Benefit: Members of this race gain cold resistance 5, electricity resistance 5, and fire resistance 5.
Natural Armor (2 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race gain a +1 natural armor bonus to their Armor Class.
Flight (6 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race have a fly speed of 30 feet with clumsy maneuverability.
Special: This trait can be taken more than once. For each additional 2 RP spent, the race's fly speed increases by +10 feet, and the maneuverability improves by one step.
Breath Weapon (1 RP)
Prerequisites: Aberration, construct, dragon, humanoid (reptilian), monstrous humanoid, or outsider (native) with ties to an elemental plane.
Benefit: Choose one of the following energy types: acid, cold, electricity, or fire. If the creature is an outsider (native), it must have ties to an elemental plane, and it must pick an energy that corresponds to the plane it has ties to (acid [earth], cold [water], electricity [air], or fire [fire]). Then pick either a 15-foot cone or a 20-foot line. Once per day, as a standard action, members of this race can make a supernatural breath weapon attack that deals 1d6 points of the damage type chosen in the area chosen. All creatures within the affected area must make a Reflex saving throw to avoid taking damage. The save DC against this breath weapon is 10 + 1/2 the user's character level + the user's Constitution modifier. Those who succeed at the save take no damage from the attack.
Special: You can take this trait more than once. Each time you do so, the cost of this trait increases by 1 RP. When do, you can augment the breath weapon in the following ways (augmentations marked with an asterisk [] can be taken more than once).
Extra Breath: The member of this race can use its breath weapon an additional time per day.
Increased Area: Increase the cone's size to 30 feet or the line to 50 feet.
Increased Damage: Increase the damage by an additional d6.
Powerful Breath: The breath weapon deals half damage on a failed saving throw.
Bite (1 RP)
Prerequisites: Small or larger size.
Benefit: Members of this race gain a natural bite attack, dealing damage equivalent to that of a creature two size categories lower than normal for their size (1d2 for Small races, 1d3 for Medium, etc.). The bite is a primary attack, or a secondary attack if the creature is wielding manufactured weapons.
Special: This trait can be taken up to two times. The second time it is taken, the bite damage increases by one size category.
Claws (2 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race receive two claw attacks. These are primary natural attacks. The damage is based on the creature's size.
Scent (4 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race gain the scent ability.
37RP
As you can see his PC is just about 3x as powerful as ours at 1st level

My own opinion us that at this point it's up to Heimdallr. If the dragoon-like recreation is acceptable to him as part of his character concept, then that's the easy fix. Rebuild one character instead of 4. If he feels it's essential as it is-and you're willing to let it stand-give us the two level adjustment. But in the end I'm good with whatever.

I think this option is reasonable.
Though I would like to be able to revert back to the original design when the appropriate level has been reached by the group. So I propose that for the duration that we are level 1, I take the redesigned race as suggested. Upon reaching level 2, instead of taking a level I take an additional hit dice so as to not be lagging behind the group. Once we reach level 3 I revert back to my original build. It's fair to the group, I eventually get the character build I wanted, and since I use hero lab all it takes to implement is clicking some buttons. Is this agreeable to everyone?

I think in that case we just level to 3, nothing wrong in that, a lot of games start at higher levels than one and its no so much a rebuild for the rest of us. + if you wish to add half/what ever guys you can.
Me I vote we take 3 levels or get to spend 40Rp on out own custom race's (never done that before and sounds fun) That way every one gets 40 points and PC with Level hit of 2.
well thats my vote

I think I may go for half-celestial Fox just for the madness of it, just love the idea of a celestial Fox, Im going to play it so her wings are part of her Fox form only, when she shifts to human no wings, just seems a lot more fun and in keeping with her id, She will really be like thing out of myth

Ok all done, she looks cool now, Note wile in Human form that's just what she looks like, and some out side parts of being a half-celestial Fox do not show and are not usable like Bite and wings, shes looking cool and I like her, its nice to have a PC with two sides thats not and undead or Ware-something.

Ware-dorf! By day, unassuming dwarf with beardly might. But should he be drafted into the militia, he becomes super-dorf, Superdorfenly strong and capable of grabbing and throwing a goblin by its eyelids across entire fields to splat against the nearest solid object!
Miya, do I understand correctly that your avatar is now your human form appearance? I read your original backstory and it looked like it was something you tried to hide. Also, the half-celestial template is really awesome! I also play a half-celestial wood elementalist which is awesome.

Thats how she looks when in Fox form, none of you have seen her as such, shes always in human form around humans, like in the inn but looking at the group I think human may not be a problem once outside.
So yes that her fox look but shes only looks like that once in a wile.
Me bad with the Dwarf think have no Idea why I thought you where I ready your pc race line. Must have had a brain-fart.
On another not my EngD supervise just called me and said I need to get my ass going to get it done. So I may be posting less or cutting down other games not this one I like this one.

looks good jim. n
o worries Tess and Ghorum
I am focused somewhat on family for a bit. still trying to do some of this during the time
my wife is due to have a kiddo between this sunday and next so things are abit chaotic getting ready for that and visiting family seemsing they all live out of state.
I do appreciate you all taking initiative with game. It helps me to see personality and how your character interacts with the world. Thus I am better able to tailor what we are doing to fit and be fun I hope

Tess. you are able to gather and buy the items needed to make 1d12 fireworks of the same kind you have. price is cost of firework x number of fireworks minus 1/4 the overall price. That would be for the total number you roll. if you do not wish to purchase that amount, after giving me the rolls here, then tell me how many and the cost.

hey guys, sorry for not posting once things started back up.
I think I'm gonna bow out for a while, as my time will be limited for a bi. This is job related, so its going to be eating into my time quite a bit. So I'd rather let another have a chance to play. I think Jim and I had a neat concept, but I don't want to be the one to hold things up.
I'm OK with Ghorum being NPC'd, just let me know and I'll repost his statblock (I noticed it got deleted somehow while I was away?! - no idea if I did that or what...)
If things clear up for me sooner than expected, I'll post here.
Thanks for the opportunity.
