Unless I'm mistaken, it is currently raining, meaning that every hour that passes, the tracks will be harder to follow. Now, I understand wanting to talk to the head priest, but from the chaos in the temple, I'm pretty sure he is quite busy already.

My idea is to follow the human tracks left behind. I don't think the goblin tracks are going to give us much answer, but the human as to be the brain behind this. Finding he might give us more answers.

Beside, Colvyn is already on the other side of the wall...

Who cares if we leave a rat in the forest? :P :) That is an excellent point, I had not considered the rain. IMO, that makes the tracks the most time sensitive matter. Easily the most significant lead we have and it is getting washed away!

What if Slick and maybe Cade and Kargas follow the tracks (no, I'm not volunteering them, they just seem like they'd be likely to follow) while Flo, Laurana and I chat with the priest and the captive goblin?

Rig's proposal is to send Colvyn, Cade, and Kargas to follow the trail while Floredana, Laurana, and Rig speak to Father Zantus and then interrogate the captive goblins.

Alternately you could all go and do one or more of these things together.

Kargas might not be able to post so I'll assume he goes along with whatever everyone else wants to do.

I'll give you guys a few ticks to come up with a plan.

Kargas isn't present to offer his advice, but OOC: y'all should seize one of the goblins by the neck and put it somewhere it can't see or hear the other one. Then tell each goblin that the first one to spill his guts gets to live and go free, and the other one gets its head chopped off.

I doubt Chaotic Evil is well-equipped to handle a prisoner's dilemma :P

Ask him what the longhsank looks like (elf, human, etc), does he know if the the longshank was from Sandpoint, are their other attacks planned.

Kargas: I was looking at your sheet to see what skills you had and I noticed that you have Survival down as a Background Skill.

Survival is an adventuring skill. So you will need to get a point from somewhere.

Spellcraft is not especially useful when you can't cast detect magic so you might want to use the point you spent there to put into survival.

That leaves a background skill rank unspent. Since your character is well-traveled, my first thought would be knowledge (geography). Handle animal also might make sense.
