Checking into Discussion, DM Nicos. This is the avatar of Transylvanian Tadpole's character. For now I've just crudely copy-pasted all my fluff and crunch into the profile, but I'll spruce it up with some formatting as soon as the chance arises.

One question regarding languages. With an Int 10 character, would you only get Common, or would you get a local language too?

I am not planing to use the regioanl languages in the campaings, since it will be cvonfined to just vaasa and damara.

Checking in.

I made a post in the campaing thread, it is vague since I have little time, it is intended just as a little introduction to the theme of the campaing.

The Enduring citadel is intended to be a fortress under construction. It would be the base of operation for you and then you can explore the land near it.

By the way, Since I plan to use random treasure and want all treasure to be utilizable We will have the house rule that weapon focus now apply to the whole fighter weapon group.

Like for example, weapon focus (heavy blades) instead of weapon focus (longsword).

Can I change my favored enemy to goblinoids?

yes.

Elven magus hexcrafter.
Plan to move to falcatta, a more lethal weapon later.

By the way people, try to put your stats under your alias Like raelyn, but including also hit points and CMD.

Male Human Paladin 5 (Holy Tactician) | (Oath of Vengeance) |

Will get to that tonight.

Male Half Orc Druid (Blight Druid) 1

Awesome. I was able to find my old FR 'Faiths and Pantheons' hardcover.

Male Elf Ranger 1 | HP:11 | Init +3 | Perc +8 | AC:16 Tch:13 FF:13 | Fort +3 Ref +5 Will +2 | CMD:16 |

I think I had that book too, it was really good!

Male Half Orc Druid (Blight Druid) 1

I don't see a deity listed for Raelyn. Perhaps Verd'll try and convert him by level 4 so he can get some spells too ;-).

Male Elf Ranger 1 | HP:11 | Init +3 | Perc +8 | AC:16 Tch:13 FF:13 | Fort +3 Ref +5 Will +2 | CMD:16 |

Yeah I want a deity, I can't find my copy of that book. Was there a FR deity of the hunt and his worshippers were shifters or lycanthropes of some sort? Anyone know who I mean?

Male Half Orc Druid (Blight Druid) 1

I can only think of two

There is Malar, Chaotic Evil deity of bloodlust, lycanthropes and hunters.
Then there is Selune, Chaotic Good goddess of lycanthropes and the moon. (Not so much about hunting)

Gwaeron Windstrom god of rangers and tracking maybe. He is a northern god.

Male Elf Ranger 1 | HP:11 | Init +3 | Perc +8 | AC:16 Tch:13 FF:13 | Fort +3 Ref +5 Will +2 | CMD:16 |

Malar is who I was thinking of. CE though, that won't work.

Male Elf Ranger 1 | HP:11 | Init +3 | Perc +8 | AC:16 Tch:13 FF:13 | Fort +3 Ref +5 Will +2 | CMD:16 |

Maybe Fenmarel Mestarine.

Male Elf Ranger 1 | HP:11 | Init +3 | Perc +8 | AC:16 Tch:13 FF:13 | Fort +3 Ref +5 Will +2 | CMD:16 |

Or Sehanine Moonbow.

look here the phanteon

There are several elven deities.

Done. DM Nicos, whilst I was working up the backstory for Deudon Thardenes, I was looking at the old AD&D sourcebook 'Powers & Pantheons' and the entry on Tiamat. Some of which follows I've tied loosely to my PC's background, but I thought it might be useful to copy some of the relevant stuff here for your reference.

It may stuff you've already seen, or irrelevant to your own imagining of the campaign area, but it might be helpful so take a peek.

Powers & Pantheons, p133:

Just as the battered Tiamat readied to return to Unther in triumph, she was attacked in her lair on the Outer Planes by a company of powerful mortals at the bequest of her ancient enemy Bahamut. In the battle, Tiamat's sole remaining avatar was destroyed. The mortals returned in triumph to Damara, earning that land Tiamat's undying enmity.

In Vaasa, the Dragon Queen slowly gathers a flight of dragons about the ruins of Castle Perilous in preparation for the day she seeks revenge against the heroes of the Bloodstone Lands.

Powers & Pantheons,p136:

The ruins of Castle Perilous, former stronghold of Zhengyi the Witch-King, cloak a hidden temple to Tiamat in the stronghold's dungeons. The Wings of the Queen Reborn, as the cavernous cathedral is known, experiences frequent visits from the Undying Queen, who seems to have made it her home away from home. Since the fall of the Witch-King in the Year of the Serpent (1359 DR), chromatic dragons of all hues have been gathering amidst the blasted mound of rubble on a lonely crag in the Vaasan wasteland. Reconnaissance flights of evil wyrms have been ranging over Damara in preparation for their queen's vengeance. A handful of Tiamat's priests have been rebuilding many of the dungeons in Castle Perilous in preparation for garrisoning the citadel with an army of cultists. Agents of the temple have ranged throughout the north seeking the corpses and eggs of metallic dragons on which the Undying Queen must feast if she is to continue to grow in undead power.

That is pretty good information.

In case you decide to fight I forgot to told you about a houserule about initiative.

it is simple. Initiative will be rolled once. the average innitiative of the group against the average initiative of the enemies. Then (whole) group that wins act first followed by the whole of the other group.

Individual initiative tend to kill PbP games sadly.

That's a good rule, I like it. A lot of OSR games do this houserule (Swords and Wizardry, Lamentations of the Flame Princess).

Ok.

Do you roll initiative for us?

Yes. BUt as they have not noticed you you have a surpirse round.
