Ack! Sorry guys, forgot the stats for each of them.

Same as before, the two human pirates are: AC 15, HP 11. saves are fort +3, ref +2, Will +1

The Half Orc Pirate:
AC: 11 HP 14
Fort:+4 Ref:+1 Will:+1

The Mage:
AC 12, HP:9
Fort: 0, Ref: 1, Will: 4

Round 1

Edgar's dagger flies from his grasp, sailing through the air towards the mage, aimed straight and true... only to clatter off the man's face as harmlessly as if Edgar had thrown his knife at a wall.

Damn wizards... Sin mutters to his shipmate, before examining their surroundings alongside Edgar, The navigator wasn't wrong, the tunnel would let them bottleneck the pirates three across. Watching the first of the pirate's charge up the rampway towards them, they saw that the narrow walkway down would allow them one to one!

"Find a way to deal with the mage!" Sin calls to Edgar, before springing into motion - and right over the edge!

Sin's rolls:

The ninja launch himself over the side, plummeting towards the upcoming pirate, his dagger drawn to strike. However he lands on a loose piece of rock, his footing lost he clatters to the ground, sliding towards his oncoming opponent with a yelp of pain.

Leaping on the fallen lag, the pirate wastes no time and no mercy, his blade driving into Sin's gut, through a slit in the armor and right out the other side. Sin's eyes go wide as he coughs a spray of blood before slipping off the briggand's blade and tumbling to the floor below.

Sinders is at -1 hp and dropping

by this point, Tellar has moved halfway down the rampway, seeing Sin skewered and tossed to the ground below, his impaler charging him with a howl of rage that - while as deadly as his first attack, his nowhere near as accurate, swinging wide of the old priest.

which is as much info as I have for this round, least till I get to Phaedra.

Eaton has already picked up the pace, racing down the corridor toward the sound of the shouting. He knows he's late, he just assumed that the fellows ahead wouldn't be TOO far ahead to spoil his aid. Light armor fits him well, and he skims over puddles and rough rock to try and close with the nearest group of pirates, his sword held low and to one side as he races to place himself intentionally between Phaedra (who's magical powers seem to be working quite well WITHOUT a spellbook or component pouch!) and the ruffians who put them all in this position to start with.

Hurrah! Cinematic full-move!

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen an Attack of opportunity work out so well for a beleaguered party in my entire DM career. I feel I need to leave all those rolls there just to show I'm not flubbing to save you guys.

Eaton charges past the ladies and Edgar, coming out of the mouth of the passage and pivoting on his heel to sprint down towards Tellar, hoping to give the old priest some cover, his hand axe hanging from his side, his bow strapped across his back and his scimitar in hand.

With a roar of pure fury, the muscled Half orc hefts what can an old and massive looking great sword - a blade almost as tall as himself made from a rough and well dented steel - bound together by dark straps of leather, the weapon has an almost primal feel to it. Holding it easily in one hand the Orcling Charges straight for Eaton - and does so not by heading for the pathway up, but the wall itself!

Coiling his legs the Half-Orc springs forward and grabs a handhold in the rock, pulling himself into a second jump that brings him face to face with Eaton - great sword already poised to cave the noble's skull in.

But Young Lord Starse - reputation aside is hardly helpless - and acting on instinct as much as anything - twists himself towards the brute and drives the curve of his scimitar into the Orc's ribs,

the brawny pirate's eyes go wide as he gasps in pain and loses his still precarious footing. With a yell of anguish he tumbles backwards, slamming back into the floor below with a splattering thwuck! his sword clattering harmlessly aside.

Half-Orc is at -1

"Thrakao!" The mage cries in alarm, seeing the Orc fall. His eyes wide with Fear - he throws his hand out and a bolt of blue energy flies out, swerving unerringly towards Eaton, Slamming into his chest.

For a moment, the mage stumbles, his eyes drooping, before he shakes his head and snaps up in alarm, his eyes darting around the room and towards those still unseen at the mouth of the tunnel. With a snarl he throws his fist back to slam into the cage of the raven,

"So the little Witch woke up, eh!? Come on out girl and I'll end your abominable life quick!"

Lord Starse is, for just a moment, flat-footed. He calls out derisively to the mage as his chest aches red agony beneath his untouched armor, blistered skin sticking secretly to the inside of the metal-studded shell. "Ow? ... Seriously? Magic Missile!? All of reality to bend and you choose magic missile...? You may as well have chosen..."

Eaton's fingers move in a blur as his free hand jives unerringly through the somatic component while he speaks, ending perfectly with the word "Varcaussss!" which trails off in a sibilant hiss as a green streamer sprays away from his finger, slithering through the air toward the pirate which can't reach him because of the bend of stone that makes up the ramp upward. Secretly injured, he's happy to let the ice-armored priest take the vanguard, his own blade poised and ready to injur and insult any who try to rush the ramp toward the vulnerable ladies upstairs.

With any luck, Emelia will be able to score a hit from her vantage above and a few ranged strikes, while he tries to block the way up to them.

Touch attack vs Any Pirate Standing and not in melee (shouldn't be hard to get out of melee) subject to revision if everything is different by the start of Eaton's actual next turn. Initiative is weird in PbP. -.- 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 vs Touch AC 1d3 ⇒ 3 Acid Damage if hits.

If 17 hits Touch AC:
The acid spirals and sputters, and only a few drops splatter onto the thug, but the lay true against his skin with dramatic effect. There's a pop noise, like bacon bursting in the pan, and fat and skin is eaten away. Flesh yellows and blackens where the acid lays, poisoning the blood and hissing violently as if in answer to the hissed command the Magus cried when he conjured it.

Moving up towards the ramp for a better view, Phaedra's emerald eyes flash with fury as she yells out: "You had best leave my Jocelynn alone!" She looks angry enough to charge the mage empty-handed.

Not knowing what else to do, Phaedra casts Spark upon the parchment the mage was writing on and hopes that it burns easily, hoping to at least distract him.

2nd Pirate Atk vs. Edgar 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Dmg 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

The pair of pirate lackeys each turn back to back, planting their feet firmly on the narrow pathway, and each slices for their opponent. In Edgar's case, the young sailor twists his body to avoid the blade,

Because both of the pirate thugs are in combat with other PCs on a space that's only 5 feet wide, I'll assume Eaton fires back at the mage himself

The acid hisses against that rival spellcaster's arm, who howls in pain before retorting back, "What can I say boy, I've a love for the classics!" His fingers contort again as his hand juts out and a second bolt of blue energy flies out, slamming into Eaton's gut!

DM Rolls:
Mage dmg 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Eaton takes 2 points of dmg and is at 1 hp

The mage smirks at his latest hit, until Phaedra's spell is completed and the parchment he was so furiously scribbling at a moment ago bursts into flame. "NO!" he cries in horror and turns back to try and smother the flames.

As he does, Emilia comes running down the ledgeway, feet skipping nimbly over the stone, "Eaton, the bow!"

Understanding her intent, Eaton quickly unsnaps the quiver and lets it fall to the ground, while tossing the bow to Emilia with his free hand.

The noblewoman catches it and slides to her knees at Eaton's feet, grabbing an arrow from the ground and taking aim,

more DM rolls:

Okay. Enough posturing. And enough of that damned magic missile! Eaton is barely hanging on, on the verge of shock. His agonized cry rings out as he is struck by a second of those missiles, and he nearly drops to his knees. Black-spots swarming in his vision fight for the multicolored bursts of light and he swings his blade defensively as he staggers where he stands. He has nowhere to go. Can't move up the ramp with Emelia in his way, can't move down with Tellar in his way. So with nowhere left to run, he hurls another blast of acid at the mage, snarling "Your spells are -so- mine, amateur. I just hope you have something better than..."

Once again he relies on the most basic of battle cantrips, hurling a streamer of green acid with a hissed "Varcausssssss!" And it flies true! The slithering striking bolt of venomous green once again spatters true into the mage, boiling it's way smoking through his sleeve as he throws up an ash-smeared hand even in the middle of his frantic fire-patting to guard his face, flesh boiling away in single little droplets and the yellow-black corruption spreading away from the tiny injuries.

Yayyyyy! We survived another combat!

The adrenaline from the fight can only go so far, and on his last breaths Eaton almost collapses as the other pirates surrender. His arms fall limply to his sides, and for just a second he sags heavily, the life going out of him, until Phaedra grabs him in a gleeful hug "Oh...hohoho!" his shout of pain is interrupted by a gasp and a laugh as arcane energy forces a conduit to the positive and floods his system, undoing everything the wizard had done to him but the last wisps of fatigue.

By the time the spell clears he's bouncing along with her and laughing honestly, fluttering his eyes as he snaps back to invigoration. "Well -done- ladies. Nice fighting, gentlemen. Now let's see if we can't supplement our diminished effects, hmmm?" Jocelyn croaks her happy greeting and Phaedra goes to release her, so Eaton goes to the stuck mage to claim the spell component pouch and see if the man has anything else of use or value on him. Tellar has the pirates well pinned down. "Mister Arrowni, Mister Sinders, if you'd see to liberating this cave of anything hidden? Master Priest, you've those men well enough in hand?" Eaton has every intent of going straight from the mage to the desk. What -were- those papers he was so all-fired concerned about? And are they a pyre now?

The Rogue's still there, Only one on it would be Cap'n Derevish... and maybe some of his Grindylow pets."
He nods to the stack of crates behind the mage's desk, "Dramis kept some potions in there, not sure what he's got though."

While Edgar starts searching the room, the helpful pirate guides him verbally. He finds a few pouches of coppers and silvers near the cots. Cracking into a larger stack of crates near the sparring circle reveals some more useful items. One case holding a spear and a massive looking club. An old dummy is garbed in a sturdy set of leather armor buried under some old rags is a shield almost as tall as edgar, black with a screaming eagle cast in gold swooping down upon it's front. In one case he even finds a brand new set of half-plate, gleaming to an almost mirror shine with the holy symbol of Ioemedae cast upon its chest.

Searching the Mage's body, Eaton finds the man's component pouch - filled with the basics of the trade - as well as a brown leather bound book, it's cover bleached and spotted with salt stains, the inside pages covered with the familiar etchings of arcane writings.

The desk contains little else of value, an inkwell and the aforementioned cases behind it. Inside them Eaton finds five vials of a glowing blue liquid stoppered with cork - recognizable as healing potions - as well as another vial with a tawny golden liquid inside.

While this happens, Emilia works to strip the Orc of anything of use, pulling off the studded bracers, and dragging the massive greatsword away from him as well.

No one has any sacks, satchels, backpacks, bandoleers, or even pocketed cloaks? What was he carrying the spell-book *in*? :)

Lord Starse rises from the desk, setting the bottles out carefully atop it. Counting out around the party nodding, he hrrrms softly. "I don't know about all of you... but a break and an ambush sounds rather ideal to me. How do you feel about settling down here for a bit of a nine hour break? -My- spellbook isn't here, and this one won't do me any good, but it'll give Phaedra and Master Priest a chance to recharge, and me a chance to get over my injuries. If their pirate captain comes through into the dark we'll have him at an advantage, not knowing if we're here or moved on. If he fails to check on his men, we'll have at him in the morning with fresh ability and fresh resolve."

Well, we found Phaedra's spellbook... Where's Eaton's!? With read magic prepared he can get detect magic prepared, and once he has those, well, the world is his mollusk of choice. But until he has access to those spells, he's stuck with mage hand, prestidigitation, and acid splash!

there's an empty belt pouch, I don't see what your issue is, :p

Still holding on to Eaton's pilfered longbow, Emilia works hard to compose herself, the adrenaline of battle causing her to literally vibrate, "I'm no caster, I can share the watch with the boys and Phaedra's bird."

Jocelyn perches herself happily on Phaedra's shoulder, giving a happy squawk as she ruffles her feathers, happy to be out of the cage.

Sin, however, is already shaking his head. "There's only one way to go that two ways we could go, towards this Captain Derevish and his ship, or back to the beach that is basically a dead end. Waiting in here puts our back to the wall. I say we try to ambush the man now, before he has time to see if anything is amiss."

Phaedra casts detect magic a few times as she help Eaton search for his spellbook and then as she examines the items they've taken from the pirates. Determining that only the bracers and greatsword are magical, she focusing her concentration on those two items.

Seeming to get frustrated looking at the sword, she switches concentration to the bracers. "I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out what about the sword is magical, but the bracers appear to give a minor bonus to the wearers strength."

Phaedra motions at the greatsword as she speaks to Eaton. "Lord Starse, would you care to see if you can figure out what the sword does?

Edgar starts to carry the items into a neat pile into the center of the room."Well, alot of cool stuff here...Ahh!" Edgar drops the tower shield, clutching his side in pain. After a moment, he slowly drags the tower shield to the middle of the room. "L-lots of good stuff... Bah...but I don't thing we can get much use out of them, unless one of you can ware heavy armor and a wield a sword as big as... well nearly as big as Phaedra." Edgar says looking at the group, none look as if they could use such weapons...

"I agree with sin. I we need to keep going before the pirates find out and retaliate. I...I don't know much about magic though, do you need time to umm... rest your magical...ness...? A short brake may not hurt, but multiple hours..."

Edgar piles the coins and gems into the beltpouch, assuming they can fit, along with the ink and the sealing wax, and hands it to Emilia. (assuming that it is not too heavy.) "Here, why don't you carry the money Emilia. We will diffidently need it when we get out of here." He then hands a healing potion out to everyone, so that they each have one. (anyone paying attention notice that leaves himself out.)
"So, what does this potion do? He says to Eaton and Phaedra, as he holds the golden potion labeled cat's grace out out to them.

After a few moments of thinking Edgar turns to the others and says quietly, so the two pirates don't hear: "We have another problem. Even if we take the ship from Captain Derevish, we need a crew to run it. There are only, 6 of us, and unless this laughing rogue is tiny, were probably going to need a crew to sail it. We might be able to baby it to Riddleport, but we run the risk of crashing and sinking it, if we can even sail it." He looks over at the pirates for a second, and looks back. "We may need some unwanted help..."

Edgar walks back over to the two pirates and asks,"What kind of boat is this Laughing Rogue, and how big is it?...Another question, where do you lot store your undivided booty. Being a pirate is more lucrative than...this."he says pointing to the pile of stuff.

Male Human (Taldan) Hexcrafter Magus 2

Lord Starse puffs out his cheeks and gives a slow nod. "Yes, you have a point. My magic-ness takes eight hours of -sleep- to reset, and I would need Miss Phaedra's help to set out immediately. I worry that without our magical resources our little band of castaways will simply be skewered, and die, but I suppose we have all these potions. Put them in the pouch and Phaedra can carry them. They're labeled, so... don't hesitate to use them if one of us is choking on our own blood!" Wide-eyed, he holds up a cautioning finger.

"As for these other weapons... please tell me I'm not the only one trained in the langschwert? I suppose no one else is trained in heavy armor? Hmmm.. interferes with my spellcasting. If we sort out the pound and a half of gold and platinum, and maybe ten silver coins, shouldn't overfill the pouch. Hopefully. We'll have to leave the armor and spellbook here, and the heavy blade if no-one else can use it. ... Hrm. Mister Arrowni, I think those bracers might accessorize your outfit quite nicely. Mmmmm... Sort the gems into the spell component pouch, and then we're off to raid the pirate?"

"And ahhhh... Cat's Grace? That's a potion of agility and speed, Edgar. Let's an old man do a jig. Among the more pleasurable potions to drink, actually. Lasts a few minutes. Tastes of butterscotch. Feels not unlike a very high quality massage from well schooled Tian women. Worth about... Mmmmm... Ten years labor for the common farm hand?"

110#+ of copper, 11#+ of silver. 50 Coins = 1 pound. There's a pile of coins there bigger than your chest, man. ^.^ No doubt it looks quite impressive. That's why dragons sleep on so much copper. A belt-pouch holds roughly a cell-phone, a pair of sunglasses in a case, and a wallet. 20% of a cubic foot isn't very big. Happily, potions are smaller than people think as well! More like a medicine cup than a shotglass.

Phaedra gives Eaton a little tug on his sleeve to get his attention and then points in the direction of the cots, hammocks and bedrolls. "If you're worried what to carry things in Lord Starse, why don't we just cut or rip up some of the bedding and tie it with rope from the hammocks for makeshift sacks to carry things in? Sometimes you have no choice but to make do with whatever you can find."

Taking the well used blade by its rather large handle and propping it on it's tip, Sin smiles cheekily at Eaton, "Since you're trained in Greatword and all..."

Emilia, for her part, has taken the discarded quiver and slipped it over her back, flexing her fingers along the bow's grip she asks Eaton, "Do you mind?" before continuing, "Whatever we decide, we should do so quickly."

Female Human Skald / 5 [HP:43 /43] / AC:17 / Saves: fort+6, reflex+3, will+4

Looking up from where she was attempting to make some improvised sacks, Phaedra replies: "My vote is to go now."

Were there hammocks in here as well that could be dismantled for rope?

Male Human (Taldan) Hexcrafter Magus 2

Eaton shakes his head quickly and waves a hand to Emelia "No no, by all means. I thought I might make use of it, but if you can shoot, and we've seen you can, please do! I guess at the moment I'm the best candidate, hmmm... hngh..." The young lord steps quickly to Sin's side and takes the greatsword with a soft grunt, wrinkling his nose and taking a few experimental swings...

"It's a very fine blade. I wonder what the commands for it are? Hmmmm... Aklo for frost or ice, if I remember correctly, is 'Tunnge'. Draconic for ice is 'Sivartil'... I'd guess from the markings it has something to do with that but..." Eaton shakes his head and half-shrugs, giving the sword a few more experimental swings "I'm afraid I'm just not sure. Unless the name is etched on the blade, or the command word is written around the hilt or pommel... Well... no time to figure it out now. Yes, if we're going to go, let's be off now then."

Female Human Skald / 5 [HP:43 /43] / AC:17 / Saves: fort+6, reflex+3, will+4

"Could we just tie them up for now?"

Male Human Oracle 2

It does sound like we should press on and this icy enchantment will not last much longer this day. We can tie the prisoners up and come back for them later. At this point Tellar lowers his voice for the group's ears only. And if we don't need them, we're only leaving them to a fate they had condemned for us.

hp 21 | AC 17 | T 13 | FF 14 | CMD 17 | F +2 | R +6 | W +1 | Init +5 | Per +6 | Hero 1

Edgar nods. "Ok, agreed. I'll tie them up."

Edgar will tie the pirates up with the 10ft ropes. If he is able to save some he does, but he does not take the chance of them getting free because he was conservative with the rope.

I don't know what kind of check this is. Used to be use rope, but that skill is gone now...

Male Human (Taldan) Hexcrafter Magus 2

The DC to escape ropes is DC 20 + the tiers CMB. Or they can try to burst free with a DC 23 strength check. No roll is necessary.

Ok then, DC 23 for either check to get out of the ropes then.

"Alright then is everyone ready? Do we have everything were taking?"

DM Rennick, let me know if there is a problem with anything we are taking. Between the homemade sacks, and the pockets in our clothes, are we able to take all the coinage besides the copper, or are we going to have to leave some/all the silver too? If it weighs us down too much, Edgar has no problem with leaving the silver.

Female Human Skald / 5 [HP:43 /43] / AC:17 / Saves: fort+6, reflex+3, will+4

"I'm ready to go." I will be glad to get out of this place. I hope that we can take the ship without much problem.

Male Human (Taldan) Hexcrafter Magus 2

Balancing the longblade on his shoulder, Eaton splays his hand in a little gesture of helplessness and smirks "Well... assuming all goes according to plan, we can always come back for it once we have our new boat..."

What did the two tied up pirates have on them? Or was that included in the loot?

Edgar nods. "Ok, lets go then. I'll take lead see if I can get a look ahead and give you guys a heads up." Edgar gets a good deal ahead of the group (maybe about 30ft or so) and tries to stay as silent as possible and to stay out of sight, ducking behind cover and such. He slowly goes down the other passage listening and looking. He is basically trying to scout if that is possible and see what the next area has in stor for them so the group can act accordingly. If he notices something, or can safely spy on the next room he returns to the party silently to report the findings.

How is everyone for HP? Sin's at 2 points, anyone else not completely healed up yet?

Sorry, each pirate has a set of leather armor on them, and a shortsword. Feel free to take what you want. As far as their belongings themselves, they would be in the list of stuff originally given.

With the group suitably armed and geared as best they can, the group sets back up into the tunnel, with Edgar taking a strong lead. They make their way back to the intersection and into the second tunnel.

Unlike the last one, this path winds its way downwards on a gentle slope. It's a natural and uneven tunnel, sometimes as wide as fifteen feet across, sometimes as tight as five or less.

DM Rolls:

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

The tunnel exits out into a large cavern. The ground is much sandier and loose than the other rooms, and about twenty paces down the tide laps up against the edge of the ground. The far end of the cave is wide and open to the world and the sea outside, bathing the entire cave in the moonlight from outside.

And there in the waters, with a gangplank running the the beach below it, is a ship!

A sleek single masted sailing ship, painted a dark navy blue with grey trim and a figure head of a man leaping forward, his arms back with a dagger in each hand and an open mouthed grin on his face. The Laughing Rogue is a fine looking ship.

While the rest of the party waits at the edge of the tunnel, Edgar prowls his way down the underground beach, using the ship's own shadow to hide him. As he draws closer, he sees a figure on the prow of the ship, dressed in a tri corner hat and a long coat, the backlight of the moon hides the rest of his features. Edgar sees him speaking to one of the octo-goblins - a grindlow - who after a moment leaps into the ocean. From the ripples of the water Edgar can see that the beast is swimming out into the open waters...

Male Human (Taldan) Hexcrafter Magus 2

I put all changes to my character on my character sheet as I see them in the combat, magic, or equipment sections. Eaton is sitting pretty on 7 HP!

Eaton has been paying attention on the way here. Heading down towards the sound of water likely means shallow puddles and pitted stone, like that dip that made him a dip last time. Charging is very difficult across this kind of terrain, which is to their advantage if they bring the pirates to them. On the other hand, stealth is their ally at the moment, and with surprise on their side, nearly anything is possible. Those lavender eyes of his track Edgar's movements as the swashbuckler slinks along the beach, right up until he completely loses sight of the man when he ducks around a rise in the tunnel floor. Edgar has fought like a demon since they started this adventure, and Eaton has appeciated it, noted it, and only now that it looks like the man may stumble into a wary pirates nest does he stop to think...

I really should tell Mister Arrowni that he's doing a fine job in this little endeavor. In fact I resolve too. Should we all live through this, lavish praise all 'round. It's all I have to bestow at the moment anyway. Since those bastards stole all the gifts I brought aboard. And my spellbook.

He keeps the plain, solid great-blade down close to his knees, resisting the urge to nervously tap the tip of the heavy, crude-seeming weapon against the stones.

Made a few changes around to the character with DM Rennick's permission, and HP went up as a result, so not too bad at the moment, but at less then half hp...Edgar won't refuse healing but he is not going out of the way to request it at this point.

Edgar will grab another short sword prior to the sneaking.

Are there any other pirates or grindlows around? If my tally is right, I think we took out 11, which means there should only be a few left, if any. If that Grindlow is going for back up, then we have a temporary advantage on the captain, but a later problem...

Are there any ropes or other ways onto the ship than the gangway, and does the gangway lead to the prow or one of the sides of the ship?

If the party cannot see him from where he is at Edgar will silently return to the party and explains what he knows. "If you guys think you can keep quiet with me then lets go. Otherwise give me a few seconds head start so I can try to put the drop on him if he notices you." and then Edgar silently makes his way back.

If the party can see him from their vantage point, Edgar waits for a moment when the captain is not looking their direction and then motions them over to the shadows of the ship.

As they come he will climb the opposite side of the boat, with a dagger in his mouth for easy access. (assuming there is a way to climb it, such as rope.) If the others are heard, he can then hopefully catch the captain by surprise from the other side of the ship. If the others are with Edgar, he whispers to each of them to try to quietly go up the gangplank, unless they want to try to climb at the ropes at the other side.

If climbing is not an option, he starts to silently make his way up the gangplank as the others start to enter the cavern, or with them right behind. He has a short sword and a dagger in each hand and if he sees a pirate or a captain emerge onto the gangplank, or if they step into a position where he has no concealment, he will throw his dagger to try to take the observer by surprise.

If unnoticed, Edgar will stay hidden at the edge of the ship to listen and sneak a few peeks to get an idea of what is happening on deck.

Whew. Sorry about this long post. I just would hate to take up days of time while asking questions while scouting so I crammed a bunch of stuff into one post... If Edgar returns to the others and they have another idea, we can stop there and I will reevaluate what Edgar does with the party, but I'd like to take advantage of the captain alone and unaware while we can... If something happens that would invalidate what Edgar is doing feel free to stop his actions and I will readjust from there.

Male Human Oracle 2

Tellar listens to Edgar's description of the situation, nodding slowly. Looking down at this leg, Tellar is unable to stop the concern in his mind about his ability to sneak on to the boat but he will give it his best.

Before the young man heads back to enact his plan Tellar reaches out and lays a hand on his shoulder, a warm blue light radiating from his palm. Some of his cuts and bruises seem to knit themselves closed as Edgar stands a little straighter. You shouldn't face an approaching storm with a leaky boat my friend.

After his scouting report but before he goes off again to actually attack the Captain or whomever, Tellar will cast Cure Light Wounds on Edgar. 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

And then the whole world hears thunder.

Eaton is, sadly, a LONG way away, and... worse still... bringing a knife to a gun-fight.

Happily, it is at least a *very big* knife!

The Iron Lord races toward the sound of gunfire, proving his heroic stupidity, having to raise the great blade into a ready stance and spoiling any remaining chance at stealth. Sand scatters beneath his feet and he hops jags and dips to reach the gang-plank at top speed.

Poor, poor Edgar. Double Move in all it's glory. We don't need acrobatics checks to double-move, only to run or charge, right?
