Eaton will spend more time on Phaedra, rather than sleeping with the easy Half-Elf, but there are allusions that he will return to riddleport and that next time...
GP now = 555gp
Eaton is now completely updated and ready for prerusal.
been slammed by a norwalk flu flying around London. Be back up tomorrow, then probably no update this weekend as I'll be out of town.
Oh, Eaton - For sake of ease, and because the pilot checks were basically three "prep rounds" (I use time pretty fast and loose in PbP when it isn't combat) and I don't want to penalize you for having an original idea - I don't see why you can't finish the flag by your turn in intiative.
The antipaladin and Eredin are currently fifteen ft. off of the three party members on the Star. Eaton's on the rail, Emilia and Phaedra are still on the Sterncastle. (Actually Emilia's run to her cabin, :P.... we'll get to that.)
Two things: Normally I would stand by my call, because it was a mistake I made, but because this is supposed to be a rather harrowing fight, I'm going to retcon the results of my last post. Sorry Tellar. [/ooc]
Phaedra - Finding the rope and tying it would be a full action, so the swim check will count as round 3.
If he'd missed you he would have gone -right- over the edge, and that would have been -awesome- heroage, Tellar... but we -just- happened to feature that particular issue three different times in my homegame this weekend. ;p
I stopped a thug from grappling my summoner.
Our goblin rogue got stopped trying to trip a skeleton.
Our mermaid stopped a bull-rush from an angry villager.
In our home game, yes, it is ruled that you can hold a charge indefinitely so long as you don't use that hand for anything else during the time you're holding the charge, which includes grabbing falling comrades and climbing ladders (grapple and climbing rolls suffer a -4 penalty IIRC?) while the charge is held. I was just about to do the same thing with a Chill Touch with Eaton.
Rennick:
I'm guessing the bard and her brother from the Sandpoint adventure? The bard who just -happens- to turn out to be a hell of a lot more noble than we ever could have imagined?
Everyone but Eaton goes before me so I'm gonna wait and see what happens before posting my action. If Sin is able to drop the Blackguard, that will be a big determinate to what I do. Me and my 1 hp lol.
Yeah, we're playing a freaks and Geeks Campaign and just got to Level 4.
Mermaid Barbarian (Brutal Pugilist) 1/ Monk (Martial Artist) 3, uses the Fleet feat. Just reached Land Speed 30. Swim speed 75.
We also have a goblin whip-master, all about the dirty tricks and improved trip.
And my Mirror Blade, playtesting the variant summoner class for my new supplement. Trades Spell-Casting for Ranger combat styles and teamwork feats, and gets a few evolution points of their own (few = 1/odd level).
Just to make sure we avoid a duel, Edgar my line was a flowery way of talking about healing you, not advice to go slap the other guy. ;-) I was attempting that subtle movie-style dialogue but it didn't translate well in the PBP format.
What I'm saying is, Don't challenge the man to a duel lol!
Edgar Arrowni(hp 21 | AC 17 | T 13 | FF 14 | CMD 17 | F +2 | R +6 | W +1 | Init +5 | Per +6 | Hero 1)
Hahaha, no I think that his misunderstanding fits well with where his mind is. Don't worry though, Edgar is not going to challenge anyone to a duel!
Hey folks, just realized it has been almost a week since my last update and wanted to apologize. I was trying to get my notes for Magnimar consolidated, and some work on Absalom (Which I may also be using for a home game) and then that collided the the aforementioned computer issues and some personal and school problems, (It has been an awesome week let me tell you.)
Anyways, I expect this next post to take a bit and it keeps getting put off, so sorry! I should have it up by late morning today (GMT as always)
Phaedra has hit her 7 day mark and has been sent her 2nd warning via the Paizo PM system. It is this way that I will be sending warnings now.
I want to be clear on this: I get that real life gets in the way, stuff comes up, priorities shift and sometimes you just don't feel up to playing. But I don't think I'm being unfair in wanting to be kept informed if you are going to be absent, even of it's a may like "sorry but I need some time, won't be posting for a bit."
If I don't hear from he by tomorrow I will be posting up an ad for a replacement player.
It's okay, I always hate writing the "guys stay in touch" notes because it sounds very Pontificating DM to me. I would much rather keep you (or any of you) as a player than try to fill your spot of play without you.
That said I stand by it. I understand more than anyone of things popping up, but in a world of emails and Iphones there's few reasons why a two second msg can't happen. There are always exceptions of course, but this is my general opinion. I hold the same philosophy with my real life games as well. Real life happens and it tends to happen alot, just try to be as courteous to your fellow players and DM's as possible. ^_^
On that note: I have priority for our next play coming up next week, and am fighting with my province over student loans while I study in a different country, so if I do go off the face of the earth that's why - though I'm hoping it won't happen.
Just thought I'd say kudos to Eaton. I've really enjoyed your varied and inventive use of Prestidigitation throughout this game. It's given me dozens of ideas of uses for it in my other games. So hat off to you. :-)
And there are so many more! We actually had a 1001 Prestidigitations thread a while back, and I went all veteran on peoples behinds and pulled out the old Dragon Magazine from the wayback machine. -So- -Many- -Uses-. It'll be sad when half an hour after our invitation to the mayor's house the flowers discorporate in a sprinkling of fairy dust but hey, it's a zero level spell!

And more and more and more...
I've just finished my run on the latest play and closed off my second term (Ahh vacation you feel so sweet) so we will be revving back up into our normal speed and I plan to have an update for both groups by today.
That's -so wierd-. I check the game compulsively whenever I turn a browser on or off or whenever I stop playing something, or when I wake up or go to sleep, so like five times a day...
I made my last post, and then checked until I saw the post about what was going on at Emilia's house... and then lo and behold, somehow I -missed- the one about what was happening with the Lord Mayor until -just now-!?
my logbook for my last production is taking a bit longer than I planned (Damn you Mass Effect 3 procrastination!) but I will have our next update up soon, I promise! It's mostly written already.
There is reasoning for every secret the mayor has, :D though actually a lot of it, you guys wrote in yourselves in some way. The most prominent is Sinders having attempted to steal from the Lord-Mayor himself.
Honestly, the question may be how he put it all together so quickly. You've been back in Magnimar for about two hours by this point.
