@ JP - I did state that the ooze moved on top of Lazare. Read back if you want to check it out. In all honesty, this is what kills pbp games for me.

Without leaving the main area of the room, Lucius finds nothing helpful.

There is a corridor leading away north into darkness, with doors on the left hand side, and windows on the right hand side. Near the limit of your vision you see an alcove on the right as well.

Leprosy in pathfinder has an onset of 2d4 weeks, so you have a lot of time (in game terms) before this will have any impact. Plenty of opportunity to cure the disease.

And you have plenty of healing methods available to you know for the damage - something like 15 cure lights and 5 cure moderates.

Excuse me for meddling but JP posted last Friday. It did sound like he was unhappy with your ruling but that happens at times. As a GM, you can't make everyone happy. Your main job is to keep the game going. Did you and JP exchange PMs or something and you know he isn't playing anymore? If not, I would give him a couple of more days. Some people have limited availability on weekends.


I did ping him, let us wait for Thursday. If no show...we can eat his brains for wisdom! ;)

I'm still here, just not at computer and out of town. I'm not pleased with the fact that we aren't using character knowledge of things like position. You said you moved onto Lazare, but where am I in relation to that? I can't tell without looking at the map and it was never said. I'm just asking for the move action I had left, as my character just saw a 10' splash.

This is an RPG not chess, and your "that's what I hate about pbp" comment is vague . I'm only going to post about 1/3 of prior and weekends are going to be bad. I was getting an invitation not to play vibe from Keith. If that's the case then I can see myself out.

out of town with mediocre connectivity. So posting will be slow until I get back in town Thursday. Updating the map is right out.

You reach the first of the four doors on the left when you hear some noises ahead if you. The sound of rocks or rubble being moved, along with a growly - panting noise.

If you wish to move up and look, make a stealth roll. You don't need a roll if you freeze where you are (outside the first door)

Keith- take a look at our old friends current campaign -Scott's campaign. Look at the Catacombs map. He is using some google power point program but it allows players to move their tokens around. For a tactical combat game this works pretty well. I don't know how he has set it up, but something to look into.

Creeping forward, JP moves up an peers into the gloom.

He sees two ghouls digging at rubble, apparently oblivious to all else. Why they did not react to the guns is beyond his ken, but he DOES recall this is / was an insane asylum before a significant percentage of them turned into monsters.

(One more day on the beach and then I am heading home. I will update the map then, as well as give a few more complete posts when I have a keyboard )

The map is updated. The two ghouls are digging at the wall of rubble in the area circled green. Ignore the red line at the top of the map, we will get to that shortly.

Jean Phillipe's musket shot goes wide, splintering against a wall, but the Professor's strikes true!

The ghoul that was shot spins around just it time to take a crushing blow from Trevor, knocking it down and caving in its chest! (one ghoul down).

The Professor notes that the ghouls, as undead, remain dead after the ferocious blows from the half orc, but they are no longer animate.

Therefore, they are safely destroyed. Or so he thinks. While he speaks confidently, he does tug at a mustache a bit, with a slight frown.

A sudden flash of memory enters the Professors thoughts. He has examined dead bodies before. Looking for signs of violence. He shudders. He is not sure why he would have done that but his gut feeling is that it wasn't entirely on the up and up...

No other ghouls can be heard. You do hear someone moaning (softly) in fear in the larger common ward to the north.

(You may note the map is updated - showing a row of small rooms and one larger common ward - you have not yet entered the large common ward north of where you are.)

In the rooms to the south, consider yourself to have found 250 gold worth of stuff, along with a backpack of ammunition and powder - 50 rds each for the muskets and the pistols.

are you guys subtracting the CLW injections off of your character sheet? Do we / I need to subtract 3 from the common sheet linked at the top of the page? 2 for JP, 1 for Trevor. Did Lazare use any?
