trip: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

It tries to trip Hirah as she approaches, but fails. Hirah then cleaves the large Andrazku demon into two with one mighty swing of her greatsword.

The AOO is because it has 10 ft reach. Moving from 10 ft to 5 ft provokes, and technically it provokes an AOO for not having improved trip, but you don't have the reach to take it. I figured if you look like an ape, you get ape reach when enlarged, so I gave them 10 ft reach while large.

Alright, a lot I don't understand, like when it had time to cast righteous might, or exactly where Hirah is, but here we go.

This is not good...these creatures have scent so I need to move far away even if I do manage to go invisible.

Mr. Whiskers attempts to cast vanish defensively so he can sneak away.

Unfortunately just as he started, one of the creatures moved in the way.

So instead he just runs towards Einar and Hirah! Provoking and hoping they do not have combat reflexes on these...

They were down somewhere around and were alerted by the giant. Mr Whiskers -if you have melee weapons, feel free to AOO.

One of them bats Mr Whiskers with its paw, sending him tumbling to the ground. The other takes advantage of the situation to pound on Mr Whiskers.

The rest of the Andrazkus cheer at their comarades effort. One of them teleports next to Einar, while the other moves up. The Frost Giant, seeing Mr Whiskers is down, returns to the battlefield.

Unsure if I can move up a square and flank with Einar, I'll try and do so if possible, but if not I'll still full attack that one, and then use my 5 foot action to take its spot next to Einar. Einar attacked the bottom one once, you hit the bottom one once with hateful retort(since it attacked you), which was not enough to kill it. For your benefit, I will redirect your attacks against the bottom one to clear it, though you indicated that you wanted the one next to Einar. Otherwise the result, if you don't focus attacks is both are still alive and can take full round attacks on you, which you would not like. I can't move you into flank position with Einar, since 8 ft wide passages would mean no space.

Hirah cuts the demon that struck her down.

Yep, currently 25/84 HP. When rage finishes I drop to -7

Anyway I need to withdraw but cannot access my options until I know how successful Einar's attack was. If Einar hasn't killed anything, then I'm going to have to do it myself and then eat an AoO moving back. Also I don't know if it matters GM but that fort save roll is about 4 points higher.

Einar attacked the smaller one beside him, I don't think he killed it. If you attack it, hopefully killing it, you could 5 ft step there, or move through there taking the AoO. Hopefully Einar will be able to occupy the frost giant.

The problem is that a 5 foot doesn't work, it then follows and attacks. I don't think I survive the AoO anyway tbh. Hmm I wonder if I lose HP when Amplified Rage is no longer up, probably.

Strange Aeons Grp 2 |

You passed, with +4 or not, so no matter. I will take note of your raging con.

Einar bites and claws at the creature but his bite and claw does not seem to be fully effective and the creature is still up.

And you lose hp when your amplified rage runs out/drops. Your threshold for normal rage is 68 hp, so for now, if you get seperated from Einar, you don't drop dead immediately. But once over that threshold, if you are seperated from a raging Einar, you die.

Sorry paizo site was down.
would it be beneficial if einar enlarged so the giant can't hit Hirah again? If we retcon her stepping back 5 ft. she will still be adjacent to Einar, he can enlarge and attack the giant, veritably blocking an attack on her while keeping the giant distracted, then Crummock can put Band-Aids on everyone. I realize his attacks will be at -4, but it should keep Hiarah from getting hit again.

Strange Aeons Grp 2 |

I told you about the threshold - you need to heal about 20 points of damage before Hirah's remaining 4 rounds of rage end. Do what you think needs to be done. Not to mention if Hirah doesn't get a heal before her current turn starts, she's dead. Infernal healing will help but will take place only at start of 2nd round, due to the 1 round casting time

He then moves on to himself:

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4.

That should leave Mr Whiskers fully healed, and Hirah and Crummock each down 1hp.

"This is why I don't be likin' fightin' in cramped corridors!"

I think we can move onto the looting phase (both of the bodies, and the room that the demons came out of) :-)

Fair enough

The demons have nothing on them, and the giant has a large chain shirt and a large battle axe. The party goes down the pasaageway to find a room.

Stone stairs lead into a narrow, rectangular chamber filled with the overwhelming stink of urine. The walls and floor are haphazardly covered with countless lines of jagged runes. Two short flights of stairs climb to small platforms at either end of the chamber.

Einar finds a chest which is poisoned. He disarms the trap, and opens it. Mr Whiskers identifies the contents as a potion of nondetection, a potion of gaseous form, a rope of climbing, a wand of air walk (7 charges), a hammer and a score of iron spikes, two blocks and tackle, and four 50-foot ropes, and a giant sized portable ram.

On the table there is an incomplete map of Artosa, revealing areas marked Coven territory - two unexplored rooms down the corridor. The rest of the map only shows areas C1, C2 and C3 which the party has explored.

see, slide 11

"'Coven territory'... I wonder if that be where we will be findin' those that the child-murderin' hag told us about?"

Crummock then has Geist haul the corpses upstairs, where he unceremoniously dumps them over the cliff edge (unless, of course, the tree guardian wants some fertiliser).

His face a mask of determination, Crummock then packs up the loot and continues down the corridor.

"Hey, you should have brought them to me alive! That way I could feast on their suffering and pain!" The witch tree complains. "Well, at least it's fertilizer."

Hirah, you're on your 2nd heightened awareness today

My calcs, 2 since to stay alive for current round so you can heal 12, then another so the other 12 kicks in, then she can drop rage safely

I thought I acted before her? Never mind. Either way, she is still alive :-)

Crummock shrugs.

"Aye, well, they caused us a wee mite o' trouble, so we weren't really in a position to just knock them out..."

He then heads back downstairs, to explore where the 'Coven' are.

Retired to Triaxius

so how many extra rages did Einar need to use?

Einar worried about his friend continues to rage until Crummock heals her. He then takes anything of value the giant has and begins helping to search the room the demons were in. Having tickled the lock and trap on the chest, smiling. "well, look at this!"

After helping take the bodies to the tree, Einar returns with Crummock and begins to head down the hallway to explore.

so are we returning to C5 opening doors and going down halls or are we going to T1?
