Green Knight loses mount and charge bonus so Modredus doesn't need to have a clear line.

Put Garrasay at back if his AC is higher.
I could also go at back, but looks like I'm moving half the speed as the rest of you, so the less far I have to move the better :)

I’m ok with the marching order however make sure you stop if you see any animals I have animal empathy

Since we have a marching order I going to go with the assumption we know each other , since I live in the woods and only occasionally go into town do y’all want to say we heard of a rampaging monster like a owlbear? And we are currently hunting it when the weird stuff happens? Almost all of us have some wood theme so we met through ranger/Druid gatherings because they are more tolerant of odd races?


@Modredus - I will not be able to halt the party every time a critter is in the area, because that will kinda be a constant through traveling. Instead, you will need to let me know when you're actively seeking creatures. If an encounter is animal related then yes you will have opportunity with it.

The marching order is for me to place your tokens on the map. You don't have to know each other, this is just how I operate my tables.

I will be rolling your Perceptions (including trap finding) and stealth (if applicable) before combat. I will also roll your Initiatives, Saves when on my turn (you’ll roll any that happen on your own turn), Knowledges, and Spellcraft for battle situations. Of course you can roll these whenever you want. During conversations with NPCs I will roll your sense motives but only when needed. Of course you can roll Sense Motive whenever you want as well. When interacting with a new area with a population, provided there is not a language barrier, I will roll gather information so you can have more info to work with. I will also appraise things for you when presenting items with a value.

Please keep your character sheets up to date.

I will be having us play on google draw. Each map will have a series of numbers on them representing points of interest or roads/crossroads. When you are introduced to an area I will put up spoilers for ones you can easily interact with. Chose a number on the map you’d like to inspect and view the spoiler, then interact with a post. If you want more information about a location, you’ll have to go to it and interact with search, smell, or whatever it is you do.

I will always assume you’re in the marching order when arriving to maps and moving as group. In combat if you want to move your character just say how and where to with whatever description is easiest for you to express and I’ll move the token there when I notice you took your turn. Please remember, if you’re in snow your movement is reduced by half (unless you have tools/magic to improve this).

Last but not least. Not all NPC rolls for skills and other things will be rolled in the open. If the NPC is invisible or you can’t see them due to other reasons, their roll also will not be in the open. I the GM reserve the right to hide certain rolls from the players.

@GM Deadly Secret I was wondering what your view point of Cold Resistance is when it comes to the cold weather we will be facing.

So I have Cold Resistance 2 from the Campaign Trait. There is a lot of gray area around that trait and dealing with cold weather, so I was just curious with how you’d be doing things with it.

Northern Ancestry:
One of your parents came from the North, and the tales of the frozen lands at the top of the world that you grew up listening to excited your imagination. Alternatively, maybe one of your ancestors passed on the blood of some frost-rimed creature. You feel most alive during the chill of winter, and as a child, you spent hours playing in the snow. You rarely feel the cold, and you’ve always had a restless longing to travel north. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Fortitude saves, as well as cold resistance 2; this resistance does not stack with cold resistance gained from any other source.


Not sure what the gray area could possibly be. You get a 2 cold resistance. Cold weather dmg is typically 1d6, so you have a potential of taking no more than 4 non-lethal dmg if it were to roll max. If someone were to put cold resistance on you, it won't stack and you'll just take the higher of the two.

So who wants the cold iron longsword? I'll take it if no-one else wants it, but a full BAB person should probably have it.
Mordred, are you still offering a cold iron throwing axe? If we're fighting the fair folk, the more people with cold iron weapons the better.

Yes I’m offering one of my throwing axes to anyone who wants it, I can use the long sword but I prefer the greataxe with power attack and no shield so I think stein should have it.

If it is a cold iron longsword I would greatly need it if we come across fey. I didn’t think about putting 2 and 2 together when I got my gear after reading the Players Guide...

You can take it. I think with a 5' move you will need all the ranged attacks you can get, though the -4 snowy penalty to range on top of the movement penalty is a double whammy =/.

Based on the rules, you wouldn't be able to do that anyways. However, there is a feat called step up.

If you were to delay your turn, you would have to wait til the creature takes all actions before your actions.

I like to ask players when they have companions on how they would like to handle initiatives. For this combat your companion will go on your initiative, but in the future would you like me to have it roll it's own?


Familiars can roll too, so whenever I ask for certain rolls your familiar and animal companions can roll too. Don't forget to include them. Also, try to include where your familiar is and if you have a picture for them let me know so I can make token.

Also, I forgot to roll for familiars you are carrying vs aoe. Whoops. So am I correct that only Garrasay and Yuki have familiars/companions. If you don't have your familiars name on your character sheet can you add it so that I can get them more involved in the adventure.

You may not have noticed by now, but I am a bit of a perfectionist and tend to over achieve. I do this to make things easier, quicker and overall smoother for myself and everyone I GM for. I think that if everyone puts this code in Classes/Levels field on your alias page, it will greatly help me. I would like you to have these numbers as your active numbers. So if I drain your will, I want to see that will save number be modified here. If you guys can do that for me I would very much appreciate it.

Hm, lets see. On the matter of resting, it looks like the casters all need 8 hrs of uninterrupted sleep which pretty much exempts them from watches?

Lets see, if we did a 10 hr camp we camp we could do four shifts 2/3/3/2 with the casters taking one of the end 2hr watches and anyone who does not need the rest one of the middle 3 hr watches.

Alternatively we can do 12 hr camp with 4/4/4 watches and the casters take one of the start/end watches.

Fairy fight started 6ish, so it's around 6:30 now. Because it's really summer, sunrise is early - probably around 6am or so? So we've got plenty of time for tonight - 3 4hr watches is possible, and we can double up for less chance of surprise.

Could also do:
4 watches of 2h 40mins for 10h 40min total downtime.
5 watches of 2h for 10h total downtime

As I'm divine, turns out I don't need the rest for spells (nice to know!), but I think I was the most hurt from the fight, so I kind of want that extra 1hp tonight. :)
Healing will probably be less of an issue from level 2, I'll have some fervor to spend on it.
