[ooc]

@Korvac it does a 10ft radius and I'm not sure the caster has a line fo sight as I believe the opening is towards Lillie. Certainly the caster could set the effect inside the tent but if you're closing you're likely gonna have to save too.

Also we're responsible to move our own minis on the map and you should be able to. I'd suggest putting the grease in front of Valasca remember she has 15ft reach so she can still stab anyone caught in the effect and it would cause a bottle neck.

Alternately grease the inside of the tent and move Korvac up the melee line next to oor infront of Valasca (remember you can pass through allied squares np.) We'll move the trogs in for support and wreck some faces.

But up to you.

@Lillie I believe you get another turn before GM has the camp act, don't forget your trog.

Valasca, I can't tell who you're attacking. If it's the 'lying down' hobgoblin without a border, Lillie already got him. You may redo your action if you want.

Oh gotcha I was confused then my bad

free action Trogs stay close to me, I'm going to use soem magic if they close we will make them have regrets

Move action move 30ft
Swift action enlarge.
Standard action cast Bless +1 morale bonus to attack rolls and saves vs fear for all allies within 50ft, I believe that excludes Aravac.

Trogs move up and maybe just ready vs approach since they can't really charge anyone and don't have line of sight to throw their javlins.

That's fine. If I'm making attack rolls, something's gone horribly wrong.

Unless you attack with rays...

True, but the only ray-like spell I have currently is acid splash. Every other offensive spell I have involves saving throws.

@Korvak do you want to be moved up to the tent still? If so do you still want the grease to go off there because it's likely to get you with the bugbear (though I imagine you have a better reflex save.)

Lillie, you're up again. I'm not going to count trogs, so you guys probably want to make sure they have all acted.

Female Lizardwoman NG Medium Female Lizardfolk 7th level cleric of Gozreh/1st level Skald

free action You two use your claws to slash the tent lines to make it drop. You and I will stab whatever looks like it's moving.

Basically I'm looking to have the 3 trogs gathered round drop the tent effectively blinding and possibly entangling whoever is inside then I stab them. Poor dud is already flat footed to boot. The ropes should have 5hp (assuming hemp) and I believe no ac so the trogs should be able to drop 1 each even if they all roll 1's for damage. They can then pull away the unsecured tent poles and make that a mess for the dude inside. He should then be outlined well for stabbing

Lillie's barrage of arrows destroys another hobgoblin.

Valasca, with the help of some trogs, injures whoever is in the tent.

I mislabelled the hobgoblins, so I have to change who is blinded. Sorry.

The goblin in the wolf pen looks at you curiously.

Pleased that he'd managed to inconvenience the one hobgoblin, Arcavic decides to take precautions based on who emerged from the large tent nearest Korvak - hopefully the bugbear wouldn't be overwhelmed, and that would buy him time.

Arcavic then surveyed the battlefield, trying to assess how it was going for the group.

aqua will save, blinded: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

The goblin just continues to watch, his hand on a gate to the wolf pen.

Arcavic, you're up.

Am I considered to have line of sight to the wolf pen?

Venture Lieutenant, Play by Post (online)

Nope, the mini forest is in the way from where your token is. Also, if the goblin in there wanted to attack, he would have by now.

Okay. I was thinking of readying an action to glitterdust the wolves if the goblin let them loose, but since I don't have line of sight...

Arcavic sets up a slippery little spot just outside the tent near Korvak, coating the area with a grease spell.

Casting Grease on the area outside the entrance of the tent Korvak is near. DC 10 Acrobatics check to move through each square of it - if they fail by 5 or more, they fall prone.

Korvak, there's grease in front of the tent - you need 2 DC 10 Acrobatics checks to move through, and each space costs extra movement.

Lillie, Valasca, and the trog trio take down Scarvinious. As his dying yell echoes through the camp, you hear voices from the tent calling out "We surrender!" The goblin and the wolves make no move to attack, but just keep watching.

Korvak, you still have your turn if you want. It's up to you guys if we are still in initiative here.

So do you still want to move in and attack, Korvak? Because your action was unclear because of the grease, it happens after Lillie's action and after their offer to surrender.

Strip them of weapons and useful goods, I'd suggest the trogs take them as they may well be better suited to holding them. Though if anyone just wants to kill them Valscala would look away given what the hobs are responsible for. She will not participate in any such killings however.

To the trogs
You two back up Korvak to secure the prisoners, you with me, we are going to talk to this goblin and his compatriots.

The goblin looks at Valasca. "Please not hurt wolf friends. If hurt me, OK, but not hurt friends!"

One of the wolves stops to gently nuzzle the goblin on his way to where Valasca is. The other moves straight over to her. "Yes, hungry. Goblin packmate wanted to give us more food, but nasty one hurts him for giving us too much."

Female Lizardwoman NG Medium Female Lizardfolk 7th level cleric of Gozreh/1st level Skald

Valscala grabs some meat from her pack and gives some to the wolves.

To the Goblin:
"Your packmates are safe from being harmed by my pack as long as they are peaceful to us and the humans we are protecting. If you'd like you might find a place among us, I can speak with animals and treat well with nature.

Your wolf told me of the nasty one and what he did to you and yours, we are better."

The badass part of this is I was plaaning on taking a wolf AC anyway, I forgot to add one last level then decided to wait for 5th when I could grab boon companion.

Venture Lieutenant, Play by Post (online)

The goblin points to a metal collar around his neck. "Me belong to you now? You say you better to slaves than Scarvinious was?"

Arcavic dismisses any lingering effects then descends from the watch tower and moves over to where Korvak and the trogs have the prisoners. Studying them, the Drow says, ”What was your mission here?”

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

So long as you do not harm us or ours we can part bloodlessly if that is your desire. These gesturing at the dead, are our enemies. There are many of them but we will kill many of them and chase away those that live.

To the Goblin who I assume looks feral or wild if he's kept in an animal pen
"We are not slaves an we are not slavers, we are pack. We will free you, you too can become pack if you like, you and the wolves. We are enemies to those that chained you, they are dead save for those that bared their throats. You are free to join us as pack or free to go and find another territory.

Venture Lieutenant, Play by Post (online)

Valasca, I think at this point I'll tell you more about the goblin, since you would be able to observe all kinds of things if you were really in this situation. The goblin was the keeper for a pack of wolves, and was a slave. He was told by his master to sleep and live in the goblin cage, but able to leave when needed for his duties (he knew how to use the latch). He is quite simple and uneducated. One of the wolves is his animal companion, who he loves dearly. The wolves are being honest with you that he was as kind to them as the hobgoblins would allow, and sometimes even broke the rules to care for them.

Valasca notices that her healing energy does not seem to have any impact on the wolves, but it does seem to make their goblin keeper feel much better. He seems to be willing to accept whatever treatment he gets from you; it has to be better than what he got from Scarvinious. He is a little wary in case you end up mistreating him or his pack.
