Alright, as you two are going together and the big dragon wants/needs pbp, This is your thread.
I'm prepping two different scenarios based on your answer to the question posed by the hot red tomato, Thak. It would help to eliminate some work if you would answer it, please and thanks.
edit: oh yeah, 1d60 ⇒ 31 minutes of prep time/warning.

Guys, the experiment isn't exactly a success. The one hour thing seems to not be enough time for these kinds of characters.
So, I have a proposal: I will run pbp arena challenges, similar to the ones we've got going for pairs of PCs (or solo PCs if necessary.) These may be either PvP or PvE with the same expectations as the original campaign premise.
I can't promise nor do I expect daily posts. I will likely still put aside and announce three hours a week when I will be very active in whatever threads I have up. I will likely bounce through every thread and keep myself very busy during these times.
I still want you guys to be able to play these characters.
Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?

I'd rather just go back to doing things throughForgotten RealmsFantasy Grounds; or, just do it via a more traditional instant messenger (discord, skype) and use google drawings for maps.
I may leave both options open as well; I know there was some initial concern about not having PbP available. I'll gather more opinions before making any final decisions.
What do you think about an expanded time slot using Fantasy Grounds (like 2 hours). I think most of what I have will likely take more than an hour given the complexity of characters. Unfortunately, 2 hour slots will be even harder to carve out of my schedule. Brainstorming here, I guess.

I'm actually moving back to college tomorrow, and should have a much more stable schedule, as well as the wifi connection to attempt to get Fantasy Grounds to work.
However, if at all possible, I would prefer to stick to PbP. If we need to go a day without a post every now and then, fine.
I'll most likely wait until the rest of the players here chime in before actually deciding anything.

I think PbP with the option of speeding things up for a time by using a chat program or something would be best. So, say, during certain times you're on Fantasy Grounds or whatever, and then the rest of the time it's PbP?

Alright, I'm setting up to get this going. If maybe I could have you guys pair off and decide whether you want to run these challenges co-op or PvP and choose a Map from below. Once I've got that sorted out, I'll get threads started up and we can give it a go.
The Maps:
:MAP A:
:MAP B:
:MAP C:
:MAP D:
:MAP E:
:MAP F:
:MAP G:
:MAP H:

Kit will be glad to cooperate with anyone who is not evil-aligned. :D No particular map preference, though he prefers to not be on fire.

Does....does no one want to play with the cute and cuddly snake over here? [insert completely legit pouty face here]
Seriously though, can anyone survive the lava map with Ovkkrah, or would he be stuck alone there? The desert map is probably more flavorful, what with his connections to Osirian, but I'm not gonna try to push my way in.

Eh, it's mostly a matter of Kit having philosophical issues with helping an evil dragon get more power. Having actually played that level in the Emerald Spire, there are plenty of places to stand where you won't be on fire (unless the GM changes that :D).
