Razor Coast, a devil’s paradise, where a man’s fortune can bleed out quicker than a spitted pig, and where the dawn sky blazes across endless oceans. Oceans that for centuries hid a lost people of whom legend whisper were born into these wild reaches as the sons of sharks. Here, within in the kraken’s clutches, law means little while gold breaks all boundaries and blood, pearls, and rum pay for all sin.

I agree with you on that one. Its one thing to have a 20 and a 1. Another altogether to have those two glorious 20s in a row and still not confirm because the AC is so damn high. I have one GM that has you roll a 3rd die if you get 2 20s so something even more special can happen if you get a third :) Haven't seen it happen yet.

Male

The halfling surveys his fallen companions, blood pooling on the floor at his feet. He draws his punching dagger and stabs desperately at the mythic vampire...
Attack: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (20) - 2 = 18
Confirm: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (20) - 2 = 18
Double Confirm: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (20) - 2 = 18
Triple Confirm: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (20) - 2 = 18
With one fateful stab, the vampire's head drops from its shoulders and the dagger remains firmly planted in the creature's black heart.

mythic vampire? Are you sure you have the right game Lyst?

Male

Hm? Oh, sorry, I was just daydreaming about stacking ulti-crits like Leialoha mentioned.

Hefting the oversized chunk of metal Natalie goes over to the last corpse to deal with. Once there she swings the sword at it with deadly intent.

Lyst is daydreaming about killing vampires and I think Natalie is day dreaming about 'The Mighty Casey'.AC is 13, sorry.

I think Natalie forgot the +2 from Lysts inspire courage. PS I have rolled 3 20s once, decapitated a t-rex in one shot lol.

I didn't know how long crushing despair lasts and assumed it's still giving -2 to nearly everything...if not then I guess I hit with 2 more points of damage.

edit: just looked it up 1 min/lvl and the previous combat didn't last that long.

That will take a vorpal sword in my campaign, extremely rare and not at this level:) Now if you want to face a Balrog....

Male

I once did two weapon fighting without the feat to throw some wooden stakes at 2nd range increment. Astoundingly I rolled two 20s, and a third to confirm one of them.

Hardly seems worth it, but I might as well.
Lyst wraps up his sermon as he moves in to aid Silas. "...good blessings to those who honor his work." No more inspire courage.
He then focuses on dodging and bolstering the defense of his allies.
Total Defense. All adjacent allies gain a +4 luck bonus to AC for this round.

I'm going to delay until after Oro-Tu. With just one left, I don't think there is a lot for me to do at the moment.

don't have access to map thing on my phone, so I don't recall if I can 5ft step or need to move to hit so I will roll one attack

Oro-Tu moves to the next creature and swings.

XP=2160 each. I think I hear at least one ding. One of the bodies has a masterwork cutlass.

Seeing the last worm get killed Natalie starts looking among the corpses and finds a weapon more to her liking. huming excited like she takes her old sheath out of her pack and puts it on her left side. As she's sheathing the cutlass Natalie looks up self consciously. "Anyone have a problem with me claiming this slight bit of booty?

Silas looks over. "I'm fine with it." He looks about. "Does this mean we've finally exhausted rooms and secret doors in this place?"

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

There is the lab just to the north but it contains no treasure so basically yes.

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

Silas comes out of the lab, disappointed not to find another random secret hiding place. "I think I'm happy to say we have cleared out this place. Even if random elements find their way down here I think they should be safe. Might be worth us securing if we need somewhere to hold up."

His mind drifts to secret compartments and possibilities for less than lawful activities.

Leialoha nods at Natalie's question, "Of course. The more steel between me and these creatures, the better."

Once Silas has finished exploring the lab, the Tulita can't help remarking, "Can't be any worse than that hell hole up above. I'm sure the corpses will grow on me. For now back up top? I think Pele saw fit to inspire me with some new means of devastation in that last firestorm."

Silas smiles "I wasn't suggesting we move in permanently. We just don't know whether we will need to hide at some point. But yes back to the sunlight."

Male

"Indeed! Fine work here, but there's still much to be done I'll wager. And a few of you seem strong enough to do it." Lyst says ambiguously.

"Quite right. Does anyone else have injuries that I might cleanse from you by the power of Thyr?" Lyst asks as he straightens his jacket and begins to wiggle his fingers.

I presume you are all going back to the chapter house then?

That would be my plan. Also planning on trying to get some idea of what's been going on as we haven't talked to new people in a bit.

Sounds good to me too. Chapter house or rumor gathering give us a good chance to work in next new member too. Probably need to revisit our leads since it seems we've played out the sewers. I remember the gnoll but need to re-read to recall some of the others.

"Well matey, I have business to deal wit elsewhere. I'll meet up with you blokes there later." As soon as she can Natalie heads to Sagacious Samuel’s Magic Emporium to see about getting a better weapon.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

Does anyone else wish to go to Samuel's? Before or instead of the Skull?

I have no need to go right now, but if we want to stick together I will.

Male

"There's so much work to be done! But I can't well do it alone, so I'll wait for you there." Either/or is fine by me.

Do Samuel's first and then the Skull

Natalie takes the greatsword upto him and lays it out. This sword is not to my liking. I would like to sell it and get one like this made of the same metal and lightly magicked. She shows him her cutlass.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

He takes a look at the sword, casts identify on it and replies,This is a fine blade. I am sure I can find a buyer. You want a light cutlass lightly magicked? Done, give me a week. (+1 Cutlass 19-20 threat range, light blades, adamantine.)You want a basket hilt for that? I will throw one in.

Point is the cutlass for Razor Coast and works for your class abilities.

It is called, the cutlass from Skulls & Shackles is not open source and FGG modified it slightly for legal. You lose 1 point of crit range to get a light weapon for weapon finesse and your abilities.

Okay. Yeah I went searching through Razors Coast from the back to 273(about 200 pages). Couldn't do the other don't have ToH complete. Is the basket hilt just going to be ornamental? Or is there a purpose to it?

Samuel if I wanted to have a magic weapon's enchantment improved where would I go?

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

Cutlass- This broad curved sword is somewhat reminiscent of a short scimitar, but with a protective hand guard or basket hilt. You can buy one without it, but then you would have nothing to protect your hand and would be easier to disarm.
Libynos would be a good bet, or you could try Bard's Gate. I can handle minor enchantments, but I specialize in wands, scrolls and potions. I can order it out, but that'll take a couple of weeks.

Silas approaches smiling at Samuel, seeing if he can get a glimpse of the papers hurriedly shuffled away. "We also have come into possession of a book you might be interested in." He produces the spell book and places it on the counter.

Samuel takes a look at the book and examines it carefully checking it over for anything suspicious. "This is a rare find, very old. This is the spell book of the Necromancer Tarath-Vreen who disappeared over a 1000 years ago. It is quite valuable for its historical value alone. I can only offer trade of services for something this valuable, say 16,000 GP worth?"

Silas, you saw a map. What is an obvious forgery in progress of the location of Garr Bloodbane’s horde. It is quite realistic, however.
