One question I had--did you have any thoughts on how long this game will run? I was kind of assuming it would be a long-running, epic campaign, going all the way up to high levels, where Brennus will be practically dripping with arcane power, truly Golarion's Most Powerful Raven, but I wasn't sure if that's what you were thinking or not. :D

Some musings on Brennus because I'm having trouble focusing on work:

*Some fun OOC backstory on Brennus: he started to become what he is now when Failin took the Improved Familiar feat. Instead of getting a new familiar, the GM agreed I could give Brennus the stats of a legal creature--in Brennus's case, a Faerie Dragon. Now, when I hacked this together in Hero Lab, I must have messed something up, because he came out with a *much* higher Intelligence than he should have had.

And everyone thought it was funny that the bird was now the smartest member of the party and so we agreed to let it stick. :D And now look how far he's come...

*On that note, I actually slightly reduced Brennus's starting Int, because I kind of want him to grow into it. So I *do* think it would be fun for him to grow smarter over time.

*Speaking of being smart, I think that gathering knowledge/books/lore should definitely be part of the game. (Perhaps he'll literally get smarter from reading so much? :D) While some of his successes should be possible 'in the field', I'm imagining he's going to spend a lot of time studying and experimenting to expand his powers, discover new places of power to raid, etc.

*While I look forward to Brennus developing/stealing a wide variety of weird powers, I think it would be most fun if he remains, for the most part, outwardly unchanged. Though an extra eye or two might be fun. :D

*Given the knowledge-hoarding focus Brennus has, it might be appropriate for him to get more than the normal number of spells known as he starts sampling different sources of power. In fact, it might be interesting if he started getting spells from other classes' lists as he diversifies his tastes. :D

These are just random musings, so take them with a grain of salt.

Okay, so, summary of the Emerald Spire adventure:

*Brennus encouraged his master, Failin, to go to the Emerald Spire, basically because it was the most powerfully magical place Brennus knew of.

*They met with some other adventurers in Thornkeep and headed into the Spire dungeons.

*They didn't have much trouble clearing the first three floors of the dungeon.

*They passed peacefully through the Godhome, though Brennus invisibly scouted around to map out the floor.

*They killed everyone on the Drowned Level.

*They rescued Jharun from the Clockwork Maze and killed Klarkosh. They found the Pech, and Brennus actually bluffed it into believing that *he* was a messenger of the "Great Master" and had him keep mining shards of the Emerald Spire (which were what he used to become an Improved Familiar instead of a normal raven familiar). The Pech is still there, last Brennus knew.

*The naga in the Shrine of the Awakener escaped, but attacked them later and got killed. They killed all the other serpentfolk on the serpentfolk levels.

*They rescued Jherao on the next floor, who helped them kill the devil and then left.

*They cleared the Magma Vault, freeing the Kolyarut (reminding Brennus of this might make him realize there's floors he hasn't visited).

*They broke into the Tomb of Yarrix and destroyed Yarrix.

*They befriended Steward and helped him re-program the Iron Creche. Brennus was actually one of the ones who assisted with the re-programming!

*They wiped out all the devils and such in the Pleasure Gardens, and discovered the useful properties of the water around the Spire. It was after this that Brennus broke his familiar bond and became an independant sorcerer in his own right.

*Finally, they destroyed Nhur Athemon, throwing his head and heart into the chasm. None of the party members accepted Abraxas's offer of a wish.

*After that, the party left the Emerald Spire and parted ways. This is when Brennus left his former master.
