As the team returns to the castle, Elathras follows Virgil into the compound. Elathras begins to head to the main door to return to the dinning room where they spent the night. If he makes it to the dinning room with out conflict He looks around the room trying to remember details, like where he slept and when he took the watch but to no avail. finally he says to the team, wiping drool off his chin "I watch good, wake me when" he then removes his armor and using his pack as a pillow, goes to sleep.

Let us begin as we mean to continue. First we clear this floor, then we check for cellars below. Dolgrin is less reckless than Dolgrin, but smiles just as brightly as he steps towards the door.

Door order A->D->E->F->G and we'll have cleared most of the first floor. I don't remember if we cleared all of the second, but if we haven't we can recheck it, then we deal with any stairs going down.

I believe we cleared all the first and second floor of the main building, but not the out buildings, cleared the east tower, we did destroy the eggs right?

A appears to be the southwest tower, lets go there first
After a good nights rest Elathras put on his armor and ate a quick breakfast. After waiting for everyone else to be ready he heads out of the main building and goes past the blacksmiths door and goes to the southwest tower he looks carefully at the door and after inspecting it he asked "This door?"

aww its broken disappointed that the tower is mostly collapsed Elathras goes around to the east side of the building and inspects the door there for traps,assuming he finds none he then opens the door and looks inside.

Room 4 Opening the door startles a few rats, nibbling on the contents of this room. A small pile of hay and two bags of oats are the room’s only other occupants.

Elathras goes the the north end of the room he is in 3 and inspecting the door quickly opens it up. "look Virgil, door, I will open"

Room 4 for real this time: The stable has been totally gutted, most of the iron rings on the walls have been worked free, and the wood of the stalls has long since been broken down for firewood.

As they walk around the stables Elathras takes his time to look a round a little bit, even petting the ponies and seeing if they need food.

Room 5 A natural spring flows down the cliff and through a duct to make a small natural reservoir of clean water inside this small out-building. The goblins have not been attempting to keep it clean however and the entire building stinks of waste.

Wanting to finish searching the castle, Elathras and team moves out of the stables and into the courtyard where they examine the door in the northeast corner. "Can I open this door too Virgil?" after checking the door Elathras opens it without waiting for Virgils go ahead.

AS they enter the room with the natural spring Elthras goes inside, seeing the spring he attempts to determine why the building would smell he approaches the spring and inspects it. "Why water stink, it is coming in clean?"

As Elathras starts wading around in the water, he begins to dry heave, as he is about to leave due to the overpowering odor, he sees a shiny stone in the water. "Ooohhh, pretty!" forgetting about the odor for a moment he reaches into the spring and picking up the stone he holds it up so Virgil can see it and says "Look Virgil, pretty, now we leave stinky room." Leaving the spring behind Elathras looks at all the doors in the courtyard, after thinking hard for a few minutes he realizes they have opened all the doors available so he follows the team inside. Once back inside curiosity gets the better of Elathras and he, turning to the left goes to that door and opens it up peering inside.

The armory has clearly seen better days. There are enough racks,
stands and cases to hold gear sufficient to equip a battalion, although
they are nearly all empty and what little is left is either in disrepair or
made for goblins. In the racks are 4 Small longspears, 4 Small short
swords, 4 Small wooden shields and 100 arrows. These are the supplies
the goblins use for raids, as the longspears are less suited for indoor use.
There are also 2 Medium heavy wooden shields hung for decoration. A
box of parts is actually a disassembled masterwork heavy crossbow that
the goblins have overlooked

seeing the little weapons Elathras picks up a small short sword and swings it around a little giggling, then seeing the decorative shields he takes one down, and carefully hanging the Gnoll shield back in its place, hangs the decorative wooden shield on his shoulder, finally seeing the box of parts, he holds up the locking mechanism from the handle and waives it at Virgil saying "Look Virgil a crossbow puzzle" leaving the crossbow and other weapons he walks out of the room and opens the door immediately to the left and looks inside, saying "Kaztor, bring light closer"

Elathras goes into the room looking around, when he sess the ladder he climbs up it to see what is upstairs. "Lets go upstairs Virgil, see if there is another bird."

seeing the ladder led to the canoe room Elathras returned down the ladder and inspected the small rooms to the north, apparently they were used as toilets. Joining the rest of the team they head to the basement to see what is remaining.

This room has been emptied except for a desk, a chair and a pile of
skins made up into a crude bed. The only occupant of this room is Gorl
the gnoll.

seeing the gnoll on the cot, Elathras started to remember the events from yesterday, the evil gnolls who attacked the party. the devil bird that killed the Halfling. Elathras temper starts to flair, he screams out No! Elathras draws his great flail out as he rushes to the Gnoll readying an attack.

As Elathras finishes screaming at the gnoll, unconcerned if it wakes the beast, his anger reaches a breaking point and he swings his flail wildly at the beast.
